I'm not one to do reviews and most of the time I forget, but one place I'll never forget is this place. My husband and I had been looking for a good sushi place to eat on Sunday September 8 2024 without success. We thought we'd give this place a try as a last resort and boy was I very happy with the overall service and quality of sushi. Other places we had been to were not as good We sat at the chef bar. Chef was amazing and the waitress had the best customer service. I wish I could remember her name ugh! Shout out to who ever this young lady was that attend us. We were there around 6pm. So, if this is you thank you so much for being so attentive to serving and going the extra mile. I asked for the owner and made sure to let him know about the great service his employees provided us. And thanked him for the quality of sushi. We loved it so much we are coming back again tonight. Crossing my fingers that the service is as amazing as the first time we were there. Went here last night and I'm pretty bummed. We used to go here all the time and last night was just not it. We ordered four rolls and ended up only getting two of the four rolls. When we asked the waiter about it, he said he didn't hear us order the other two, even though he repeated my order back to me. The calamari was pretty much uneditable. And to tie it all together, I got food poisoning and was up until 3 AM throwing up. read more

Placed a to go order, online, mid week at 6pm got the confirmation email that said it would be ready at 640pm. Got there at about 645pm and they said they needed 5 more minutes no big deal. Walked out to my truck for 5-10 minutes it's now 650pm. And they said they're going to need a decent amount more time. They didn't seem to busy maybe 1/3 full, two sushi chefs behind the counter and a few guys in the back. I really like this place it's always good, fresh and everyone is very very nice but by the time my food was ready an hour and fifteen minutes had passed since I placed my order! They said it was because they were busy but I sat there for 35 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready and it was not that busy. I understand things happen but come on that's a little ridiculous. I've ordered on Friday and Saturday nights and didn't wait that long. read more

Went to Tokyo sushi for the first time last weekend to celebrate a birthday. They were kind enough to bring a scoop of ice cream for our guest of honor! Everything we ordered was very fresh and tasted great. We all really enjoyed what we ordered - I got the ultimate salmon and definitely recommend it if you like salmon of course! Actually, I came here a few years ago when the previous owner had a sushi restaurant, which was good, but this new ownership has stepped up their game. I was impressed with the quality of sushi they served and how friendly they were. Here are highlights of what we ordered. Garlic Brussel Sprouts- It was a perfect dish to start your dinner. Heart Attack- I literally had a heart attack. lol Jalapeño stuffed with spicy tuna and cream cheese. It was so good. Highly recommended. Takoyaki - the same quality-Takoyaki I used to get from Jtown. I can't believe it tasted that good. Premium Bento Dinner - Tempura was so crispy, and my friend added salmon teriyaki that tasted so good. My friend ordered this, but I ended up eating more. lol Flaming Spicy Troy #1- This plate literally comes out on fire. It's insta friendly. lol took lots of pics of this. It tasted so good as well. I wanted to order more, but we saw Flaming Spicy Troy #3 !! So we ordered this instead. Flaming Spicy Troy #3- This is my all-time favorite. Everything is the same with Flaming Spicy Troy #1, but this has fresh water eel instead of albacore and spicy tuna, and it makes everything so much better, in my opinion. Highly recommended! We tried the new Tokyo Sushi which was formerly Omega last Friday evening and it was a great experience. We look forward to going back and frequenting often since it's so close. One of the things we really appreciated was that you are able to eat at the sushi bar again now. We had an awesome server named Sho and I believe the awesome chef's name is J.J. We got there around 5pm before the dinner rush but even as it got busier the service did not suffer. The decor of Tokyo Sushi is very inviting and we must have felt comfortable because we were there for at least 2 hours. The food was very fresh with good portions and it was hard not to try everything. We started with the Calamari appetizer and then ordered an assortment of sushi - Albacore, Salmon, Yellowtail, Red Sea Bream and Blue Fin Tuna (pictured) which all tasted very fresh and melted in your mouth. We then tried their Crispy Rice Biscuit (1/2 pictured) which was very tasty and plentiful. I forgot to take a picture before we started digging in so you only see 2 pieces but it actually comes with 4 good size pieces and is very yummy. We ended the evening with the Baked Green Mussels (pictured). Everything was absolutely wonderful - the food, the service (especially Sho), the decor, the chef's and we even met a very nice couple and chatted with them a bit. We are very much looking forward to go again and hope that we can make this our go-to sushi spot! :) read more

Disclaimer: I unfortunately did not take any photos. Tonight, I took two of my best friends to Tokyo Sushi at L.A. and Yosemite. One of my friends is a sushi officinato, who actually got me into exploring more types of fish/sushi. Our meal tonight was OFF THE CHART. There was not one thing we had we didn't like. The fish quality is on point, the size of the rolls beat anyone in town, the chefs are fun, the owner was all over the floor bussing, cleaning tables, clearing plates, taking orders, running plates from the kitchen, and super friendly and fun. If you haven't been here yet, put it on your list. The restaurant is very nice and very clean. We literally spent 3 1/2 hours there, enjoying the AMAZING food, and obviously the company. So excited about this amazing, new sushi spot! My Dad and I were craving sushi, so we drove up without doing any research and took a chance; and we were positively delighted with our experience. I am self-proclaimed sushi snob and my Dad is even more particular. The items on the menu that we ordered absolutely did NOT disappoint! As we sat at the cute sushi bar, we started chatting with a couple of very nice guys, and the staff, and found out that this was Tokyo's soft opening; we had no idea it had changed hands only a week ago. The staff was all so friendly and sweet, with lots of big, fun personalities. I love that the servers and sushi chefs wear traditional Japanese clothing, it's so festive, and the decor around the bar is beautiful; they have cute bamboo fish lamps and Japanese flags, and the sushi is out of this world. The main sushi chef who was working in front of us is an absolute artist. The salmon sashimi appetizer my Dad ordered came first and looked like a beautiful flower, literally everything he made was gorgeous. We are so excited about this new neighborhood sushi place, and we will be going there every time I visit my Dad.
