Horrible. No flavor. Worst Chinese food. Will never eat here again.. fried rice was dry no flavor , orange chicken plain , also seemed to be microwaved. Do not recommend eating here. You're Better off spending your money at Panda Express.

My husband and I have been craving Chinese food and this establishment is near our home. We stopped in for an early dinner. We had to go to the restroom first. Afterwards I almost had my husband take me elsewhere. The light switch is very dirty. The tiles and floor are in disrepair. I couldn't get hot water out of the faucet to wash my hands. We ended up going ahead and trying them out. We got dinner #B hot and sour soup, orange chicken, shrimp LoMain , egg rolls , cheese wonton and fried shrimp. The soup had a weird aftertaste I could not figure out what so I didn't eat any more my husband felt the same way so we left it behind. The eggrolls and fried shrimp had like an old oil taste to them. The cheese wontons were very good. We could have eaten more of them. The main course came with fried rice and all of that was very good. The restaurant itself was inviting , had beautiful chandeliers, and decor. The tables were clean and nice. The server was quick and efficient.

    LOL. How true.

China Garden has gone through many iterations over the years, but the food is good. Clearly this is a small family run operation, with the hostess up front, who also doubled as our server and also runs to the kitchen to get the Take-Out, while answering the phones. She easily put on 5K in steps, while we were sitting here. It was just incredible to watch. But the key here is the food and to a lesser extent the service. Some of the reviewers seem to miss that and took exception to this incredibly hard working owner. We went with the Fried Pork Dumplings, Chicken Cashew and General Tso's Chicken (photos). The General was clearly the best. The surprise was the gift of some Egg Drop Soup, which came with our meal. Nice!! Three and a Half Stars "A-Okay", rounded up to Four Stars. We came in for lunch around 2pm today and were Sat immediately. Ordered 2 lunch specials that came with egg drop soup for 7.95 which is more than reasonable. The food was so fresh and amazing we were truly blown away. The crispy beef was so tender and my husbands general chicken tsaos chicken was crispy and yummy too. The inside was calm, not hectic at all and seating options for boothes or tables. Oh the little crispy noodles they bring you for free in the beginning are so very yummy - thank you

This place has been on and off my radar now for the entire 18 months I have lived so close. A new Thai and a new Korean place recently opened in the same downtown area, and I haven't been compelled to try either of them yet as well. Hungry and heavy rain lured me in even though I had a big bag of fresh groceries, and I can cook like the wind. I really just wanted a big bowl of hot and sour soup but opted for a combination appetizer platter. Fried shrimp, Egg rolls, Paper chicken, Crab ragoons and both steak and chicken skewers served in a large sectioned out wood serving bowl with a flaming cauldron in the center. It wasn't bad, and that beat expectations. I would have liked more sweet n sour sauce over the larger than necessary brown sauce. The place isn't much to look at as the hostess desk is basically a box with glass and stuff everywhere, the dining room ultra-bright and the tables sparsely topped. Service was nonexistent, a gesture to sit where I liked, a quick order, and food unceremoniously dropped at the table until the end when my server came out into the rain and called out to me because I had left something behind. Pro move and let me to believe the service thing was more of a language thing. Would I go back- probably and sooner than the 18 months it took for my first try.

We ordered egg rolls, Orange Chicken, and black pepper beef. The order came with fried rice. I called in the order for delivery. The service is what you expect in any chinese restaurant. Lol, non existant basically, but that's normal. For a restaurant, the quality of the food is what you expect from a takeout, not restaurants. The best thing about our order was the crispy egg rolls. The orange chicken wasn't crispy, and some pieces were really dry. The black pepper beef looked promising, but once we dig in, we find a lot more onions than beef. And this was a chef's specialty. The fried rice was good with both items. Can't say much about the ambiance of the place since we had the order to go. We may try other items, but we'll see.

    Pan-fried Noodles! A classic!

I just want to preface this by saying I do have quite a bit of bias towards this place since I used to have lunch here quite often when I was younger. This place used to have a massive silver arowana tank which was amazing for a kid my age, but it has changed ownership a few times since then. What I can say is that the pan fried noodles are still absolutely amazing. I want to mention that this is less of a bistro restaurant, and more of a home-style flavor, so don't expect any incredibly powerful flavors, instead, enjoy the subtlety and nuance. If you sit down to dine, and they have been doing this for over twenty years now, you get a complimentary bowl of egg-drop soup and these little crispy noodles with a sweet sauce.

China Garden is in our neighborhood. We been there numerous times for take out. The food is always tasty and plenty for two people. The owners are always very nice. We will certainly go back for more.

We arrived right when they opened at 3 PM on a Saturday. The hostess was sweet and quickly showed us to our table. As soon as we walked in, I noticed the paintings on the walls--they were beautiful and really added to the atmosphere. If you want to learn some history behind the restaurant ask Tiffany for the story behind the paintings :) We started with a couple of drinks, and they were delicious. I ordered a Bloody Maria (basically a Bloody Mary made with tequila), and it was really good. For an appetizer, we got the Grilled Corn Ribs, and wow--they were so tasty. We couldn't stop talking about how good they were. For our entrées, we ordered the Double Stacked Cheeseburger and the Cavatelli pasta. I really enjoyed the pasta. The flavor was delicious, and while the noodles were a bit thicker than I expected, it was still a great dish. My partner wasn't the biggest fan of the burger because of the Southwestern pimento cheese, but the fries were excellent! I tried the burger myself and honestly thought it was still pretty good. It was also my partners birthday so they brought a cute little dessert! Overall, we had a great experience. Our waiter, Jose, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. We'd definitely come back and try more items on the menu.

