We contracted to purchase a $2M home in Glenrock (Summerlin). It was riddled with over 20+ 2x6 studs along the exterior, in water or wet areas and the ceiling at framing. Conspicuous mold. Toll attempted to remediate but failed. They engaged a mold company to come in during a rainy day during framing to take picture and measure mold levels. They were very high to say the least. Toll shaved down many of the 2x6 studs then requiring 2-4 shims on each - the stud grew more mold. Without remediating it all, they closed it in with drywall. Thankfully, we hired a home inspector who specialized in framing and also had a background w/ several builders including Toll. We were concerned with the structural integrity given the shaved beams, and the revisiting of mold in 12+ months after closing. It was not worth it. Toll acted like a corporate martyr instead of fully fixing or eradicating the conspicuous mold. We cancelled - and Toll provided all of our funds back. read more

We went to look at some TB homes out in Summerlin LV and I have to say they are absolutely stunning. They think of everything and the attention to detail is flawless! We went to their Mesa Ridge community and looked at some of their newer model homes. We got some free water lol. The only slightly negative thing I would say that I noticed when going into the sales office is the fact that they size you up immediately when you walk through the doors. Some of them automatically pre-judged you and decided if you're worth talking to in depth.... such as, the maybe you can afford to be there talk or hell no, you're wasting my time talk and can't afford these. I can't say I blame them to be honest. They're trying to sell their lots but then again you should treat everyone like a future paying customer because you just never know. Regardless of that, Toll brothers is still one of our top builders on our list in LV and the water was good. The sales agent Craig that we spoke with was great! read more

I purchased a Toll Brothers model home in Inspirada that is 3 years old. The previous owner bought it as a vacation home and was only there a handful of times. The house is essentially brand new. I submitted several service requests that were all denied. I know some of the requests I sent were true repairs, so I would've been very thankful if they handled them. But there were a few that were true bad building / bad quality and not wear and tear items. They did send someone out to "evaluate" the service requests, but I felt more like just to say they "evaluated it" because the guy couldn't have cared less. Their customer service is terrible. No one seems to care. The only ppl that do care are the sales ppl trying to get you to purchase a home. read more

Worst experience! We closed on the new house 8 months ago and they're still not done with promised fixes we aggreged during the closing. During the first 5 months, we now have several major issues like, shower leaking downstairs, a lot of leaking faucets, hvac, leaking sinks, doors not aligned, leaking , lighting, landscaping. you name it, mostly have problems. They had to replace the whole shower floor on the 2nd floor coz it's leaking through the 1st floor ceiling. It's been 3 months now and they're still not done. They installed the new tile in the shower but all different wrong shades/colors of the tile. Their not organized. It's a frustrating experience since building the house till now, 8 months after closing. read more

We purchased a new Toll Brother home in Henderson, NV in 2016. They build amazing quality homes. We have had no issues until recently. We discovered a roof leak after almost ten years of owning the home. I guess in Nevada, roofs are only guaranteed a year after being built. When I called Toll Brother's customer services department, they informed me of the guarantee limits however, they would send someone out to take a look. They assessed the leak and sent a roofer to repair the leak, an environmental company to make sure there was no mold and finally a drywall company to repair the damage. I did not have to pay a dime for all these services. They did not have to do a single thing for me. Their customer care team was excellent. They stand behind their homes. I would 100% recommend and buy another Toll Brother home in the future. read more

