I've done ziplines in many places on this planet and this was a certainly unique one! Not only did the kids in attendance get free T-shirts but Dane and Kevin really added some Jamaican spirit to our instruction. I really enjoyed the experience: each of the 7 ziplines was great and It all felt very safe and fun! While I chose this company due to the size range it accommodated (including my kid and my spouse) I was very happy to learn that they could even handle smaller kids. My kid had a blast and my spouse was so enthusiastic also. Picking a beautiful day weather-wise helped too. They had ample free water in between routes. As a heads up there are a LOT of stairs involved! Good workout though! read more

This was my littles first time doing a real outdoor zipline and she loved it. They have an ample parking lot for you to park and when you first arrive, you either buy your tickets or pick up your tickets that you purchased on-line at the ticket booth. You then fill out a waiver, are given a helmet with a go-pro for your group and then get you equipment (gloves, harness, and helmet). Don't forget your closed toed shoes for this attraction. All the available staff helps get the patrons suited up. They check and double check before they send you off. They have a little tiki bar with bar seating and tables and chairs that is located next to where you get your equipment that offers tropical frozen drinks and kid's slushies in souvenir cups. You can hang out there before or after your tour. Once everyone is set, they drive you to a practice cable where they go over how to zip line. After that, you are off to the first of 7 towers. Some of the lines go over water and you will have to climb a bunch of stairs along the way. If you have difficulty with stairs, you may want to sit this one out. There is no way round them. The third line is the picture line, where they get a picture of you coming down the zip line and lines 6 and 7 and dual lines where you can race someone to the end. About half way through, they take a few group photos and have a water break. The guides really make the trip. They had my little and I looking like pros. Shot out to Adam, Andrew, and Avayie. They were awesome. They brought energy, spirt and a sense of humor/wit with them. At the end of your tour they will offer to sell you the video from your Go pro they gave a member of your group and any photos they took of you out there (on line 3 and group photos between line 3 and line 4). There is no pressure to buy anything. You can just leave after you are done. I will say that these guys work for tips and they really earn them. They worked hard to make sure that me and my little had an enjoyable experience. WIth that being said, please bring some cash with you so that you can leave them a little something, if you desire. My little and I really enjoyed our experience. She already cannot wait to go again. I highly recommend this attraction. They do offer bundles with some of their other attractions (jet boat, ducks, ropes course), but this one is the best one in my opinion. read more

Adam and Tee Jay were great guides! They were patient with my inability to figure out the break until the 5th line- better late than never, I guess. They made the experience really fun (even though I was still terrified. A few things about the adventure: They give you a go-pro to attach to your helmet, take pictures that you can purchase later and provide water breaks along the way. There are a total of 7 lines, and the last 2 are tandem. Line #6 is the tallest and longest. There are several lines over water. Please keep in mind that you will climb a total of 758 stairs up the towers. Customer service at the front/check in was not good- chaotic and distracted. read more

Starting out with the good things about this course, that included multiple ziplines. It was well maintained, and fun; however, there were a few issues that I think are important as follows: Staff: I understand the need to get people from outside this country since there very few potential employees that live in the area, but I would think that this business would at least hire people that actually understood American English and spoke clearly as opposed to mumbling incoherently. Also, speaking to some of the guides, I found that they had only been trained for one-to-two weeks, Seriously? Videography: Having used my GoPro to video multiple adventures, I called and asked the staff if the helmets that they provided for the course were so equipped to where a GoPro camera could be attached. They answered in the affirmative, but upon arrival, I was told that they did not have such attachment, but for $35, I could use their video equipment and the videos would be provided to me. That is called bait and switch, and is a bad business practice, Initial Training: This was my grandson's first ziplining experience, but I have ziplined multiple times and am fully versed in the practice to include safety training. Generally, the people leading the experience demonstrate the required safety practices and allow one or two people to demonstrate their understanding. That did not happen, which is a major safety concern. Course Safety: Safety issues were addressed as the tour progressed and I saw some issues that I had to call out to the guides. read more

I highly recommend Dawkins and Tyreek. They were amazing. My 10 year old was apprehensive at the first tower but they made him feel completely comfortable. The tour is the perfect length. It didn't take too much time off the clock for our water park fun either. read more