It has been our go-to steakhouse, and we've even celebrated our anniversary here. We love the food, which makes what happened during our son's birthday dinner especially disappointing. After an excellent steak dinner that cost approximately $330, we brought out a small, pre-sliced ice cream Polar Pizza for our son's birthday. I began serving it myself because it was already sliced. The waitress then came over and, in a confrontational manner, announced that we would be charged a $25 cake-cutting fee. The fee may have previously been mentioned to my wife, but I was not aware of it when I began serving the cake. I understand that restaurants have policies, and a calm explanation would have been enough. Instead, the situation was turned into an unnecessary scene during our son's birthday celebration. Then another large male employee came over, stepped directly into my personal space, and angrily asked, "Would you bring beer into a bar?" He got right in my face without first asking what had happened or allowing me to explain. His tone and decision to get that close were aggressive, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. We ultimately paid the $25 fee even though the staff did not cut, plate, or serve the cake. The fee was frustrating, but the confrontational way the employees handled the situation was far worse. Families considering celebrating a child's birthday here should confirm every outside dessert policy beforehand. In our case, what should have been a joyful moment for our son became an upsetting experience. It did not leave us feeling as though families celebrating with children were welcomed or valued. A simple and respectful conversation could have resolved everything in seconds. Instead, their response changed the entire mood and ruined what should have been a special ending to our son's birthday dinner. The food may still be excellent, but a restaurant is remembered for more than its steaks. After years of loyalty, the aggressive and disrespectful way this was handled during our son's birthday has cost them our business. We will not be returning.

My husband said his carne asada was good but that his chilaquiles were bland and definitely not spicy at all. Although he did enjoy their beans. I would have told them I didn't enjoy my but unfortunately after we were served our waitress never returned to check on us or refill our water. There was no wait for a booth, and the restaurant had a fun, family-friendly atmosphere with TVs throughout the dining room. The complimentary bread was warm, fluffy, and fresh. The cinnamon butter was tasty, though definitely on the sweeter side. The peanuts were exactly what you'd expect from Texas Roadhouse. For drinks, we tried the blue lemonade and strawberry lemonade. The blue lemonade tasted pretty similar to regular lemonade, but the free refills were a nice bonus. The strawberry lemonade was the standout and definitely worth ordering. We also tried the Dragonfruit Sparkler, which was fruity, refreshing, and one of the better specialty drinks on the menu. For entrees, the Herb Crusted Chicken Dinner was the clear winner. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned, and the corn on the side was surprisingly delicious. The Country Fried Chicken Dinner was just okay. It wasn't bad, but I've had better versions elsewhere, and even with the gravy it felt a little lacking in flavor. The fries were pretty standard. Another plus was the large parking lot and the reasonable prices. The portions were generous, and overall the meal felt like a good value for the money. A special shoutout to Candace for providing friendly and attentive service throughout our visit. Overall, Texas Roadhouse delivered a solid dining experience with good food, affordable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. He decided to give me the gift card this evening to enjoy a nice meal as our kiddos were at their grandparents and he was working. I ordered a $30+ meal the 6oz sirloin + shrimp and two sides. I got it to go so I could enjoy it at home. While I was waiting (I had arrived very close to the pickup time), I noticed an employee standing next to the driver's side of a car talking to the driver, who appeared to be an acquaintance. I could clearly overhear the conversation, and the employee was saying things that I found completely inappropriate to be discussing while standing right in front of the restaurant, even if it was technically in the parking lot. Two minutes before my pickup time, I went to the to-go window and received my food. When I got home, I realized my rolls didn't include the house butter. Whatever! It's not the end of the world. But worth noting as you would think this would be standard to provide. What became really problematic was the meal itself. I ordered my steak well done, but it arrived bleeding and wasn't even close to medium well. Why ask how I want my steak cooked if you aren't going to cook it that way? The shrimp was cold and incredibly salty. The potato? How do you get a potato wrong? Well, somehow they managed...it was stale and overly salty too. The broccoli I don't even think was steamed for more than a minute before you gave it "seasoning". The entire meal was awful and for $30?! Hahahaha I guess really the joke was on me for paying such an absurd amount but I really was expecting some quality somewhere. It just wasn't there all at. We still have money left on our gift card, but we'll be giving it away because we won't be coming back. I didn't even bother calling to complain because, judging by the quality of the food, I don't think a complaint would make any difference. I added a photo of my "well done steak".

As for the food, the price is definitely on the higher side, but considering it's a smaller town and there aren't many poke options nearby, it feels somewhat justified compared to driving farther out. The portion sizes were great, especially the protein. I got salmon and shrimp with a medium spice level, plus avocado, furikake, green onion, onion, and cucumber. It was simple but really good. Their topping options are a bit limited compared to other poke spots, but they cover the basics that most people usually get anyway. Most importantly, they are not skimpy with the protein, which I really appreciated. The inside was very clean, well-kept, and welcoming.