We bought our lot the day the community opened at Acadia Ridge in Summerlin. I saw how much the house values went up at other communities after the first release and years later as resales. Mario was an excellent construction super and we had our house done with a respectable date of delivery. Our customer service agent Eric was outstanding in our first year. I was in never in any doubt that any issue we brought up was not going to be addressed. He was personable, knowledgable, and was able to fix any errors in our new house. I am very happy with our new build. I have had 3 other new builds and this was by far the best experience. Toll Brothers has quality construction. My MIL shared that my husband's grandfather poured foundations for the company on the first homes in the 60s for Bruce and Robert Toll in the Philly area. How crazy is that?! Went to Regency at Summerlin for a tour and made it 15 minutes before closing. We were warmly welcomed at the gate and then proceeded to the models. Despite our late arrival (we just landed and had to get our rental) sales consultant Victor Guerrero took the time to answer our questions, even though we didn't have an appointment. He even recommended a place for dinner! While we're still a few years away from making the decision to move from San Diego, the experience left us with a great impression of Toll Brothers. I signed the contract but decided to walk away before they handed me the keys one year after. I was disappointed because everything looked very cheap in that million dollar home when they cut corners. New home-build quality standards are low for Toll Brothers. Don't do it. We purchased a home in Florida from Toll Brothers. Yes, it looks beautiful when viewing. However, the problems began as soon as we moved in. It's taken months for them to get all the items on our punchlist fixed. In fact, we still have several that are not fixed after 4 months. The HVAC upstairs unit never worked, and we were told by the repair technician that the units are the cheapest that Carrier makes, and that it has a life of 6-7 years before it will have to be replaced. I purchased a Toll Brothers home, in Las Vegas, about a year and a half ago. I'm giving them 2 stars for the customer service people I dealt with. We had one informational issue while selecting our lot, but it was soon corrected. During the build, our sales lady, Gloria, was simply awesome. After we moved in, our warranty managers, Manny and Terrance, were great. Beyond that, this "luxury builder" delivered us a home with many issues. This is my 3rd (new build) home in Las Vegas and, by far, had the most issues. The majority of the issues were caused by the sub-contracted companies and their workers. One company would come in and do their job; then, the next company would come in after them to do their job. Those guys would have NO concern for the previous work done and would cause damage. With so many phases to building a home, this just created a number of compounding issues... many scratched windows, damaged countertops, scratched/chipped flooring, etc. There were also just plain quality issues and poor workmanship. We asked them to fix a window sill because it was very un-level, which became very apparent when we had our shades installed. We've had numerous repairs to our cabinets, baseboards needed to be redone, HVAC issues, sliding glass doors didn't slide well, the alarm panel wasn't installed where we requested it and couldn't be moved after building was done. I could go on and on, but there were about 60 repair items up until this review. By the way, DO NOT go with Piedrafina countertops! They look very nice, but the durability is horrible. If you leave simply water on the surface of it for too long, it will etch the finish. My son is a bit messy when washing his hands so his soap pump usually has water under the base of it. There is now a shape of the pump etched into the finish of his counter. My daughter uses a facial cleanser. She gets few drops on the counter here and there when using it. Now there are numerous drops etched into her countertop. A guest was using the sink in the guest bathroom and was a bit messy with the water. We didn't notice until a week later and now that countertop has tons of water marks etched into the surface. Piedrafina is a horrible material that I wish the lady at the design center warned us about. There were quite a few times where workers would show up to repair something, and they would "complete" their work with "that's the best I can do". A lot of times, workers would show up to repair something and they would proceed to convince us to not complete the repair because they might make it, or something around it, worse. So, we were left with... that has to be good enough. Our HVAC system was making a very high pitched noise. I asked that it be fixed. Two guys came out to tell us there was nothing they could do about it... it was supposed to make that sound. A third guy came out, for a different HVAC issue. He heard the noise, changed something in the attic, and got rid of the noise. We have 8 foot glass panels in our master shower. One panel had a scratch. We asked them to replace it and, long story short, the guy broke the other panel trying to remove it. There was shattered glass everywhere. It created tons of damage to surrounding materials. It took Toll Brothers months to get all the repairs done. The shower glass company had to bring out 6 different glass panels, 6 different times, to finally bring a panel that didn't have some kind of defect in it. A part of this whole process included repairs to our shower floor that is medium stone pebbles with grout. It took that company 3 times to get the grout right because one time, they put down the wrong color. The 3rd time, they sent out Isreal Gamez and he completely reinstalled a whole new layer on the shower floor. Isreal was awesome and really did a great job. He said the initial installers just installed the flooring in the square sheets they come in. He took the time to separate every pebble and installed them individually. The shower floor looks way better than it it first did. The initial installation was just another example of the poor quality of work. I'm not sure what's more upsetting... the fact that a lot of the workmanship was subpar, or the fact that I was the one who had to do the quality control for almost everything. Definitely not an experience I expected when purchasing such a high-cost, luxury home. read more

