I came here for a birthday party on Sunday and we had the private event room! It's beautifully lit and decorated! Don't ask me what all of the appetizers were called but they were all soooo delicious! I love that this restaurant is Japanese inspired but infused with so many different cultures! You can tell they put a ton of thought into each dish. They have happy hour from 4-7 on Sundays so you bet we were taking advantage! The drinks are perfectly crafted.. it's an art that you can make drinks taste and look this good! For my main dish I had an Alaska roll and it was amazing. I would highly recommend coming here for a romantic date night or come eat outside on the patio while the kids play at the park nearby! 10/10!

Drinks were great, service was awesome...But dinner was too salty. Ordered the lomo Salado, beef as cooked perfect med rare but sauce was too salty. Had appetizers , those were good.

We went here for my bday on a Sunday evening. Super cute decoration and vibe. Everything was really good. Service was a little slow.

My friend and I checked out this Fusion restaurant last week. The atmosphere was unique and vibrant, happy hr was amazing , the service was top notch . We opted out for some happy hr apps such as pork belly baos and spicy honey shrimp pops (were not spicy really, but super delicious ) for $8 each, then decided to split Grilled octopus Peruvian style and Tropical sushi roll. We tried few drinks as well , which were a great price for happy hr, and for dessert we had this heavenly tasting custard/flan like dessert . We ll be def back to try more of the rest of the menu. What an amazing visit to Tokyo Nikkei Restobar!!

Extremely disappointing experience, would NOT recommend -- started off good, but went downhill fast. We came here tonight with our family of 7 (though two of those are toddlers, ages 2 and 3), and honestly, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had in a while. Things started off promising -- our server was friendly at first, and the appetizers came out quickly and tasted pretty good. But after that, everything just fell apart. We waited at least 30 minutes for our main dishes to come out, and when they finally did, the quality was all over the place. The sushi was a joke -- maybe 10% fish and 90% rice, and it didn't even come with soy sauce, ginger, or wasabi. We had to ask for those separately. The potatoes in a couple of our dishes, including the tuna nikkei and lomo saltado, were undercooked, which is unacceptable for a restaurant at this price point. The ramen was basically a bowl of plain noodle soup with random vegetables tossed in -- definitely not authentic ramen, not even close. The beer was served straight in the bottle, with no chilled glass or cup. To make things worse, our waitress barely checked on us after the appetizers came out. She never came to refill our waters, not even once. Service just got slower and less attentive as the night went on. And to top it all off, the bill automatically included a tip -- even though our "party of 7" included two little kids who obviously weren't eating full meals. Overall, this place completely missed the mark. Between the poor service, long wait, and disappointing food, would recommend you spending your money elsewhere

Where do I begin....The food? The atmosphere??? The impeccable service????? This place is an awesome edition to the Ft. Myers SWFL food scene. Let's start with the food the sushi was Devine. The mix of the Peruvian sauces and cooking techniques mixed with Japanese cuisine is a symphony of happiness to your taste buds. The sweet duck was an amazing dish level 4 out of 10 for the sweetness factor. The service was very good. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was frequently checking up on us. The atmosphere is pretty cool. Very upbeat new age dinning etc. The decor looks awesome Asian and some Latin influence lots of space to enjoy your meal. Highly recommend checking this place out. I personally will definitely become a regular at this spot!!!!

Went for happy hour, the staff was amazing, every server greeted me upon arrival and let us seat exactly where we wanted. Throughout eating, service was quick and super friendly. Atmosphere was fun and the restaurant itself is just beautiful. The Food was very good, the Honey Shrimp is a must. Also, the sushi rolls were delicious and had so many different options to choose from.

    Tropical roll and edamame

Best sushi in the area hands down. Fish was very fresh and this roll was delicious! I had the tropical roll and a bao bun they were both great. Staff was very friendly. I recommend for a date night or drinks. The inside is very pretty and well decorated with moody lighting. Very cute!

Amazing food, service was very attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant is phenomenal! This place is a gem located in Fort Myers and something the city needed badly and finally got! If Peruvian/Japanese cuisine is your thing, or even just good food, this must be your next spot!

Service was great from start to finish. Our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. She brought us champagne on the house for our anniversary which was very nice. She also helped get us a table in the bar area for after-dinner drinks even though it was packed in there. She went above and beyond. The foot was amazing! Usually I'm very underwhelmed by bao buns but these were the best ones I've had. They packed in enough flavor that the buns didn't mute everything (what usually happens). We also had the brisket fried rice which was great. I wanted the meat flavor to come through and stand out a little more from the rice but overall very good. But the miso black cod stole the show. Wow this dish was incredible. The fish absolutely melted in your mouth. I don't even know how they got that amazing texture and flavor on it. Also, awesome cocktails. Their signature cocktail was perfect for after dinner.

It is dimly lit with vibrant fluorescent accents that create a unique and stunning ambiance. The gorgeous floral installation in the center of the restaurant is a lovely focal point. Our server was incredibly bubbly and helpful, making the entire experience 5 stars. The prices were very reasonable, the portions were generous and the food was incredible. My one disappointment was the Bangkok Street Noodles with smoked brisket, rice noodles, egg, chili, and crunchy garlic. I expected them to have more spice, but they were much sweeter than spicy. The star of the meal was the Orange Chicken. I do not usually order orange chicken, but this version was outstanding! It was perfectly crispy without being too sweet, with fresh orange peel, sweet chili, and bok choy. The Veggie Fried Rice was another perfect dish. Loaded with button mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, red peppers and scallions, it was loaded with fresh vegetables and flavor. It is the kind of dish I could eat every day! Blackbird Modern Asian exceeded our expectations. Between the inviting atmosphere, exceptional service, generous portions, and delicious food, we only wish it was closer. Charleston needs a location!

Listen, sometimes you just want what you want--and what we want is P.F. Chang's. Say what you will…read moreabout chain restaurants, but this place delivers. Started with the fried dumplings, and let me tell you, they brought back the hot plate experience. That sizzle when it hits the table? The crispy bottoms? The little ceremony of it all? Chef's kiss. It's the details that matter, and P.F. Chang's remembers that. The Mongolian beef remains undefeated in this household. Caramelized, savory, just the right amount of sweetness with those scallions piled high--this is our go-to, our never-fail, our "why would we order anything else" dish. And yet we do, because the chicken pad Thai (no tofu, thank you very much) holds its own. Solid noodles, good flavor, no complaints. Wash it all down with an ice-cold Sapporo or a Ha-Chi on tap, and you've got yourself a proper meal. But here's where it gets bittersweet. Our favorite bartender, Matt, is gone. After almost three years behind that bar, he's moved on--and honestly? The experience just wasn't the same without him. We've been coming here for over two years now, practically since we first moved to Southwest Florida, and Matt was a big part of why. He knew our order, knew our vibe, made us feel like regulars in the best possible way. So Matt, wherever you landed--we wish you nothing but the best, my friend. You made this spot feel like our spot. The Verdict: The food still hits, the beer is still cold, and P.F. Chang's remains a reliable favorite. But losing a great bartender stings. Four stars for the meal, and a raised glass to the guy who made it feel like home.
