The dining room appeared to be jaded, but there was a TV which was showing the New Orleans Saints football game when I was there. The buffet itself was a little bit on the smaller side, with two hot food bars and one cold one. However, there was also a stir-fry station and sushi. The food appeared to be fresh, but were the basic offerings from a typical Asian buffet. There were crab legs but they did not look very appetizing. However, the frog legs and the chicken wings were fresh out of the deep fryer when I was there, and were probably the best items on the buffet. Staff regularly tended to the buffet to ensure that it stayed fresh and my server made sure my drink was always filled. There is a freezer in the front filled with little single-serving cups of ice cream that reminded me of the school cafeteria when I was in grade school. The buffet is a bit on the pricey side compared to others of the same caliber. However, the service is excellent which it why I gave it 4 stars instead of three. The King Buffet is a little bit out of the way for me, but I would consider going back the next time I am in Jennings.
