This is such a beautiful hidden gem in Surrey. It is big and spacious and bright. They have a ton of pastries and drinks to choose from which is awesome. I love that they also do high tea if that's something you're interested in. Unfortunately our first experience here was not the greatest because the was a very large party there when we got there for a birthday which took up about 3/4 of the space and only about 1/4 of the space left for people not part of that party. I feel like the staff had a lot of their focus on this party too. At one point they also had the music extremely loud so it was hard to talk to somebody next to you. Loud enough to hurt your ears. I feel like they should've just turned people away if this was the case

Tokyo mithai wala is a trendy Indian mithai shop cum cafe . The tit bit food items on menu are tailored keeping in mind Indian and western tastes. For lot of people it will be hit or miss but we enjoyed the whole experience along with yummy food. We enjoyed the afternoon tea worth $48 and enough for two people. You get to try many items from the menu. Presentation is good. Vada pav was my favourite among all but gol-gappa was also good. Since the platter is for 2 people so feel free to order your respective drinks like we choose chai and coffee and both were great. Loved the cattle The decor is very pretty as there is plenty of natural light due to high ceilings. They also have a separate room / dinning area upstairs for private bookings but the seating downstairs is also stylish and Comfortable.

    Approximately CAD$22.

Ambiance is superb. Very affordable price. Service is good. This is Japanese presentation/interpretation of Indian dessert; somewhat unique and actually not bad; heavily loaded with sugar and fat. Highly recommend the hazelnut chocolate mousse! Ask the waitress for typical Indian sweet and they could make good recommendations!

My friend booked afternoon tea at this location. It was quite affordable at $24 a person. I found the portion quite filling and the price included one chai or coffee beverage. I enjoyed the Indian twist on the concept although I did miss the scones and clotted cream found in the traditional British afternoon tea experience. The masala tea was good and the vada pav was my favourite item. It looked like a mini slider with a spicy potato patty and was delicious. On a separate note, everything was vegetarian on the menu. Service was efficient. Staff checked in a couple times. Restroom was clean. There is a decent amount of parking on this mini plaza.

The atmosphere is upscale and have a varied range of Indo-western desserts like motichoor cheesecake and coconut souffle. Their afternoon tea menu is extensive and offers a better selection of savoury and desserts. If you can eat that's the best bang for your buck. Service was very prompt and courteous.

Such a hidden gem! When the server told us that this spot had been around for a year we were shocked that we had never heard of it. The interior was small and clean, nothing special but the presentation of the food was high quality and added to the nice vibes. We got 4 servings of their tea and a few dishes on the side for the 5 of us. Each set came with an option of tea or coffee, and they had alternative milk options which was surprising as it's hard to find oat milk at most Indian establishments. The food was alright, some items on the tea tier were better than others. Some favorites were the rose pistachio burfi and the dhodha truffle. I will definitely be back to try more of their sweets like the matcha burfi.

Did anyone say Indian style high tea?? Well, if you love a good cup of authentic chai and Indian savouries look no further. Head to Tokyo Mithaiwala in Surrey, it's definitely worth the drive. Creamy rich chai or coffee served with your favourite Indian vegetarian finger foods with a unique twist! My only complaints... food was cold and perhaps is meant to be served at that temp. Iam used to having pakoras/samosa's served hot. Customer service a tad slow or unorganized; we had to ask for cutlery and our tea came after our high tea tray was delivered. Music was too loud for a high tea or cafe style setting. But, it's a newly opened establishment and that may improve with time! Nonetheless, I'll be back again as the high tea menu changes and their mithai ( sweets) rotate.

High tea is $48 for 2, and it is more than fair considering the amount of food provided, as well as the superb quality. It's a completely vegetarian high tea, and it also comes with chai! The only thing I'd say was overrated was the $7.99 rose elaichi drink. It was pretty okay, but the serving size was tiny and it's not quite worth it (in my opinion).

A new experience opened up in Surrey. Was my first time there recently and definitely won't be my last visit. We ordered the afternoon high tea which is customizable depending on how big your group is. It included coffee or tea along with sweet and savory appetizers like pani puri, samosa rolls, vada pav, etc. We were quite happy with the amount of food (which was almost like a meal to be honest) and food quality/preparation/taste was awesome!!

I was in love with the welcoming ambiance. There's a fridge with cakes to go, and the treat window was filled with sweet goodies to stock up on. There's not much of a seating area--just two armchairs--so it's more of a takeaway spot. We purchased cake trifles (Red Velvet & Cardamom), stuffed cookies (Lotus Biscoff & Cardamom Pistachio Chai), and sweet spot cakes (Mango Lassi & Kulfi) to go. Everything was delicious! The cookies weren't overly sweet and had the perfect chewy texture. My favorite was the Cardamom Pistachio Chai. Unfortunately, our visit happened to be during the heavy winds when most of the Lower Mainland had a power outage. I was so happy they were still open, as we had driven all the way from East Van to get there. They were flexible enough to take e-transfer as payment, which was a lifesaver. And lucky for us, we got to meet the man behind the bakery, Jujhar! Even though he was busy dealing with the power outage, he still took the time to say hello, which was really nice. I wish they were closer, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise because my wallet and waistline would definitely be in trouble. Overall, Mann & Co Bakeshop is absolutely worth the visit, even with a bit of a drive. The creative flavors, high-quality treats, and friendly service make it a standout spot for baked goods. I'll definitely be back (probably sooner than I should) to try more of their unique creations. If you're a fan of Is It Cake? or just love a good dessert adventure, this place should be on your list!
