I took my car to Four Star Auto Bar after I was hit by another car. They did a great job of repairing the damage that was done. It looks like a new car. The owner and manager had to spend a lot of time haggling with the other driver's insurance company to get everything fixed right and paid for but it was all worth it in the end. I liked the job they did so much I had them fix some other scratches on my car and paid for it myself. I would definitely go back there to have work done on any vehicle I own. Four Star also gently touched up some other scratches on my front bumper, even though I wasn't paying for it, since they had extra paint on hand after finishing my bumper. Those spots may not be perfect, but for free, they're a whole lot better than nothing! Work was completed quickly (less than three days). Amazing success here. Well earned reputation from my experience to date. The manager, Steven, was incredibly honest, fair, and so accommodating. Was looking for someone to fix something in my built turbo toy convertible as well as some further work if the first item could be handled well. Someone attempted to steal my convertible and pried out the rubber button for the keyless entry system lock/unlock on the handle - drivers side. The dealership gave me the run around and told me I needed a list of new parts including a new handle and all the attendant labor to simply fix the button 'switch'. Was told that it could not simply be replaced otherwise. I researched the single part I needed replaced and sourced an aftermarket rubber (waterproof) "switch" for the interior electronic lock inside the handle ($12.00 part delivered to my door) and considered attempting to install it myself. My concern was that if I broke clips removing the door panel or interior pieces getting to the handle then this was definitely going to turn into the expensive endeavor I was trying to avoid and I might indeed end up spending $1000 at the dealership. So I set about finding a professional to do it and brought it to a high end body shop I've previously used and they essentially said it was too small of a job and that they were too busy (which is fair). After much research, I found Four Star Auto Body and decided to swing by and get a feel for them and also see if they'd take care of it. Steven, the manager, could not have been more helpful and even though they were busy, he said if I could come back later and wait perhaps about an hour or so then they'd see if they could get it fixed in a small window of time they had later in the day. Came back later and voila , the car was fixed perfectly in 30 min. Perfectly! It's close to the time for me to store it for winter but I am going to be doing some other paintwork (front respray) and other custom body work and paint which I'm now getting an itemized quote on for the coming Spring. Huge thanks to Joe, the tech, who pulled it all apart, replaced the rubber 'switch' inside the handle and put it all back together superbly. Full disclosure , Joe also discovered another issue while in the door (from the factory no less) and addressed that too! I have to say that one cannot ask for better service and professional excellence. One just cannot. Courteous, knowledgeable, more than fair, and stellar workmanship to date. Brought my car here after some parts fell off a truck on the highway causing front end damage to my car. I was concerned about matching the tri coat paint because a previous shops work was unsatisfactory. After talking to Joe he told me that they could do much better for sure . Additionally he told me we could save some money if we opted to repair the front nose instead of getting a a new piece . I was paying out of pocket for this one so it was a big deal . Later he called be and said some additional parts were damaged , but it probably would be ok to use them as he would secure them differently . Saved me an additional $800 on Parts ! When we picked up the car he told us he repaired some minor damage on the other side of the car for N/C . The paint match was great and the car looked great. Joe and his crew did a phenomenal job repairing a number of door dings and scratches on our Acura MDX. My sister is a teacher at a local school and her doors have taken a beating in the parking lot, with a number of door dings and scratches at the least ideal places such as body lines.
