Pamela and her team are one of the friendliest people we ever worked with. We ran into her company based on a recommendation as we were looking for a move-out clean as we sold our house. The new home owners were thrilled with how spotless the house was. Needless to say that we opted again for Pamela and her team to clean our current new home. They have always been timely, very accommodating, and have generously suggested us when to do additional cleaning such as windows. The great thing about this company is that they are a small business, cleaning our house like it would be their own. It's seldom I give such a positive review, and I am actually surprised by reading some of the negative reviews here, which makes me wonder about the true assessment of the actual poster or their integrity. Too many times people operate with a lack of integrity, which is certainly not the case when working with this business. When it comes to cleaning services, you get as much as you are willing to pay. With Toledo Cleaning Services we get so much more! We have a pet bird who is accustomed to them coming around so the bird pretty much flies and sits on their shoulder while they are vacuuming. My husband and I have been using TCS cleaning company (Pamela and her husband) for a couple years now. We have once a month house cleaning and have also used them to do a move out clean on a previous property. We have referred them several times and have never heard anything back but positive reviews! We are empty nesters with no pets and keep things pretty clean but even so a 2000 sq ft home. two levels takes a crew to keep it clean! We always walk in after a day at work and love seeing our home sparkling clean. I have never worried about having TCS in my home and have never had an issue with anything out of place or missing. Pamela and her husband are good, honest and hardworking people. If I have ever seen anything missed or would have liked it done differently- Pamela has always accommodated. People are human, there may be something missed once in awhile but you communicate and move forward- you don't make a nasty post and just "Yelp" about it. I am a clean freak and meeting my standards would not be easy- but Pamela does each and every month. Response: Pamela, you told me the reason you missed spots was because it was the first time cleaning our house. Cleaning is cleaning regardless if it is the 1st time or the 20th time. Our house was not extremely dirty. The biggest issue was some dust as well as bread crumbs under the toaster; but hardly enough to call too dirty. Nor did you tell me it was too dirty when you gave me the estimate. It gets cleaned on a monthly basis by professionals and in between by us. We went one month without a cleaning service and considering we are not slobs there is no way anyone would view our house as very dirty. The pictures you advertise in your profile I would consider as too dirty; but ours wasn't even close in comparison to those. We hired TCS for a deep clean and there were multiple items not cleaned. The biggest was under the toaster. It is standard to remove all items from the counter to clean the entire service especially under a toaster and clearly this did not happen. They are really nice people; but unfortunately have a different standard of deep/Spring clean than most do. read more

We've had a couple clean our house for several years but the husband got another job about a year ago. The plan was for us to take a weekend each month and do it ourselves but you know how that goes... I contacted Pamela at TCS based on a recommendation posted on a community website. She and her husband came to our house and gave us an estimate ($180/mo for 2 floors 2500 sf). Keep in mind we don't have any little kids and our home is not cluttered. Pamela told us her next availability was 11 days later. After calling 2 of their references, I texted her the next day and asked to book the date. She replied saying that after meeting me, she met with someone else and they already booked that date. She said she will let me know when the next opening comes up. That was 6 days ago... Was it something I said? Should I have said "we want you to clean our house for the next 10 years" versus "we want to give you a try"? News flash! You are not Canlis on Valentine's Day or LOL Surprise Dolls last Christmas. It appears they are so busy and booked out so far that we had to be on standby and then forgotten. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited a week before writing this review. Unprofessional indeed! Response to business owner's comment: I have never met a cleaning service where they were unable to schedule me in...even if it means scheduling out a month or two. I understand another person took your 7/31 availability before I agreed. However, your reply was "we will let you know when the next opening comes up." I waited 6 days and you never got back to me. Am I suppose to just keep waiting?! It's hard to believe that you had no openings on your calendar at all. My review is not about your cleaning service; it's about how poorly you handled a potential new customer. The comparison to Valentine and Christmas is not rude if you know anything about Canlis Restaurant and LOL Surprise Dolls. My point is to show things that are really in high demand; cleaning service is not one of them. There are many providers to choose from; people don't have to wait in line. We've been using TCS bi-weekly for just over 3 years. Pamela is super personable and accommodating and she quickly responds to my messages. The TCS crew does an awesome job cleaning our house! They pay attention to the details and clean things I wouldn't have even thought about like scrubbing the coffee pot, and cleaning breadcrumbs out of the toaster, and dusting above doorframes. They even clean our sliding glass doors! The crew is usually 3 people so they work quickly and efficiently and I love coming home to my house smelling and looking great! Pamela and her team have been cleaning my house twice a month for over a year. She is very reliable and professional - she checks in via text each time the day before and is very responsive and easy to communicate with. I have a large house with teenager boys, a dog and a part time AirBnB business, and my house is always sparkling clean after her team comes through. They work hard and don't cut corners in cleaning, and I also appreciate how nice, honest and flexible they are. Today I had a situation where my dog tracked muddy paw prints all over my downstairs carpet. I had planned on spending time this weekend tackling this problem. Pamela hand scrubbed out the paw prints when they came to clean, which was really above and beyond expectations and I'm sure took her a lot of extra time.
