I bought a compression knee sleeve and after about 90 days the elastic/rubber band around the top sleeve separated and shredded. That band keeps the sleeve in place; without it, the sleeve keeps sliding below the knee making the sleeve worthless. When I asked for a replacement based on their own statement that "Tommie Copper proudly guarantees the quality, performance and fit of all our products", they told me they only refund/replace within 60 days of purchase and offered a 15% discount to buy a new sleeve. Terrible service policy. I will never buy from them again, would advise anyone to avoid buying from them. read more

my daughter is a competitive international fencer and she developed tendonitis. Nothing helped. Her PT suggested we look at the sleeve from Tommie Copper. She fencers with it all the time now and has full mobility. Before she was using an air pillow brace and had no relief. I don't understand why the other reviewer had problems with customer service. I went to the retail location in Mt. Kisco and they were very plesant. Also, I called the corporate number and spoke with someone very knowledgable and polite. This company is the worst. All of their customer information was hacked into, and they are not willing to pay for monitoring of their customers. My personal information was hacked into on the Tommie Cooper website, including my address, phone number, credit card number and etc, and now I stand a pretty good chance of being a victim of Identity Theft, which could ruin me. When I tried to talk with a representative, I was told I would have to pay for my own monitoring even though it was their lack of network security which allowed this to happen in the first place. I called to discuss this and was totally ignored by the representative I spoke with. I asked for a supervisor and in the end he said he would send a return shipping label. He did not. I have arthritis in my thumbs and less in my hands. I have 3 pairs of Tommie Copper compression gloves. I do not wear them while working. I keep them out of water and take very good care of them. I wear one pair during the day, one at night, and the other covers the fingers entirely which I found uncomfortable and not useful as designed. I love the way the two half finger pairs of gloves feel. They help a lot with the pain in my thumbs. When I wear them they greatly reduce the movement of bones and my thumb bones do not feel like they are grinding over each other. So why do I rate them a one? The quality of these gloves is horrible. They are falling apart and have not been worn more than 30 times each. For the price of them they should last a long time. Both pairs started falling apart when almost new at the end of where they partially cover the fingers. I went for a walk tonight and when I got home noticed the stitching that holds the thumb on in my daytime pair has about a 2 inch long stitch separation. The reason I have not mentioned the 3rd pair yet is because they cover the entire thumb and fingers. They have a place at the end of each digit to use touching a smart phone. To use these gloves the fingers and thumbs have to be pulled up tight as they are too long for the size glove. The return policy puts the costs on the buyer, such as, if they were on sale when purchased you do not get the sale price unless they still are. They don't just exchange. As previously stated, I like the way the short finger gloves feel. Unfortunately the quality is the square root of piss poor. Due to that I cannot recommend Tommie Copper. read more

On the High Seas I was recently on a cruise talking to a Chiropractor (doctor mike) about my knee pain. He pulled up his pant leg and showed me his Tommie Copper braces and raved about them. He then took them off and said use them for a day. I did and felt relief immediately (even with my left knee which is bone on bone). I not only purchased the knee braces but also one for my ankle. He needed a medium. Trusting the sales lady, her purchases what we thought was a prepackaged med. up son returning home it was actually a small. Back to Mount Kisco went. I returned the small hoping to get a medium. Nope. They said that they were expecting a shipment that week and they would call. A few days go by I was in Mount Kisco, I figured I would stop by and see if the shipment came in. She check in the back and brought out a recovery sleeve, not a performance sleeve. I am 45 yr. old male who has undergone back surgery for a herniated disk four years ago. I have always experienced pain and discomfort in my low back area even after the surgery. I bought compression pants, socks, and 2 knee braces. I absolutely love the pants and I even wear them to bed. They are very comfortable and seem to help my hip and knee pain. I tried the knee braces but the band caused irritation on my skin. The socks are comfortable but more than I would want to pay.