I took my wife & nine-year-old daughter to Bigfoot Ziplines and Ropes Corse on a bit of a spontaneous whim and we had a wonderful time. Day 1 - Ropes Course; Day 2 - Ziplines. Our guides, Nicc and Tyler, did such a great job of keeping it safe, being funny and informative and just being so great with the kids and the group that we were with was very fun. The seven zip lines were such a thrill was just a lot of variety to it and I really recommend it for families and for people that just wanna have a fun safe & thrilling time here in Wisconsin Dells. My daughter wants to make I mention the last 2 zip lines are side-by-side racing (pro tip - if you go head first with arms to your side like a human torpedo it can help you beat another dad who's in a heavier weight class). Finally, I can't say enough about Nicc & Tyler our guides. They truly turned the experience from good to great. read more

Excellent experience!! They were very helpful- We missed our time spot due to unforeseen circumstances and they made arrangements so that my son and I got our own private tour. Our guides were Emily and Adam! They were great! They were both patient and understanding and made it a fun and tremendously enjoyable experience! Bigfoot Zipline is awesome! It was my first time ziplining and I was quite nervous. The staff, especially our guides, were great. They were funny, entertaining and I still felt they had our safety as a number one concern. All the guides seemed very knowledgeable, friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. This says a lot about a business - employees need to be happy! The ziplines themselves are great. They offer variety - long distance, height, over water and tandem. The stairs can be a bit daunting but there is a rest between "zips" and a water break. The area is also gorgeous and typical Wisconsin - which is a good thing! We did purchase our photos and I would recommend purchasing these. We usually don't but made the exception here! At first the price may seem high, but is it not. It is very comparable to others and definitely worth it. :-) read more

To Rush & Nickolla, thank you so much for completely squashing my fears and making my first Zipline Tour the best part of visiting the Dells! Big foot Zipline was not only a great park to tour, but they obviously hire great people to help you have a very fun, safe, fearless time! I loved these guides' energy and the jokes helped keep me calm and laughing the whole time! My 11 year old son said it was the best Zipline he's ever done and can't wait to go back! They gave him a free shirt for completing the course (and because he was under 12 years of age) and I thought that was pretty cool! We definitely left them a tip and hope that they only get gifted with more love as they take families and friends on a fun ride of a lifetime! With it being open all year long, including days like today where it's a little bit chillier we were the only ones in our group and were able to take our time and enjoy the experience! Sydney and Trevor were awesome! By far the best tour guides we've had all week! The ziplines were a lot of fun and well worth the price of admission. We went at 10AM on a Tuesday and had a smaller group, only 4 people, so the entire tour lasted just over an hour. It looked like the group behind us had about twice as many people, so I imagine it took them a bit longer to get through the entire course. My one tip is dress for the walks in between lines and not for the lines themselves. We went on a beautiful 65-70° sunny day, I wore shorts and a longsleeve shirt, my dad wore jeans and a flannel. I was a little sweaty by the end but my dad was soaked in sweat! read more

My husband, mother and I decided to go to the Dells to celebrate my 40th birthday, specifically with ziplining in mind. We chose Bigfoot because they offered great packages to do more than just one thing and at a discounted price. From the ticket booth, to the zip lines, to the food court, to the bar, to the duck boats... EVERYONE was so nice to us. We had Seth as our Duck Boat Captain and he kept us laughing and intrigued the whole ride. He even spent a bit of time talking with us about himself and motorcycles (our passion) after the ride had ended. He could have rushed us off but he didn't. The biggest shout out goes to Sameer and Dawkins at the Zip Lines!! My husband and I are both afraid of heights and my husband was terrified. Sameer took his time with my husband at every tower to calm him, explain everything in detail and build his confidence that he could do it again. Before long he was trying tricks and free falls and we owe it all to those two amazing men! I know that we would have had a good time regardless because this establishment seems to pride themselves on customer service and positive experience but I am certain that it wouldn't have been quite the same with anyone other than Sameer and Dawkins. Thank you both for making this 40th birthday experience one of the greatest!! The only complaint I have would be the prices at the bar. We ordered two mixed drinks and a beer and the price came to $31. These were not the tall drinks with the souvenir glasses that they advertise either. Just standard plastic glasses. I understand that prices are marked up at places like this and I do not mind but $31 is astronomical. You can do better with that Bigfoot. All in all, we would go again and we would recommend this place to all of our friends. Just beware, if you're going to zip line, climbing the stairs of each tower is the worst part. HA! :) read more

