During these recent cold days, we had to finally face the oil change we've been neglecting. Typically we're on top of it but with so many changes and being new to Park Ridge, we've had to start a new Rolodex. With Atlas, they let me come in an hour after I called, around 9am and my car was ready by noon. They had also addressed a tire issue last minute and didn't nickel and dime me for it. What a genuine and compassionate auto body shop! Chris, the owner is seriously the nicest and most down-to-earth person to work with And...the prices are incredibly fair I got something in my tire and was worried it would go flat. He told me to bring it in and he'll look at it. Right away he called and said fortunately it'll just need a plug ($25). Then he said I'm just letting you know your rear breaks are at about 5% (which I knew) but front are ok for now. I had him change my breaks and he had it all done within 2-3 hours. I haven't been there yet. I guess maybe I should have asked to speak to Marco. I tried 2 separate times to bring my car there. The first time they said they were busy. This time, I called today, Friday to see if I could bring my car in tomorrow. I was put on hold while the person went to see what the schedule looked like. He asked me what I needed done . I explained it was emission related. When he came back he said the soonest he could look at it was Tuesday, I work till 5:30 every day so that won't work. He also said they don't do any diagnostic work on Saturdays. I was very disappointed because I saw good reviews on the shop but unfortunately I will be going elsewhere. I would have expected them to try to be a little more accommodating. Oh well. read more
