I am so grateful to restaurants for having halal options, especially for something cool like hibachi, but man oh man was the food absolutely awful. We got a bunch of things including the hibachi (steak and shrimp), Tomiyama chicken, pad Thai, and spring rolls. While everything was just mid, I have to call out the pad Thai and spring rolls. The pad Thai was so incredibly sweet, it tasted of ketchup. The spring rolls were definitely frozen, I could taste freezer in every bite. The sushi was ok, probably the best of everything. The hibachi chef was also very nice and did a great job with the "show". I have to say - the place was not clean either. I know it was probably busier than usual due to Eid, but everything was a little dirty - from dishes to the table to the thing you get your check in, they all had something gross on it. We were able to flag the staff down at some point to clean the table and dishes, but it still felt gross. Super disappointing experience. I was here about a year ago, I think their standards have dropped significantly. read more

Me and my partner went for dinner if was late but at least an hour and half until closing dinner was good until it came to paying we were up charged the prices did not add up coordinating to the menu and for the little amount of food that we got it was not worth above 108$ + tip as well as the server made us pay her extra tip (15% extra) saying she needed a better tip and couldn't take the tip we left (which we did not have to leave in the first place!!) she would not let us leave until we gave her more tip not to mention was extremely rude about it as collage students we already don't have much and we gave her all we had to just be able to leave we will not be coming back because of this experience read more

I stopped in here on my way to Duluth recently, and here was my take... The place itself wasn't very big, but sleek. However, there was this awkward vibe to the place...but can't quite pinpoint it. One thing that stood out loudly was its lack of A/C. It was a near 90-degree day, and it felt like I was eating in a sauna! THIS docked a star right off the bat. The service was really good. My waitress was very quick and attentive throughout. I tried their Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp, with a side order of Pork Shumai...and they were pretty good, but a bit on the bland side. I thought the presentation was good. I really appreciated the pretty "rose" carving of the carrot. Overall, I liked the meal...but didn't quite love it. Again, think I would have liked a richer, spicier flavor...but then, guess it was my fault for picking the wrong items on the menu? I've come twice to get pad Thai and drunken noodles and have been unsatisfied. It either was overly fish or soy saucey in taste, which threw me off. We haven't had their hibachi yet so maybe that's better in taste and quality? I think the saving grace were the servers, but I don't think we'll be back until the quality changes especially at this high price point. read more

We finally tried this place last night. We had a great time and the food was nice. We had the hibachi. We had chicken and steak. And let me say the meat portions we huge! HUGE! The staff was very attentive, and were constantly asking if we needed more water more sauce taking dirty plates away the service was fantastic. The chef was very nice and not too loud . My son enjoyed the show very much. The lady next to us had a birthday and the staff gave her a free slice of cake and sang. So sweet. We showed up at around 5 o'clock on Saturday. We're very lucky we did because after we showed up a lot of people showed up so if you want to get a good spot I would recommend going between 5pm and 5:30pm on the weekends. We will return and try the Thai food next. The prices for the Hibachi were a tad pricey but I understand with the cost of everything right now . read more

Great sushi ! I don't normally write reviews but honestly I had to , it's my first time trying this place and I ordered a To-Go and the service was good , they were friendly and greeted me nicely. Okay now , the food ! For it to be Togo you would assume it would be cold but it was still nice and hot . I ordered the Wow roll and the Tomi dragon roll. WOW WOW WOW , let me tell you , the dragon roll is what did it for me and it came with this sauce that looked like soy sauce but was thicker , wish I asked but with both combined was DELICIOUS! I'm happy this restaurant is just down the street from where I stay, but the prices are bit too steep for the neighborhood. The taste and quality of food makes it worth the visit, but not a place to revisit regularly. The restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall, making the parking here very limited. Compared to the amount of people the restaurant can actually seat, there is a major disconnect here. The restaurant itself is decorated with a very minimalistic Asian approach, which I greatly appreciated. They play acoustic renditions of popular music throughout the restaurant which creates a very comfortable vibe. We started with the Takoyaki, Tomiyama Roll, and Tom Yom Goong. The takoyaki was definitely the favorite of the three. We ordered the Tomiyama Roll on a whim since it had the name of the restaurant in it, it was a bit underwhelming although tasted fresh. For our entrees we ordered the Lobster Pad Thai and Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice. Both were so savory and delicious! I would definitely recommend either of these dishes. read more