Made a last minute trip to Wisconsin Dell's after purchasing a Groupon for zip lining. So glad we did! Purchased package for two 13 year old boys, they had a blast. Loved the "tour guides", had a wonderful adventure and can't wait to go back again! For the guests that come along and dont partake in the adventures here are some things to note: the atmosphere is perfect, plenty of seating; however, it is a LONG wait! Our reservation was for 3pm and the boys didn't get back until after 6:30! Fun for them but not during there doing nothing! There is a gift shop/snack stand with minimal items and a tiki bar that wasn't open which may have been more fun. If you have small children that are waiting with you while others are zip lining, I recommend leaving and coming back - it's just to long and boring! Back to the actual zip lining, by the time the boys returned they were zip lining up side down! Looked like they had been doing it for years! Pictures were great! read more

I have been to Wisconsin Dells couple of times and every time we went I wanted to try this. And finally my Husband and I had a little getaway just the two of us and he spoiled me and we finally did the Big Foot Zip lining! Awesome experience!! Our Guides were Jake and Tyler and they were awesome! Pretty funny guys and they kept us laughing all the time! There are 7 ziplines and it took us about 2 Hours to complete them all. Make sure your wearing gym shoes and you are hydrated! There is soooo many, I mean sooooooo many stairs you have to go through. I realized how much I am out of shape! Lol Besides that, the experience is really cool! Not scary at all and once you go on the first one, the rest of the Ziplines are much easier to do! You get a break after the 3rd zipline with some water. I really liked this experience! read more

I got a groupon for my wife and me to do zip line here. We didn't know what to expect but afterwards, we definitely enjoyed it. First, we got fitted into harness and helmet. Next, our guides rode a bus with us to the first zip line route. There are a total of 7 lines which started small to larger drops. Each stop had a water break in between while our guides chatted with us. I think that this will be something that we will always remember. I only wished that we got photos of us but forgot to check the photo booth afterwards. If you make it out here, then definitely you should try this out. I loved the water crossings down the zip lines and also got a chance to ride along with the guide at full speed. read more

Our whole family went zip-lining Tuesday Aug. 3rd. Including our little man Zeppelin, who's 3yrs of age! He did all 7 courses and had a blast! Our tour guides Lara and Dawkin were absolutely amazing, informational, hilarious and helpful when it came to zeppelin. They went down the line with him at all times and made sure he was safe. I highly recommend 10/10 for this attraction and if you have the chance request them as your guides! They deserve the tip! I would definitely revisit again! Thank you so much for our family memories! HIghlight of our visit to the Dells. Our son, Parker (age 6) loved it. Quite a bit of climbing for a young kid, but doable. Jamar and Shanae made this tour. Parker's still talking about his buddy Jamar. We all loved it. read more

Great time! The guides (DillonK and Rasheed) were TOP NOTCH and made sure everyone on the tour had a great experience. The facilities are great and the equipment is well cared for and clean. I took my own GoPro and they went out of their way to accommodate me with the helmet mount. Great experience, not cheap, but we were able to get the combo deal for the duck boats for our family who were scared to go ziplining, so that softened the blow a bit. Highly recommended as a great way to spend a couple of hours in the Dells. read more

SHOUT OUT TO NICK AND RAHEEM BEST ZIPLINE GUIDES EVER! This is a must-do while visiting the Dells. Great experience, great staff and worth every penny. Only downside.... over 900 stairs in total to complete all ziplines!!! Unless you're into that. read more

Our tour guide Zac was super friendly and made the trip enjoyable. The zip line courses were all very fun and unique. The price was a bit steep, but considering that there were 7 different lines that made the adventure last about 3+ hours, it was worth it. The only suggestion/complaint that I had was that the pictures and videos were all very expensive. It would've been nice to have one picture included in the cost of the course, and more than one picture at an additional cost. All in all it was a blast! read more

