My husband and I recently started going to Dr. Tom's. He is one of the best doctors in town. He is approachable, patient, and kind. He is very knowledgeable and clear in explaining the diagnosis and treatment options. He respects his patients and never forces any treatment on us. At the beginning of each session he would spend time understanding my well-being and physical condition, and then adjust the treatment to my needs. He has made a huge difference to my well-being. Before I started to see him, my body was in so much pain that I could not get up from the bed, sit, or stand. When my husband gently touched my arm, I felt so much pain. I now see him once a week. The pain in my body is gone, and my ankles and neck have regained a greater range of motion. My body is doing so much better that I can resume exercising. His office building has free parking. If the lot is full, you can find free street parking, and metered parking. His office is very comfortable and quiet. His front desk staff is pleasant and easy to work with regarding insurance. I would give Dr. Tom 10 stars if I could. He is not a typical crack, crack, off you go chiro AT ALL. He spends time with each patient, one at a time and truly deeply cares for each person. I was having really intense lower back and hip pain for a couple months before I saw Dr. Tom. I talked to my general practitioner about it, but he just told me to rest and apply heat to it whenever I could. The pain increased, and it got to the point where I could feel various muscles tensing up in my back and pulling my spine in uncomfortable directions. It also affected my sleep, as I was only sleeping for max five hours a night. I called Dr. Tom's office and they were able to see me that day, and the first session with him was incredible. He spent over an hour with me discussing my issue and looking for the cause of the pain. We both did some exercises, adjustments to my spine, and talked about further treatment. I saw him after that as well, and along with physical therapy, I have been feeling much better. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome, caring doctor who listens to your symptoms and deeply cares about treating his patients until they feel 100 percent. I even first called him on a Saturday when I was in intense pain. I happened to catch him at his office on his day off. He had me come in that day. I don't get in other people's business to know what treatments they are getting, but for me, he is a lifesaver. During my annual physical my MD recommended I get Orthotics to help straighten my feet and relieve knee and back pain I experienced every day. I had a life long condition that I was not aware of until seeing Dr. Tom. Dr. Tom fit me for custom made inserts, and within a week of wearing them everyday, I am standing straighter, I have no knee pain at all, and my back pain is less everyday.
