I recently visited Tokyo House Ramen & Sushi, and overall the food was the highlight of the experience. I usually order the calamari rolls, and as always, they were fresh and flavorful. I also tried the combo yakisoba and combo fried rice--the portions were huge, easily enough for two or even three people. While the combos weren't my favorite, the sushi itself was excellent and definitely the standout of the meal. Service was friendly and efficient. There isn't a formal greeter, but someone seated us right away, and our server was patient, knowledgeable, and happy to walk us through the menu since it was our first time trying several items. The food came out surprisingly fast, even with a busy dining room. The atmosphere, however, needs improvement. The decor is nice and the vibe is relaxed, but the cleanliness and comfort were lacking. The booth seating wasn't very comfortable, and the biggest issue was the strong lingering sewage/garbage smell in the dining area likely from the kitchen and restroom due to the small building. Honestly, if I hadn't been with a group, I probably would have opted for takeout, as the smell was pretty noticible. For the price, the value is fair. The lunch specials are a good deal, though the in‑store price for the two‑roll sushi deal is different from the online price. In the end, the sushi is good enough that I'll keep coming back, but at least for myslef until the smell issue is fixed, I'll stick to pickup instead of dining in. read more

We stopped by for some takeout after a long day of work. We ordered ahead online, which was a quick and easy process thankfully. Our order was already ready by the time we arrived, which is great service. The restaurant itself looked fairly clean but not very busy. It was easy for us to grab our food and go. The food itself was decent. I ordered the chicken yakisoba and my husband got the spicy miso ramen (which I forgot to take a picture of). The yakisoba was okay, with lots of mixed vegetables and stir fried soba noodles. I didn't feel like there was much flavor to it, and it felt like it was coated in grease when I got to the end unfortunately. My husband really liked his ramen and said the spice leave was just right and the noodles were the perfect size and had some nice chew to it. He did also agree that his broth felt like it got quite greasy as well. This is a pretty decent spot. I'm a bit particular about my ramen and noodles, but it's still a good spot if you want nearby option for ramen. read more

Walked in with a party of 2 at 8:28pm. The hostess with blonde hair told us she didn't know if we could be sat since they close in 30 mins and guided us to order take out. We're standing at take out, she comes and asks if we've been helped, I say no and she says "I can't take the order but someone else will." Ok... so we finally get our order taken. As we wait for our food, at 8:45 pm, the hostess that helps us walks out to break and another party of 2 comes in. They get sat by another team member. So now we have to drive home to enjoy our sushi after being lied to. I'm sure the hostess just denied service to try to leave home early. Which is totally understandable, but c'mon denying service a whole 30 mins before closing is crazy. Probably wouldn't come back for that sole reason. Just left a bad impression. read more

Stopped in for lunch with a couple of friends. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and seated. Friends opted for the lunch special sushi, which includes 2 rolls for $14.99. I had the Chirashi bowl and everything was delicious!! The fish was fresh, the rice was extra yummy! My lunch mates enjoyed their rolls. We tried the mochi ice cream for dessert. It was ok, but not great. I'd give this spot. 10/10 for cleanliness; 10/10 for service; 9/10 for the food. Overall 9.5/10. I'll be back and recommend others give them a try. read more

The service wasn't the best it was busy the night that I went , so I'd definitely go there before bust dinner hours. The ramen broth was actually really good surprisingly, but I'd probably skip out on the egg next time didn't enjoy the flavor at all... As a big fan of their Menifee location I was so excited to try this place much closer to my house and let me say they absolutely did not disappoint! Reviewing this based off the food. They just opened and I decided to stop by. I ordered off their "lunch special menu" and got the "Any Two Rolls" order. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura Roll and the Fire Cracker Roll. Both rolls were delicious and filling. The service was extremely fast as multiple people helped taking my order, refilling my drinks, and cleaning up the table as I finished. Presentation and taste of the food was top notch so I would definitely come back here. One con I have is that they don't state it or have it written anywhere but they charge $0.35 if you ask for spicy mayo when dining in. read more

unfortunately I bought 2 ramens for take out: 1) spicy miso & 2) vegan spicy miso. the green vegan noodles had pork on it. the yellow noodles did not have pork in the container with the veggies etc which I assume was the vegan one. I started eating the yellow noodle broth and container since there was NOT pork on it. after further research the green noodles was supposed to be vegan but it had PORK on it in the container. both containers did not even differentiate whether vegan broth or not but it wouldn't have mattered because the typical green (vegan) noodles had pork on it. so disappointed and a waste of money. unfortunate first impression. now have to find new dinner for tonight. edit: management called, and left a VM I appreciate their call and apologies. i'm not looking for a refund or anything please just be more careful next time. thank you tokyo house ramen. read more

The staff actually called me to let me know what happened, which was really nice of them. Everything got sorted out quickly and I was able to reorder without a problem. The food was so worth it! Man oh man. We were passing by this area and got hungry and decided to give this place a try before driving another hour to get home and this is one of the BEST sushi spots we have been to. Such a bummer they don't have this place home. The restaurants layout is beautiful. Super nice and pretty. The servers are very attentive and nice as well. We order sashimi and couple of rolls. And one thing I must say, EVERYTHING TASTED FRESH. The sashimi didn't taste like it's been left out for awhile. The rolls, deliiciious. I thought I had the best ramen here until aza sushi showed me theyre the best around here, pork tonkotsu was actually cooked there. Meat was nice and juicy and easy to bite at Aza sushi. Here at Tokyo house perris one was okay and menifee was just terrible. Pork tonkotsu I got was rubbery and dry. Never going there when I know Aza sushi is superior. Although I did like the broth here and toppings. If the meat gets better ill redact this tbh. For here tho I gotta give them props for the takoyaki, delicious here read more
