Seriously the best pizza in Miami! No idea why this place is not packed... my 4th times here, never fail me.

Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. And it was take out!! Order took triple the estimated time. The Cesare dressing tastes like paint. The eggplant Park tastes like freezer burn and so did the pizza. Food sucked. read more

Going, going , almost gone! Since we were first timers, wanted to try a few items. Started with a slice of Margarita pizza, yum, a spinach empanada, great! They bring these amazing and addictive little dough rolls with a kalamata olive dip, addictive (so much so that we purchased a container to bring home). Then moved on to an order of meatballs, better than your Nona would make and an eggplant parm that was so delicately flavored that I can't wait to have it again. Meanwhile, we enjoyed a tasty bottle of a very reasonably​ priced Bonarda blend. Prices are GREAT! The good news is I've got leftovers for lunch tomorrow so I can keep enjoying the great food. Service was charming and I've got a new favorite local Italian restaurant to frequent. Do yourself a favor, check it out! read more

This place is a true gem in a very unexpected place. Buzzing and ticking as though its been there forever, yet an ambiance set by decor screaming: fresh and contemporary. The staff were all engaging in a super friendly way; simply professional in their service and genuine in conversation (and recommendations...). But all of that would have meant little, if not for the culinary execution. I had the meatballs, which were served in a perfectly red marinara sauce, and graced with a splash of cheese to seal the deal. It was a thoroughly enjoyable dish, just slightly on the smaller size, an accompanying side would have perfected things. More importantly, their Red Sangria was loaded with fresh seasonal fruit, and deceptively tasty for its kick. I went here after my graduation with a big group of people and loved it! The place inside is decorated so cute! The pizza was delicious and so were the meatballs. They also give a side of bread with an olive spread that's really tasty. The waitress was really accommodating and patient as there were a lot of people and it was a little hectic. read more

So adorable and charming! The pizza was the best I've had in Miami. I'm a purest so I had the Margarita. Absolutely delicious! Really good quality Mozzarella and great balance of sauce and cheese perfectly seasoned. There was a gentleman at the counter drinking a cafe con leche and eating a baguette with marmalade and butter - It looked like something you would get in Paris. Went for lunch and the service set the tone and the it was deafening. The server did not say one thing to us and we felt rushed. The pizza crust was burnt and the pizza was not worthy of mentioning. Was surprised how fresh my delivery order of lasagna appeared and tasted. By far the best Lasagna I have had at any South Florida restaurant. The lemon sorbet was to die for as well. Ordered a margarita pizza and Caesar salad from here. The pizza was runny, and just flat out bland. Felt like a kid with an easy-bake oven could do a better job than the pizza I had. I don't know if the chef was having a bad day or something, because the reviews seem to give this place a good vibe. The food is the kind of place, I'm not willing to give a second chance to. I was nearby ata training and did not want the usual barrage of fast food. Always on the hunt for a new place, I came across Tomato and Basil. A short drive from the training center, this small, quaint streetfront restaurant is convenient and the pizza is excellent. I only ordered the lunch special of two slices and a drink. The pizza is excellent, good flavor with fresh basil on it, but the piece d' resistance was the pottery bowl of olive oil and fresh sliced garlic placed with the butcher block that the pizza is served on to enhance the flavor as only garlic can do. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be returning to try the lasagna or one of my personal favorites, polenta bolognese. read more
