    Pineapple Fried Rice w/ Shrimp
    Rose E.

I stopped in here on my way to Duluth recently, and here was my take... The place itself wasn't very big, but sleek. However, there was this awkward vibe to the place...but can't quite pinpoint it. One thing that stood out loudly was its lack of A/C. It was a near 90-degree day, and it felt like I was eating in a sauna! THIS docked a star right off the bat. The service was really good. My waitress was very quick and attentive throughout. I tried their Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp, with a side order of Pork Shumai...and they were pretty good, but a bit on the bland side. I thought the presentation was good. I really appreciated the pretty "rose" carving of the carrot. Overall, I liked the meal...but didn't quite love it. Again, think I would have liked a richer, spicier flavor...but then, guess it was my fault for picking the wrong items on the menu? Still, the food was solid...and the presentation was better than average. Overall, I thought they deserved at least 4 stars...even with the lack of A/C.

Excellent pad thai and a HUGE portion. Beef noodle soup was like a pho but without the bulk of fresh herbs and veg. Still tasty with tender beef.

    The nice cook.

We finally tried this place last night. We had a great time and the food was nice. We had the hibachi. We had chicken and steak. And let me say the meat portions we huge! HUGE! The staff was very attentive, and were constantly asking if we needed more water more sauce taking dirty plates away the service was fantastic. The chef was very nice and not too loud . My son enjoyed the show very much. The lady next to us had a birthday and the staff gave her a free slice of cake and sang. So sweet. We showed up at around 5 o'clock on Saturday. We're very lucky we did because after we showed up a lot of people showed up so if you want to get a good spot I would recommend going between 5pm and 5:30pm on the weekends. We will return and try the Thai food next. The prices for the Hibachi were a tad pricey but I understand with the cost of everything right now .

Very unique sushi options! Love the crab wonton, so tasty and so craveable! Awesome atmosphere and great customer service is an added plus! I love it here!

I'm happy this restaurant is just down the street from where I stay, but the prices are bit too steep for the neighborhood. The taste and quality of food makes it worth the visit, but not a place to revisit regularly. The restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall, making the parking here very limited. Compared to the amount of people the restaurant can actually seat, there is a major disconnect here. The restaurant itself is decorated with a very minimalistic Asian approach, which I greatly appreciated. They play acoustic renditions of popular music throughout the restaurant which creates a very comfortable vibe. We started with the Takoyaki, Tomiyama Roll, and Tom Yom Goong. The takoyaki was definitely the favorite of the three. We ordered the Tomiyama Roll on a whim since it had the name of the restaurant in it, it was a bit underwhelming although tasted fresh. For our entrees we ordered the Lobster Pad Thai and Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice. Both were so savory and delicious! I would definitely recommend either of these dishes.

Really enjoyed our dinner here tonight. Though once you've been to one hibachi place you've seen the flaming onion choo choo train. Yeah, they do the flaming onion choo choo train here too. The flavors were good and the chef was pleasant. It's a little pricey, but probably worth a visit once in a while.

Absolutely outstanding food and service! We drove about 30 minutes to try this place out and arrived almost 15 minutes before they opened. We parked outside and when they saw us they turned the Open sign on early. So sweet! The food was outrageously good. Hands down best California roll, ebi nigiri, chicken satay. nam tok, and Tom yum we have ever had anywhere! Only minor complaint is that the crab Rangoon is sweet and we don't care for sugar in crab Rangoon (though admittedly it was quite tasty for sweet Rangoon!) This is solely down to a personal taste thing, though. Absolutely nothing they did wrong. We will 100% be back very soon!

The prices were so outrageously high I started wondering if I was accidentally buying shares in the restaurant instead of ordering a steak. Then, before I could even process the emotional damage, I noticed they had already slapped an automatic tip on the receipt. Bold move. Usually people wait until after they've earned it. I would give a better tip at Texas Roadhouse, a real American Dining. The steak arrived looking like it had lost a fight with the shrink ray from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. I've seen bigger samples at Costco. It was somehow both tiny and salty as shit, which is an impressive achievement in all the wrong ways. The mac and cheese tasted like someone whispered the words "cheddar" and "seasoning" into the kitchen and called it a day. I've had more flavorful ice cubes. At one point I looked down at my plate and genuinely wondered if this was the kids' menu portion by mistake. As we departed this fine establishment, I felt as though the restaurant had not merely emptied my wallet, but reached into my very soul and repossessed my financial future. My pocket had a hole in it by the time I left, my stomach was disappointed, and my dad deserved an apology letter from the chef. If Shakespeare himself had dined here, Hamlet would've been five acts of him debating whether "to eat, or not to eat." Save your money, grill a steak at home, and season your mac and cheese with literally anything. It'll taste better, cost less, and you won't need a small business loan just to celebrate Father's Day.

I ordered the Center Cut Filet Oscar style, and it was cooked perfectly. For the table, we shared the onion rings, corn, and garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mashed potatoes are easily my favorite side here. I'm obsessed and could probably eat an entire family size serving by myself. My sister ordered the Dover sole, and after trying some of hers for the first time, I'm now debating getting that on my next visit too. Everything was delicious, and the portions at Frankie's are always incredibly generous. You definitely won't leave hungry! My espresso martinis were also amazing. I'm pretty particular about how I like them, and they made them exactly how I wanted, which I really appreciated. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out their famously gigantic slice of cake for the table. There was more than enough for all six of us to share, and I even took some home for my fiancé. I wanted a caesar salad and my husband mentioned sampling some of my salad. Deija overheard this and split the caesar salad which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. I couldn't have imagined eating it in addition to the bread, appetizer, entree and side that was ordered. So I really appreciated it being split. Celia brought out a cheesecake with strawberries with a plate decorated in chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the dish. Deija mentioned that she hoped it was a good choice based on some food items I mentioned to her I could and could not have. We were excited and happy with the surprise dessert, it was delightful. We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant as well as the food. The entire occasion was heavenly. We will definitely be back in the future.
