What a cute place for lunch! My friends and I were craving something healthy and gave Tomato Patch a try - and what a great experience we had! Fantastic food and service. We had Mediterranean Salad and veggie on wheat sandwich, and all dishes were delicious, with portions on the larger side. We were also brought some of their fermented veggies to try - cauliflower and beets were super tasty! And at the end, they treated us to their self-serve ice-cream which was a perfect ending to our lunch! Plenty of space to sit inside or outside, super friendly service, reasonable prices. Ordered a 1/2 sandwich/ 1/2 soup combo - both were okay. I might try a different type of bread next time though because the sandwich fell apart almost immediately (my fault, I took off the paper and removed the decorative toothpick holding it together). It was a filling lunch and I was glad you could customize the order to your liking; an entire sandwich would've been too much for me today. I also ordered a pomegranate lemonade- it was good and very refreshing on a hot valley day! The service was alright, it got busy quickly (lunch time rush). If you work around Tomato Patch just Dine In because they prioritize the people who are behind you that haven't ordered that want to dine in. I learned it the hard way, which is waiting after ordering. Working in the Warner Center offices there has always been some sort of cafe established in the business center. Most recently The Tomato Patch appeared on the lane and I am very excited to leave this review because this cafe is by far the best cafe that has opened up. The convenience of walking to the cafe is a plus but the food really hits the nail on the head. I am working my way through the menu. So far I have had there combinations of soups, salads, and sandwiches. Today I ordered the BLT and Broccoli Cheddar soup. Their portions for the combinations are decent and amazing on the freshness of every ingredients in the sandwich & soup. My sandwich consisted of bacon, lettuce, tomato on toasted sourdough. Decided to go with the combo of 3. Very fresh and the soup was delicious!! Lentil soup is my favorite and I always have to try it when I see it on a menu. Service was very friendly and quick too. I asked the young girl who placed my order her name and I already forgot it, it started with an L though lol. Very helpful since I told her it was my first time there. I work close by and there are not many healthy options around for a quick lunch. Place looked spotless and very clean with super chill music which is a plus for me.
