They had to use 2 different types of flooring tiles since there was a shortage on one of them. This was fine as long as they kept each room consistent (only 1 type of tile per room/area). Well in 2 rooms there both tiles. Also, this could just be the fact that I've never had flooring installed by a company before, but there was so much glue all over the new floors. If this is normal then I suppose it's no big deal. If this is not normal, I would expect them to clean up their work. Not to me too that most of our boarders got removed during the process (which is fine). However, 5bey also removed boarders going up the wall along door frames, but not entirely so I have half finished door boarders in some rooms. They were also responsible for doing the subfloor but I think they just did this good enough. Since the sub floor wasn't even, the flooring isn't quite flat either. They never came back to properly finish the work despite many attempts to resolve this. They just left us in silence and we moved on from any more work here. Not trusting them with any more if the flooring came out this way. Needless to say. They're ok but leave a lot to be desired. Probably could've done just as good of a job myself if I wanted to spend a lot of time doing it, but it was much faster to get it done by them. Wouldn't have minded if they took an extra day to get everything done properly.

I came across this company as I saw they fully remodeled a home near me (that was recently sold) and their work and design looked good. So I gave them a call and Leo (estimator) was really honest and upfront about their process and more importantly gave me a good ballpark range of what I need to come in with for a full remodel. Also provided some ideas on breaking up the project in to phases (something I never thought about). Over the years, we had our stairs repaired multiple times because no one bothered to figure out what the underlying issues were. Jarrell took the time to get to the bottom of what the issues were and came up with the appropriate solutions. We weren't just looking for someone who can do the job, we were essentially looking for someone who can permanently fix the issues with our stairs. And that person was Jarrell. Of the handful of contractors we have previously hired and ultimately failed, Jarrell was the one and only person who delivered and actually understood the assignment. Upon making an initial appointment for an estimate with Jarrell, he did contact me to let me know that he was on his way. He was on time. As per my request, he did contact me upon arrival and remembered not to ring the doorbell. Jarrell provided multiple estimates that we could choose from. Each estimate clearly listed all of the work that would be done, so that we would all be on the same page. With his attention to detail, Jarrell had remembered to include tasks that we had previously discussed verbally in the estimates. More importantly, he did follow through and complete these said tasks. Meaning, he is on top of things and doesn't need to be reminded. Jarrell is a man of his word. Punctuality Punctuality was taken very seriously. Jarrell consistently showed up on time on the dates and times he announced he would be working on the stairs. Communication Jarrell always kept an open line of communication. He welcomed questions and concerns. With my experience with previous contractors, I've always found this to be lacking and a struggle. Therefore, I was pleased with Jarrell's forthcoming communication that lasted throughout the entire project. Transparency Jarrell was transparent about fees and costs. These were communicated in advance. He is honest and trustworthy. Respectful After each time Jarrell came to work on the stairs, him and Arlene cleaned up, this included sweeping and tidying up the garage. This may be deemed common practice, however, with our previous experience with other contractors, it actually isn't common practice. Jarrell and Arlene also had things put away neatly and organized. Garbage produced from the project was also removed from the premises. Craftsmanship The quality of his work speaks for itself. There is attention to detail and precision. You should know by now how unbelievably difficult it is to find someone like Jarrell in Las Vegas. After a miserable experience with insurance and multiple contractors, Tomer and the We Build It team saved the day...hell, saved the year for me! Amazing quality work, excellent communication and true partnership with me. I couldn't be happier. The Details: I returned home from a two week business trip to find a small puddle on my kitchen floor. I mopped it up and went to bed, only to find the same puddle there in the morning. I realized there may be a leak and called my insurance company (Liberty Mutual). Their process ensued, which resulted in an inspection, a remediation company with jackhammers, industrial fans and dehumidifiers - and all of the sudden my entire lower half of a kitchen needed replacement. I had never really been through this type of process before, and so I trusted my insurance company to guide me through. Liberty Mutual was awful by the way, but that's mostly a different story for a different review. The mitigation company was fine and I was interested in using them to do the repair, but they actually said they wouldn't because they wouldn't deal with Liberty Mutual's process for estimation and payout - a bleak sign of things to come. After remediation, Liberty Mutual instead sent a different contractor to do an estimate for the repair, which they used to calculate my claim amount. This was all fine with me and I figured I'd just use that company which did the estimate to also do the repair. But when it came time to do things like materials selection, that contractor refused, and said I need to pay a 40% non-refundable deposit before they'll work with me at all on those topics. They essentially positioned themselves to give me whatever materials, colors etc benefitted them for whatever reason vs what I preferred to have in my kitchen. That is basically how scams work, so I declined to work with them and at that point was out on my own looking for a contractor to do the repairs, hopefully within the budget that liberty Mutual paid out to me. That process was arduous and frustrating. I went through 3 different contractors who either wouldn't work with me on options and pricing before signing and paying a substantial deposit (again, scam) or who wouldn't deal with it at all because they knew that Liberty Mutual left significant items out of the estimate - and that Liberty Mutual is impossible to deal with on supplementing the payout as needed. Then finally I contacted We Build It, and sorry if this seems hyperbolic but they completely changed everything. Tomer was so incredibly patient with me at explaining options and listening to what I wanted in my kitchen. He was extremely flexible on materials acquisition, and gave me a lot of useful information on things that Liberty Mutual left out of the original payout. As important as anything, he treated me like a partner and truly cared that we got to the right outcomes. I was even able to use his inputs to successfully battle with Liberty Mutual to pay the real cost for items they left out. And he was honest - there was nothing overly inflated, but finally I got information that was accurate and fair. Finally, after 7 months at this point without a kitchen, we were able to get the work done. The quality and care his team took were top-class. I now finally have a kitchen, and again sorry to sound dramatic, a normal life and happy home once again. I would recommend We Build It to anyone in Las Vegas who needs an honest and reliable contractor who will ensure the project is done right. Tomer is a gem of a person and a great professional. Now if you want the cheapest go somewhere else but if you want the best quality and and workmanship these guys work hard and do the best job. I turned off the water line and made an emergency call to a plumber. The plumber came out and fixed the initial problem upstairs in my hallway bathroom, but showed me how water damage soaked through the bathroom flooring, the upstairs vanity, all the way downstairs through my kitchen pantry to the water socket. It was a total mess and he referred me to this company who as he explained was a One-Stop shop from start to finish. As advertised, they came in the very same day and ripped out all of the bad material, set up dehumidifiers, gave me estimates, put material on order and worked with me and my home insurance to get things back to new. Anna was wonderful, as she did all the scheduling and kept me informed of the the scope of the project and she handled all of the administrative process seamlessly. Daniel and his crew, Rami Eddie and Victor are absolute lifesavers! All were friendly, accommodating, very knowledgeable and true professionals. They were here promptly on the scheduled dates and all the repairs were completed expertly and expeditiously. I am so grateful for all of them and the hard work that they did. They could not understand what we wanted done and how to do it. Claims to be a carpenter...sorry man, but you ain't no carpenter! After mediation was completed, the technician installed and uninstalled the kitchen cabinets three times before coming close to getting it right. Total time to finish part of kitchen, small bathroom and coat closet - three months! Hell, whole houses can be done in that amount of time. They threw away existing pieces and parts and installed mismatched, wrong color, and ill fitting parts instead. All in all a nightmare to keep after them, cater to their irregular schedule, promised arrivals and work days. Beware!
