Beware, this place is not accredited with Better Business Bureau. If it was possible to give no stars, to Tomasello on Queen street I would have done so. To start off with I was never a customer, but what happened to me was unprofessional and inconsiderate. I gave permission for a car to be dropped off at my residence, not only the car was dropped off dead, it was blocking my car in with no way out of the driveway. I was told from the owner of the car that it was going to be dropped off in the afternoon. Tomasello brought the car at 11:48AM and left at 11:55 AM. Blocking me in. No courtesy call, no ring at any of my doorbells, and no one notified the owner of the vehicle. I spoke with Kim Pimpleton who proceeded to talk over me, raised her voice, and once she was done, hung the phone up when I asked her for the business name, her direct supervisor name, and her name. I called back to speak with one of the Tomasello, thinking he would have an understanding ear with any issues concerning his business and for this incident not to repeat itself in the future. He was very condescending, abrupt, and I felt belittled after the conversation I had with him. Subsequently, my day was ruined and had to reschedule with fees. Extremely dissatisfied with the owners and employees manner and behavior. My experience showed the true character of this business. Had collision "work" done in Sept 2020 after an accident. Went back numerous times for the front end alignment being way off, paint chipping, hood and fender not lined up big gap at one end touching at the other, didn't hook up the a/c line etc... Went again, 9 months later after getting new tires again, and was told by Dan the owner when we told him the work is unacceptable that we need to grow up and learn how to talk to people and that we have been a problem since we went there! And we're still waiting on a part to come in that they say is on back order! Great place if you want to have your car messed up and talked to like you're a piece of s#*t! New shop in Depew?! My wife and I purchased a car from Tomasello's last fall. It, like all used cars sold by dealers in NYS, came with a lemon law warranty. The vehicle we purchased was and still remains riddled with mechanical issues. We made numerous attempts to get Tomasello's to repair the car and were assured and reassured every step of the way that they were taking care of the repairs. Only to find that each time the car was returned to us not only was it still broken I would discover yet another mechanical issue. Their failures on our car include but are not limited to: 1. RTV silicone to seal the timing covers 2. Drilled holes in fuses and stuck wire in the hole to power the ac clutch. 3. Passing inspection with a home made welded rear differential mount which replaced the factory isolation mount. This cobb job cause a mounting bolt to shear off in the differential and break the axle in the process. This has rendered the vehicle undrivable. 4. Lacked the competency to diagnose or repair a bad power steering pump and returning us the car twice still leaking power steering fluid. 5. Made agreement to reimburse for power steering repair at garage of our choice. Only to partially reimburse us when the repairs were finished. read more