I think taking your family here is a good activity to do. I had such a fun time it was a really great experience. I advice going first in the morning so it's not to hot and you usually have less people so it's not crazy. On the other hand 2 of the zipline Instructers were pretty good looking Nicc & Jonty and both very kind and funny I enjoyed my visit and would love to back sometime!! read more

Man this was my first time Zip Lining and man did I have the time of my life!!!!! I went with my fiancé (who's been plenty of times already) and we had a great group of people that we went with! We had great instructors Emily and Raheem so needless to say I became a pro by the end of our session!! We did the Wild Jet Boat ride the day before and Zip Line the following day! It was worth EVERY penny! Lol and Btw Emily and Raheem deserve a raise for their awesome personalities and teachings! Whoop whoop! read more

Got a groupon and wasn't sure if this was going to be worth it for 4 but it was wonderful…read more Two kids (9 and 7) came along. We had our doubts about the kids but in the end it was fine. Orientation was a bit over the kids heads but they got it through real-life application. The obstacles started easy and gained in difficulty. Not a lot of zip line but fun obstacles. Jack, Nick and Ryan were great. At one point the 9 year old wanted to bail on the obstacles and Ryan gave a pep talk and she finished the course. We paid and extra $10 for the high line zip line. It was well worth it. Note go before your kids on the obstacles so you can help them hit the landing pads and get set up for the next adventure.

The website explained that it was a tablet directed quest game and would take about an hour. However, that's out of date. The time allotted for a single game was two hours. Be warned when setting the parking meter! Basically there are four "realms" that each offer quests. When you see a tablet, you can choose to interact with it and accept or deny a quest. You can accept the quest via your group's tablet by selecting the appropriate symbol. Then the wild goose chase begins. Clues send you all over the place to talk to characters and collect the virtual items. Up stairs, through secret passages, tunnels and more. Rarely did we encounter teams that were following the same quest at the same time we were so that was great. As crowded as it got in certain areas, we were all kind of doing our own thing. I believe there were around 16 quests that could be completed, all with varying levels of difficulty and length of time to complete. We made it through 4, and part way through another in our two hours. I was amazed by the level of detail that went into the planning and decoy of this game and all the rooms. It was more interactive than I had anticipated and also tiring! But what a fun afternoon. I'd love to go into more detail but I don't want to spoil anything. The price was fair for the experience and I highly recommend coming here. I am definitely planning another road trip back!

Not for the faint of heart…read more I have mixed feelings. We went around 11am on a rainy day during spring break. There was a line. It wasn't super long, but it was slow moving because they give each family their tablet and explain how things work. Waiting in a slow line is really hard for kids when they are super excited. I wish the people at the desk just sold tickets and that they had someone in the starting room explain the tablets to a group at a time to speed things up. Some people behind us in line bought tickets in advance online and were annoyed that they had to stand in the same ticket line as everyone else. Buying tickets online does not expedite things at all. There was no line when we left, so maybe late afternoon is a better arrival time. Overall, the design of the questing area is very cool. There is a lot to explore, and there are lots of fun details and secret passageways to explore. My kids are age 7 and 9 and really enjoyed it overall. As a parent, 2 hours was way too long for younger kids. It would have been perfect for teens and adults, but it is way too long for younger kids. We're pretty fit, and we were exhausted by the end because there is a lot of walking and going up and down the stairs. We were also carrying our kids coats and umbrellas as we didn't see the lockers until the end. Tip; Ditch any gear before questing. There are very few places to sit and take a break along the way. This would be a very poor choice attraction for anyone with mobility issues or anyone who can't handle a lot of walking. I wouldn't bring grandparents along on this adventure. We ended up taking a break in the snack area, and they paused our quest, so taking a break wouldn't count towards the 2 hours. I wish we didn't pause the quest because we ended up deciding we were done after 90 minutes of questing time, but 2 hours of being there, and our kids did not want to leave time on the clock. As a parent, this was a lot. My kids were SO excited to find things and explore, but I felt a bit stressed because there are lots of passageways and secret doors, and any time another family exposed some secret entrance, they immediately wanted to run through it. I had to be on high alert to avoid losing them to their impulses to go through any secret passages they stumbled upon. I read everything on their website, some online reviews, and watched videos about Wizard Quest, but I wish I had more info going into this about what to expect. We finished 3 quests. We would have to come back multiple times to complete everything. That would have been nice to know going into it to manage kid expectations. People in larger bodies might have a hard time navigating certain areas because some passages are quite narrow. There are 3 levels. We never made it to the fire area in the basement, and I feel like most of our time was in the earth area. Tip:choose quests that start in different realms to explore different areas. There was a lot of walking back and forth, going back to places we already explored. I wish there was an option to tap for a hint in the app instead of asking the staff. We went inside the tree so many times. When my kids had trouble finding what they needed to complete the task, we had to circle around, come down, and loop around to ask for a hint and then go back up again (and again and again). The staff is helpful, but having to go in circles to get a hint was frustrating for younger kids. They wanted to finish the task and move on to explore new areas. I also wish there was a back feature in the app. When little kids tap through quest details quickly, They miss important information. Both kids had a blast and said it was 4 stars and want to go back. I had fun, but I also feel like I would wait several years before considering a return trip.

