I really wanted this place to be good and I think they can still fix it. Customer service was nill, we had to order off a touch screen so we couldn't ask questions like, "why does the picture on the menu not match the picture on the touch screen?" Takoyaki had none of the traditional toppings (shown in the menu pic) and instead came slightly undercooked and served with sweet chili sauce. Philadelphia roll had fresh salmon, but it was completely overpowered by spicy crab inside the roll. There's supposed to be cream cheese in the roll, not spicy crab. And they shorted me a piece of salmon on top and topped the last piece with a glob of cream cheese. The one saving grace was the miso broth for the ramen. Again, they have the potential, but they need to step back and reevaluate some things. read more

The spot itself is in the Perris Pavilion food court. The whole place is nice and clean. There are TVs and sometimes music playing in the space. The gentleman at the register is super nice. They bring and serve your food out to you if you're eating there or if you take it to go like I did the second time I went today. Good service. When you dine in, the food is beautifully presented. The fish is nice and fresh, flavorful, and not fishy. Tastes quality. Across both visits, we had the salmon and yellowtail nigiri. Well made sushi, just the right amount of fish and rice in a good ratio. The spicy tuna roll was delicious as well, as was the regular tuna roll. They have Ramen as well which I am eager to try. They serve it with your standard Gari ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi (packaged but not bad). It's nice to have food options especially one that is reasonably close (it's a bit of a walk from my house but doable). Give this place a shot for some quick sushi and Japanese fare. Tried their sushi and tonkatsu ramen right after I was discharged from the hospital from giving birth (9+ months abstaining from raw fish is no joke). Customer service was also great, when I called in the order, you can tell that they are careful in taking down your order correctly and was very polite. I even had a slight change/add-on to my order later on and they didn't mind. The sushi was delicious, pretty fresh for being a to-go spot and even better for the price The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 star was the ramen, which wasn't that bad especially if you're only paying $10 (so expect a $10 ramen).