We moved into our Toll Brothers home 16 months ago. Upon closing of the home, we met with the project foreman who went over what the home repair for construction mistakes and defaults would amount to. We had 30 days to make our list of mistakes, which we did, and filed it with their online system. There were about 20 items that needed to be fixed. Most of them still have not been fixed. When our 1 year anniversary was coming up, Toll advised us to put in the request for items that needed fixing. What? we did that already, but did it again. We also had a home inspection done (not by Toll). We were stunned to learn that there were 10 code violations, some of which were major. Only one has been taken care of. We paid for an upgraded fireplace only to realize that when turned on, it emits a strange odor. Toll came out to look at it, said nothing was wrong and they would not pay for a fireplace expert to inspect it. Because the odor is extremely strong, like something is burning (but it is an electric fireplace so what is burning?), we do not know if that odor is toxic or not. So we paid $$$$$ for something we cannot use. Other issues: the interior paint in the whole has streaks and lines in it. They will not fix it. Paint is pealing off the kitchen island. We've had the wood floors repaired 2 times and they still aren't fixed. And the list goes on and on. 2 windows that do not fit the frame. Over the past 16 months, Toll has made appointments with us for their repair crew to come to fix other items. We re-arrange our schedule for them and they don't show up. To try and call them or email them is a joke. No communication from them. I am going to seek advice from an attorney as well as filing a complaint with my State Contractors's Board for the code violations. DO NOT buy a Toll home! We are so sorry we did. One of the worse companies to deal with. my family and I were racially profiled by this company. Our sales agent Alison was horrible. Everything was good untill it was time to choose lot sizes. She kept in contact all the way until then . Lots get released she tried to give us a house we didn't want ask us to go see we declined because the area was terrible . She said our original lot was still not released yet. After that conversation we never heard anything else from her. EVER . Our realtor kept calling we kept calling and still nothing. Finally she called my realtor all most two weeks later and said the lot sold. I got on redin and the same house and lot is Available as of now. I called toll brothers to report her . We were sized up and down when we went to see the location we didn't want . She tried to tell us what to do with our money and our stocks. Just a horrible experience all together. Don't waste your time if you are a person of color. I will be filing a discriminatory lawsuit as well!! read more

we've been working with Toll Brothers on our new home purchase and needless to say we are super disappointed with the options we have been pigeon- holed in as we feel like they have monopolized on the options that are and that are not available. We are already under contract, and if we were not, I wouldn't make this purchase nor would I recommend it. its appalling! just an example... they offered us 1 color finish for our cabinet colors in our home, and any other color was an "upgrade", costing Thousands!! Negative stars if possible. Worst builder to deal with. Purchased our vacation home in Lake Las Vegas from toll brothers.the home is about 6 years old. Definitely very much under home warranty. Powder room Commode backed up and flooded storage area in our garage. Of course this happened at 3 am. Called pure plumbing who immediately sent someone out to fix the problem. Don from pure plumbing recommended we call quick response to clean up the water and rip out sheet rock etc. turns out Toll Bros installed a faulty flapper in the sewer drain. The licensed plumbers report clearly states that with photos to back up and yet Toll Bros is refusing to repair the damage. Not only that but just the process of even getting them to call back was a nightmare in and of itself. The lack of customer care and the complete lack of owning up to responsibility and the "warranty" is enough to never ever recommend this builder. Oh and when quick response opened up the ceiling to rip out insulation they found about six empty beer bottles. There's your Cracker Jack builder. Disgusting!! We are definitely pursuing this in small claims. We have had our repairs dine because that's just how we roll, but are pursuing this on principle. read more

While we were happy with the end result of the build the options were limited but they did manage to work with us on a few things. The real problem wasn't so much with the builders but the TBI lender they are affiliated with. They had 6 months to help us secure a loan. We were rushed into doing our walk throughs in April and it is now June and still haven't closed. They have chosen a lender Wellsfargo that seems to be in the business of not giving loans. I blame TBI for not preunderwriting our loan and getting everything in place. They seem to have zero clout with their lender and don't have any interest in going to bat for you. There is not sense of urgency and we have been lied to every step of the way. My reccomendation is to get your own financing. They are horrible to deal with. We were scheduled to close 6 weeks ago and have just had to switch to a private lender since they continued to string us along.The stress has been incredible.On the quality of workmanship I would give a 5 start rating, The options three stars and the TBI lender zero stars. read more