In the back of my mind, though, I was pretty convinced they were over-selling the enchantment. My friends, if anything, they were under-selling it. As my son who was with me shared after, 'it felt like we were dropped inside a Disney movie'. I couldn't have said it better myself. Beyond the magic, some logistical notes: The trail is wide and dirt/gravel. There are some slightly steep areas and so it's not entirely accessible. My elderly parents opted to skip it and after doing it that was the best call (between the dark, the sometimes slightly uneven ground, and the slightly steep areas, it would have been too much). There are also flashing lights if you're sensitive to that. The entire trail is roughly one mile so you could ostensibly be through with it in 20 minutes. That said, with all the light show magic, it took us just over an hour. There are benches here and there if someone needs a quick rest. I would seriously do this every time I come to the Dells. An absolutely above-and-beyond awe inspiring experience. Get to it!

It was a great idea because they're so close to each other. This very much reminded me of the China Lights experience in Milwaukee, but with a totally different vibe. If you are sensitive to moving lights, this is not for you. This place is only open in the evenings, when it's dark enough for the lights to be seen. They also use a lot of smoke so the lights have plenty to reflect off of for the show. Each 'spot' has about a 3-4 minute display, and it takes about 45 minutes to go through. At the beginning they have a concession stand, and as you're exiting there's a gift shop. Other reviews said this seemed pricy at $25/ person. I was glad it wasn't more expensive per person, but I could see how the flat rate entrance fees could deter some. I'm not sure if they change the theme or the displays each year, but if they do then that would be an awesome way to keep things fresh and bring back repeat guests.

That said, even though we were deep in the woods camping, there was plenty of civilization close by should we have needed to restock on anything. Since we had quite a big group, we booked a double-site and boy did we luck out. I think we had the largest double that was available. It fit two large RV/campers and five tents, leaving ample room for tons of chairs around the fire pit and the big picnic tables provided. Oh and they are *electric campsites* which can be hard to find! No water hook up though. Not too far down from our site was the big shower houses/bathrooms. And let me just say, these are NICE! Like very nice. And very clean. Probably the best campsite bathrooms I've ever seen. I feel as though the building was very new / freshly redone. Other pros: plenty of lake activities (we rented both kayaks and pontoon boats), great walking paths (freshly laid wood chips and clear signage), lakeside beaches, and various playgrounds for the kiddos. Oh and fun planned experiences by the park - it was "Smokey Bear's birthday" when we were there and they had a firetruck on-site, water games, bday treats, prizes, and a meet and greet with the bear himself. A hit with our kids. Even if you're not camping, this state park would be wonderful for a day trip!

