I had Tomax Construction replaced some dry rot wood siding and paint my house last summer. Because of the rain or whatever reason I had some premature chipping and pealing on the wood siding. I talked to Tom the owner about it and he immediately sent over his man Adam and he started scaping and sanding the entire area right away. He spent 4 days doing prep, primer, and painting. Basically doing a complete do over of the front siding. I appreciate the fact that Tom, without hesitation fixed the problem area and made it all good. The rest of the house is fine no chipping or pealing so it was just a small problem area for some reason. I hired Tomax Construction to do the drywall and painting in my kitchen. I have an old house and had opened all the walls to upgrade the electrical circuits and plumbing. Tom came personally to look at the work to be done and the bid was fair and very clear with the scope of work clearly outlined. You have to make a leap of faith when hiring people but I was very glad I put my faith into Tom and his crew. The walls are so beautifully smooth and the paint job is superb as well. They also used quality materials, 5/8 drywall and the more expensive insulation even though the bid was the same I received from other companies. The inspector commented on how perfect the job was when he came to inspect the drywall panels. Also, and this is not par for the course, they began the job and finished exactly when they said they would. Tom came for the final walk through as well just to make sure I was completely satisfied.
