Superb work. I was kept up to date with the status of my vehicle, and walked me through the process of dealing with the insurance company.

I did some damage to the rocker panel and tires on my car ( my own doing!) . I have State Farm insurance and Tom and Jerry's was one of their preferred shops and it's 2 blocks from where I work and was highly recommended by a few co workers . I brought my car in one morning to get assessed. It was drivable and I picked it up later that day. They ordered all the parts and 3 days later I dropped it off to get repaired. Within 24 hours, everything was repaired perfectly. The whole experience couldn't have gone any smoother. Don and Ian were a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend this place. Everything you hear and read about these guys is 100% truth. I've had my fair share of encounters with repair shops and TJs is up there if not #1. I was semi discouraged from the initial repair shop I visited that really tried to pull one over on me with the initial estimate process. Defeated but also relentless, I took a deep breath and had faith I'd find a good and reputable shop within the area associated with my insurance. My first encounter with Ian was nothing short of professional and helpful. He got me in within the hour, got the estimate done within a half hour and scheduled repairs a week out. Simple. They didn't keep too much in contact during the repairs process but were helpful whenever I checked in. I also beat them to the punch a lot with follow ups. Expectations were clear and the repairs done were nothing short of phenomenal. I really like their layout inside as well with pamphlets explaining the process and your right to choose your own repair shop. Something I had issues with in the beginning. "No charge" saying it was his "good deed of the day." I still paid him a lil something but so appreciated a kindness when and where I least expected it. The touch up job was great. I had just got a new (to me) car and had it about a month. I saw a girl walking an adorable German Shepard pup, and WHAM, parked car jumped out of nowhere. I was sure, the cops who did the report were sure, and the tow truck driver were all sure, it was going to be totaled. Car went over to Tom and Jerry's after a suggestion from my mechanics at NAS, and they said, no worries, we can fix this right up. They did and the car looks and runs wonderfully. This review has been overdue since last July 2020, I was going through some of my receipts recently and totally forgot the bad experience I had here. They have so many good reviews and was the main reason I went to them not sure what happened. But I brought my car in to get my front bumper fixed from a bump at the shopping center. Seemed like a quick fix but upon pick up and driving it home I noticed my air conditioner wasn't running well, blowing hot air. I asked the advisor whom I was working with it if the bumper had come off during the paint job and he said no, thought maybe something was crossed when they put it back. Car was still under warranty so I took it to the dealer and sure enough all the ac lines in the bumper were crossed and shorted out the fuses. I had to pay quite a bit out of pocket for the repairs bc they won't cover damage under warranty and my insurance company added the costs to my final bill to reimburse me. Not to mention all the time wasted leaving the car at the dealership and waiting until they could get me in and having no ac in the middle of summer. Then I asked the insurance company if they can view any videos of the bodyshop work while the car was there and they said they could bc by law every certified body shop has to video their work they said. Sure enough again, the video showed the bumper being pulled off and being worked on - they clearly lied to me. The quality of work was decent thus the 2 stars but don't like being lied to. Also, I noticed the ash tray in the door handle was broken when I got back and some gum wrapper in there...I'm very leary about their procedures and ethics. I will not be going back for future repairs. read more

I went into Tom and Jerry's today because I hit a piece of metal and it hit the side of my car causing several small scratches. I spoke to Matthew, who came out and looked at the damage, I had touch up paint and Matthew touched up the scratches while I waited. As my car has a two stage paint so he told me to come back in several hours and he would do second coat. I returned in several hours and Matthew came out immediately and applied second coat of paint again while I waited. He did an excellent job both times. When I asked what I owed him for his work he said there was no charge. I asked several times to pay but he refused. I would highly recommend Tom and Jerry's to anyone who needs repairs. I would not take my car to anyplace else. read more

Took my car here for an insurance repair after a moderate front end collision. Mechanical and body repair was done well, all panels were lined up well. Paint color match was decent but not perfect. Under direct sunlight you can easily tell the difference between old and new. After receiving the car back heard a rattle in the driver's door, saw that the front grill was not attached fully, and heard creaking from the windshield. I took it back and they removed whatever was rattling in the door and fixed the grill, but they told me the windshield was fine and was not creaking. Must be in my head. Also, my headlights were not aligned properly, and one side was much higher than the other. When I pointed it out, they explained to me that one side is supposed to be higher than the other. I looked up the alignment spec and of course, they are supposed to be level. So I leveled them myself in less time than it took me to drive over, complain about it and get lied to. Much later, I lifted my window switch, and the whole panel came up out of the door. I found that a snap/tab was broken off, and replaced with a black tar type substance similar to old chewing gum. I realized the rattle inside my door was the broken tab, and they tried to fix it by using a wad of "chewing gum" rather than replacing the broken part. This is not how repairs should be done or how customers should be treated and I don't recommend anyone go to this shop. read more

Recently, my daughter's insurance forced us to go elsewhere. After postponing our delivery date three times, they finally called and told us to come get it. But it was not ready and an hour later we drove off in a damp, poorly washed car. (Class act that they were, the guy washed the car with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Hey, they're only ashes.) Yet after 20 years and more than a dozen dings, I have never had a bad experience at Tom & Jerry's. I stopped in one day to have the lock on my trunk fixed. Owner Tom took a look at my trunk and said let me pull it in. He worked on it personally with one of his guys and 20 min later, I had my trunk lock fixed. very cool and professional and friendly service. best part that i didn't even expect was after i asked him what i owed he waved me off and said don't worry about it! My car was parked outside of my house and got sideswiped. While the other car got the brunt of the damage, my car had about $3500 worth of damage and was not drivable. Huge bummer and major inconvenience. My boyfriend's family has been using Tom & Jerry's Auto for years, and so I wasn't hesitant at all to use them. What made it even better was that it is a State Farm Approved shop, so my insurance and Tom & Jerry's worked together without needing me as a go-between. Tom was super helpful and nice on the phone when initially giving me the estimate, and told me it the car would be ready by Dec. 19th. It is now December 18th (the car was ready yesterday, but I couldn't get it until today), and I am back in my beloved car with it looking better than before the hit. Tom met me at the door early this morning before I had to go to work, remembered exactly who I was, and I was back in my car within 10 minutes of arriving. The parts took a bit longer to come in and required a lot more work than was anticipated but the car looks better than new and the finish on the new parts is indistinguishable from the rest of the car.
