I could go on and on, but I would only be repeating the negative comments from other customers. Undoubtably the most horrendous customer service I have ever encountered, they will not answer the phone, will not return calls, will not answer email, they blow you off on Messenger and even failed to reply to the BBB. Yet, people fail to read reviews and end up getting screwed by this company. I guess I have to grab hold of my butt and figure out a legal way to get my building fixed. This Company TOL Building out of North Carolina should be shut down and all Customers beware of this Builder. First I would like to say I had a 30 x 60 Metal Barn installed in January 2024 with TOL vender was American Structures that I bought my Barn threw online last year. The building they used 2 FT anchor Cork screws to hold your building down just 8 of them with the other being straight Rebar between the 2 FT Cork screws. On May 8th, 2024 we had a Severe Thunderstorm come threw in Tennessee. My New Barn was only up for 3 months on my property the barn completely blew away nothing was left. The devastation it left across ten acres of land was amazing. TOL DID NOT Anchor my Metal Barn down correctly or used the wrong length Cork Screws or not the necessary amount to secure my barn. I have called TOL and American Structures over 6 weeks now trying to talk with the Owners or Managers to resolve this situation and have them install me a new Barn I had a warranty 140 MPH on my Barn. After constant attempts to call TOL the agent said that they could do nothing for my Barn or Family on our Metal Barn and they would not be doing anything for my Family. I'm writing this review and Letter to inform everyone to not buy anything from American Structures or TOL they will not warranty there Buildings or even work with you. They hold you hostage on your deposit and will not return your money for any reason. I hope that the BBB can close the Doors on this Manufacture especially TOL Buildings. I bought a steel building and they did a piss poor job of installing the building one roof panel was damaged from them walking on it during the during when they installed the roof panels and when installing the wall panels they trapped rocks between the sheeting and the frame work. The cuts in wall panels was shitty. The building now leaks. When I call no answers about fixing the problems. 15 thousand later and the building sucks. This company is the worst . Probably one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They are extremely slow at getting you scheduled. They never answer the phone and when they do, they transfer you to somebody else's voicemail who never returns the call. I've been waiting for over a month to get my new garage repaired and still haven't got anywhere. On many occasions, I requested to speak with a manager but was never able to. IMO, find another company to spend your money with. Will be filing a BBB complaint. I wish I could select a -5 star rating. read more

Ordered a carport from Viking Steel Buildings in June of 21. Received a computer generated contract from TOL in Youngstown Ohio. Contract all signed and sent back. Company asked for site pictures where carport would be installed, sent them and received a text that they were received and approved. Sent emails to TOL as to when carport would be delivered and installed, was told, via email, in Oct of 21, that material was ready and waiting to be scheduled on a run, I assumed this was a run to come install. Emailed them many times asking when carport would be delivered, got same answer, waiting to be scheduled. March 24, 2022 received a text that price on carport has gone up $1,000 due to metal price increase. I asked why the carport had not been delivered in Oct. of 21. I received a email, from them, that they did not receive the site pictures, which they did. Now they will not reply to my emails or respond to my questions.