Absolutely outstanding food and service! We drove about 30 minutes to try this place out and arrived almost 15 minutes before they opened. We parked outside and when they saw us they turned the Open sign on early. So sweet! The food was outrageously good. Hands down best California roll, ebi nigiri, chicken satay. nam tok, and Tom yum we have ever had anywhere! Only minor complaint is that the crab Rangoon is sweet and we don't care for sugar in crab Rangoon (though admittedly it was quite tasty for sweet Rangoon!) I had the Alaska roll and volcano roll. The rice was mushy for both. The presentation of my volcano roll was a blop of orange stuff. I still ate it all tho. I don't recommend the crabbragoon it was sweet as a donut. I usually expect salty and savory because the sauce is already sweet. So I opted not to dip it in the sauce. I did like their miso soup and salad tho. I will compliment whoever designed the restaurant. There's a see thru glass between hibachi and non-hibachi tables and it dampened the noise really well since the space is smaller than most hibachis I've been to. To be honest it was fair fish. But the orange slices they paired with it overpowered all their fish. The octopus was a bit slimy and the mackerel was okay. Tuna and salmon were at their usual standard. I was disappointed they didn't put yellowtail. the other fish, i forget what its called but it has a rubbery texture, was icey. miso soup was kind of bland and the ginger salad okay. the uni was pretty but it wasn't good. had a bitter icky aftertaste, and i love uni. Greeting was pleasant upon arrival. It was about 6 ppl at 1 table and 2 seated at the other table. We joined them with a chef that was 75 years old. He was phenomenal although his portion size was great it lacked seasoning. We never received refills on our drink. When we were deciding what we wanted the waitress named Kimmie came and stood over me, and once I began to tell her what I wanted, she kept trying to take my menu out of my hand. I had to continuously tell her Hold on that we were still looking to see what we wanted. She kept rushing us, even though the restaurant was completely empty and the time was a little after 8 and they close at 10:00. She never came back to see what we needed. The chef had to keep calling and asking for her to bring other things needed for our table. The chef was very entertaining and he gave us exactly what we wanted It just lack seasoning. My only issue was the gratuity was added when there were only 4 of us and we ended up tipping $40, which is fine. But we had to ask for plates and napkins. We figured maybe the server was new. Excellent service, food, and ambiance. The Thai food was excellent! Good Thai food in this area is rare. Unlike the places that simply mix up a wimpy concoction of peanut butter, curry paste, and coconut milk, you could smell the fresh lemongrass, see keffir lime leaves, and the spice was on point at Tomiyama. I also tried some simple raw sushi rolls, which were super fresh and delicious. My kids ordered the bento boxes, which were filled with fresh and plentiful foods. The Hibachi grills looked wonderful with a generous amount of plump shrimp being cooked up with fried rice. I look forward to trying Hibachi next time. The staff were exceptional. Yelp reviewers have done it again! I never would have found this place on my own. But we were looking for a new hibachi spot to try. This place did not disappoint. The parking situation, I can see being an issue on super busy nights. Itwill fill up quickly so be aware. It was good for a Wednesday night. The place itself looks unassuming from outside but when you walk in, it is clean and modern, plenty of lighting, tvs and a sleek bar. The hibachi and the restaurant tables are separated by glass. So you can choose how you want to enjoy your meal. And if you want Thai food or sushi only, the table area is really nice and not as loud as the grill side. We ate at the hibachi grill. And both our server as well as our cook were amazing and accommodating. The food was really delicious too. Husband and I both got chicken and shrimp hibachi. Side note:We are picky about seafood having lived near the coast for decades before moving here to Suwanee. The shrimp was fresh and cooked perfectly. Our daughter eats very little and we tried to order the kids meal. But our server wouldn't allow it bc she was 13. She steered us to getting sides and it worked out far better for us bc all Peyton will eat is the meat and the rice anyways. So we did a side of steak and side of fried rice. Perfect. Grateful for our servers help! She could have just said no and made us order a full hibachi meal(which our girl never eats-not the soup, not the salad, not the veggies-blergh) So again, really thankful that our server was gracious enough to want to help us order with as little waste as possible. This is a good new hibachi spot for the area. Had been going to Kani House and Shogun, but I think this may be my new hibachi go to due to the flavor of the food which was exceptional on my first visit. Got the filet and chicken hibachi To go. When I went inside to pick up my food I noticed how immaculate the restaurant is inside. Completely remodeled and as clean as can be. It's smaller than your average hibachi restaurant, but I would suspect that it's due to the location which is in the end of a strip mall. My filet and chicken hibachi was $28 and I got a lot of food (and ate it all) Will be back to dine in and watch the chef show with the kids next time! read more