Despite the illogical reasoning, we took the older ones without causing any issues and started riding. Ten minutes before the end, I was swapping the passenger behind me with another friend. Both of us stopped, and there was a distance of about 4 meters between us. The friend behind me jumped into the water and went to the other WaveRunner. Just at that moment, one of the employees was coming towards me at high speed. Unable to control his speed, he tried to veer to the right to avoid hitting me head-on but ended up colliding with me. The 16-year-old employee said we needed to return to the shore, so we did. He told everyone that I had hit him, even though myself and two friends witnessed the incident. I explained the situation, and two female managers came. Surprisingly, both of them accused me, as if they had witnessed the whole thing. Their only argument was that we shouldn't have been that close. I understood that point, but their employee shouldn't have approached me with such speed and shouldn't have hit me. Despite my efforts to explain, they blamed me unjustly. Then, another employee on the shore, who was more than 200 meters away from the incident, claimed to have seen me hitting the employee. This was an obvious lie and deception. Later, the girl at the reception inside the establishment claimed that I had asked her a question: "What happens in case of an accident?" I asked her to show the footage because I knew I hadn't asked her anything like that, but she said she didn't have the authority to access the cameras. When I got home, I saw that they had charged $1030 to my credit card. This is a robbery, a lie, and a slander. I strongly advise staying away from this place. I will do everything I can to get my money back. The document I signed does mention that I will be liable for any damages to the WaveRunner I rented, but there is no clause stating that their employee can come so close and even collide with me, and I have to pay for their expenses.

Tube and skis included. Beautiful area of the Wisconsin river. Highly recommend. We would return for sure.

Gilligan and Vaughn were entertaining and helpful. They didn't push, but were very good at coaxing as a few in our party of 9 were a little bit hesitant to zip line (to say the least). We were able to do tricks with Gilligan and Vaughn helping us each step of the way. Definitely made it more fun. My husband and I had zip lined in the Rocky Mountains of Whistler, British Columbia. This was definitely a different experience, but just as much fun! We had 3 children aged 4 and 6. They had a blast!!! As a parent, I was very apprehensive about letting my four year old take on the same zip line I was going to, but it was all done with professionalism and the experience of Gilligan and Vaughn put my mind at ease on the very first run. This is some thing I've always wanted to try out but had never been able to have any one go with due to every one in my family gets extremely nerves when there feet get over 4" off the ground. Then all of the sudden they pulled up the courage to give zip lining a try and oh Lordy, what a great time we had. Gilligan and Nudge helped everyone to feel relaxed on the line. Even uncle Vanilla wants to go again and claims he'll try something a little more daring. If you get a chance to do the zip line thing here at Bigfoot I highly recommend Gilligan and Nudge for your Sky Ranger guides. The only way this can get better is with elevators in the towers. Don't forget to stretch, 48hrs later and I still feel the mussels I've never used before. read more

My boyfriend Tyler and I were going to wis dells for a weekend. The first thing we did was the zipline. It was AMAZING! We learned the tricks and zip lined upside down and out group was a blast too! Buy what made it really fun was the guys that toured us an. Showed us how to zipline and caught us, Wes and Rasheed. Two very nice and entertaining guys. Made us laugh and feel comfortable with ziplining. Wes was the one who caught us each time and just when you felt like you were going to crash he caught you and unhooked you safely. I had so much fun on the Bigfoot Zipline Tour! I have been ziplining once before I went here, and I have to say this was a much better experience. The tour guides were amazing and with Emily hooking us up at the beginning and Dillan (blonde haired Dillan) catching us at the end I felt completely safe. They made the trip very fun by teaching us to do cool tricks if we wanted to, and they were hilarious, so glad I got those two as my guides! Each of the seven ziplines had something different to offer and they were all defiantly worth those many stairs you had to climb to get there. David and Jackson were our tour guides on the zipline course and they were great! Always cracking jokes and keeping everyone in a good mood. They kept us safe and taught us how to do everything and made sure everyone knew what to do and how to do it. It is recommended that you book in advance if you are a large group, as the kayaks seem to be limited. It is a very popular place, as the scenery changes dramatically. The lake its' self is rather small, but is connected to windy rivers that are lined by orange cliffs. There is a nice mixture of shaded areas, as well exposed sunny areas. There are many beaches to pull up onto, and a dam at the end of the course. The lake is very friendly for beginners and experts. Kayaks are $10 an hour or $25 for a half day. It takes about 2 hours to get to the dam and back, more if you go casually and like to stop a lot like we did!

DOA Room Escape

Their entry-level room is a mission to Mars, their…read moremiddle-level room is a quest to get to shelter because a tornado is coming, and their hard-level room is a quest to save yourself from the sinking Titanic. If you haven't done escape rooms before, you should definitely do the Mars one. It's fun for beginners. It's also cheaper and takes a shorter time duration. There aren't as many puzzles to solve as the middle level or most difficult one. But, it's still quite fun to do. The most fun is in the tornado room. They had an option to do it with the lights on or off, and we chose to leave the lights on. There is enough going on already, and we didn't need to be distracted by having it be too dark. The puzzles are a little tougher, and this one takes a full hour to finish. The theme is great, and the variety of things to solve is perfect. It's not just a routine of solving one number code after another. The toughest one is the Titanic room. And, I can't help but lower my rating of this place from 5 stars to only 4 stars as a result. I don't mind that it's tougher. That's fine, and that's not the reason I am deducting a star. There's a difference between making something tougher, vs. making something that absolutely nobody would understand. This room is around half of the size of the tornado room, yet, it has double the amount of things to solve. And, frankly, some of the puzzles are just a bit too cryptic for my liking. They just went a little too far with confusing things to figure out, that didn't really lead anywhere. It's a shame, because 70% of this room has some really great features that most people will really have fun with. But, about 30% of the stuff you need to solve is just impossible without taking clues from the staff, and even after getting the clues, it still doesn't make much sense. And, they really need to make this one 1.5 hours long to accommodate all of the things you need to finish. Overall, though, I'd recommend any of these rooms, even the difficult Titanic room. I just think that room needs a little more time allotted, and a bit of tweaking to a few of the puzzles to make them more reasonable.

Highly recommend it and we would do it again. Make sure to use the coupon for seven dollars off if you're staying at the Wyndham and can get their coupon book!

My son has become Mr Alligstor almost overnight (well it started maybe around May of this year and…read moreapart from his normal video gaming, Alligators -- and to a lesser extent Crocs and Caimans) are his jam. He had been watching science-related videos, reading books, talking alligators and crocs nonstop. We were planning a mini father son trip and I wasn't sure where to go, when to my surprise I saw that Wis Dells had an alligator place! So we actually headed up there from NW Chicagoland for Alligators first...and boy this did not disappoint. The place was surprisingly very clean and not smelly at all--I had a college roommate who bought an old Used car that had a garter snake in it and he kept it and boy did it smell...so this is no small feat to keep it clean with this many reptiles. It was the first thing we did in Wis Dells and my son was there a good couple of hours (entrance was about $20 for us to visit and then you can buy food to feed -- meat packets were very reasonably priced), and also feed alligators, pythons, snapping turtles, alligator snapping turtles, caimans live mice and/or rats depending what the animals needed that day. Thankfully the owners -- lovely people who have been there nearly 30 years -- feed the live animals we don't have to touch them. I'll admit that left me a little squirmish but my son was in heaven. We were there about 2 hours (most folks I imagine last about 30 mins) and my son was really excited to see the animals -- behind closed glass tanks. They have 14 or so gators in the big tank right as you walk in, have an albino alligator (large one too) in a separate tank behind. Several pythons- including a jumbo yellow scary python and one a little smaller next to it. They have turtles, some smaller snakes, and some toads etc in other cages.... I figured we saw all we could ever see that first 2 hours as it isn't the biggest place, but my son really wanted to go back before we left, so we went back 2 days later and I don't know how we missed it on day 1, but they had a photo opportunity to hold an alligator (its mouth is taped for safety) and that was the thrill of my sons life! He's been telling everyone about that post our visit. Overall it was impressive how clean and not smelly the place is, showing the care the handlers/owners take to these animals. One bit of advice, while they have some very brief blurbs on some (not all) of the animals, I'd recommend adding more complete blurbs in the animals like a traditional zoo would. They also have an opportunity to buy alligators (which presumably is legal in Wisconsin) and that is something I'd never recommend -- Thankfully they aren't cheap so kids likely couldn't do that without a parent being involved:). All in all across 2 visits we were there 3.5 or so hours and my son had the absolute best time of his life. I can't thank them enough and they were super great to him answering his questions, etc (especially since on the second visit they were pretty darn crowded but they gave my so. Extra special treatment :) ). A wonderful experience-- and a reminder of the things we parents do for our kids lol - as Id never be there if it was t for my son, let alone be there twice! We will be back too next time we go to the Dells (I hadn't been to the Dells in over 20 years--first time as an adult, and I hadn't a great time, but this was amongst our biggest highlight of the trip)
