I have been here numerous times since the store opened. I typically go here for Christmas, birthday…read moreshopping, or when I need something for the house. They have 2 entrances, one in the front and one in the back. It can get overwhelming with the cramped aisles and so many people, especially around the weekends and holidays. To anyone who has anxiety or claustrophobia, do not go here on the holidays. But if you come in on a weekday evening or morning, you'll find that it's calmer. They also tend to stock their shipments around those days so you get first dibs on what's fresh at the store. And if you like hello kitty, Disney or other collectables. My pro-tip is to check the trash bins, baskets, and cabinets because sometimes, you'll find a hidden stash of items. One time, I opened a cabinet to find a hello kitty holiday mixing bowl. I ran to the register, past a group customers who did a double take and said "Where did she get that mixing bowl??" Now unfortunately, the only thing I dislike about this location is one of the shift leads or managers. Idk her name. She talks bad about the customers in front of other customers. The person she was speaking poorly of is, in my case, my mom! This happened around Summer of 2025. Now when my mom and I get in line, we always pay separately. We each buy our own items. So when they call us to a register we take turns on who goes first: sometimes it's me, sometimes it's her. It depends on who has the least items. It just so happens this time it was me and that I picked to go to the register with the manager or shift lead - what ever she was. She says hi and I say hello. She offers the store card. I say no thank you. Then she speaks into her microphone thing - "yah that lady that went to your register. Yah, she doesn't like me, she always lets someone else go in front of her so she doesn't go up to me. Can you believe that? I know." I turned to the register she was speaking of, and lo and behold, it was my mom. I try my best to keep a blank face as she's processing my transaction. Then I smile at her (which was very difficult to do). and say "have a great day." Then I go to my mom's register and say "HI MOM I'm done." Then when she was done we both walk back past her. The shift lead was shocked. And I turned and gave her a wonderful look that say a bunch of colorful things. Moral of the story: don't bad mouth other customers. wait until the break room or when you go home. I spoke to my mom afterwards and she said she has no clue who she even is.

Upon entry, a congenial gal complimented me on my skirt and asked if I got it at Anthropologie which I did, and we made some pleasant small talk. The store was well organized, and I grabbed a couple of things to try on. While looking for the friendly employee for size help, I unfortunately encountered a grouchy lady who ended up assisting me; she was downright rude and snippy. In fact, she was repeatedly off-putting to extent that it's not necessary to go into to detail and identify her b/c no doubt her colleagues feel the same way-awful attitude. It was also strange despite signs throughout the store that indicate customers would get $100 off a $300 purchase (fantastic deal!), the cashier (another employee) was clearly not going to apply it without me prompting her to do so. Consequently, she needed to ask someone-presumably the manager-for assistance to do this. I get it because I've been new in a workplace and proper training on the job is necessary. The whole experience was just sort of jarring and perplexing, but I dismissed it because I'm not a regular, experienced brick and mortar shopper these days. A reason for this mediocre experience was later elucidated when I sat down solo at the bar at PF Chang's and told the bartender that she was an overall MUCH more superior server than I ever was while working for this franchise for six years. That's when another solo diner-manager from the Coach store-beside me chimed in. She said she's been trying to get this bartender to come work at her store because it's difficult to find people like her who have such a positive and enthusiastic work ethic. Then it clicked: apparently, there must be a shortage of quality applicants in the retail business. Overall, I'll still drop into this store if I happen to go to this mall since I like the merchandise, while knowing that the retail industry, in general, may simply be in some sort of transitional limbo at this point.

She made me feel very uncomfortable and I will be contacting Chicos headquarters. Here is what I witnessed: These two middle eastern women were shopping (I think they were speaking Farsi/Persian) and one was trying on clothes in the changing room. As she was trying on each article of clothing, she was placing them over the top of the changing room door. (Keep in mind, these changing rooms are extremely small). The manager frantically approached this customer and said "You can't just throw the clothes over the door! They'll get dusty!" Taken aback, the customer replied: "The store gets cleaned, doesn't it?" And the manager said "Not up there!!!" She then turned around and muttered to herself (very loudly): "NO ONE ELSE DOES THESE TYPES OF THINGS. NO ONE." I could see the two women were very uncomfortable after being scolded by the manager about this and did not linger in the store much longer. They did not they buy any of the many items they had tried on. I don't blame them one bit, because I left quickly after too. My housekeeper always cleans the top of my doors at my house. Does Chicos not have the same standards of cleanliness? The manager basically announced to the whole store that they do not. To embarrass and scold a customer for something so unimportant is NOT OK. If anything, the manager should be contacting the store's CLEANING TEAM and letting them know that the changing rooms are dusty and dirty. Gross! I know this manager is capable of being polite, as another customer came in and she greeted them VERY warmly, as though they were friends. She gave these other two middle eastern woman the cold shoulder, however, and did not attempt to help them in any customer-friendly way. I was extremely disturbed to witness this. I wish I had gone back there and told that saleswoman what a rude person she is. This incident felt xenophobic to me, as they were speaking a foreign language, and this woman never appeared friendly to them at any point during their visit. Very "mean girl" energy. I will be contacting Chicos headquarters about this and reporting this incident. I was bystander, but it made me feel incredibly icky. I regret not comforting those women. I will also never be shopping at this particular Chicos again.

I don't know if she was a salesperson or not, but they were talking and not one of them looked up, greeted me or even acknowledged my presence. I walked around the entire store twice, looking for what I wanted. I was ready to ask someone, but since they were so disinterested in my presence and engaged in their conversation, I decided to shop elsewhere. I will not return to the store. It's a shame because it's the only one in this area and buying online is always sketchy causing possible returns. What has happened to decent customer service?

The store is nice of course upon entering the left side are men and the right side are women for what I saw so far. I love their pants and shorts also their joggers are one the most comfortable joggers. Although they are pricey like Lulu they are comfy clothing. The staff here was very helpful and friendly. (We didn't want to carry it around, more especially since they were heavy!) So when I finally came back, I see Mom with a cart full of stuff. (Whoa, I wasn't even gone 10 minutes!) Their clearance department is pretty massive and she said she found most of her bargain buys from that entire area. I was sold, so I took a bit of time to look through what they had: and scored three whole outfit and a dress for the bargain price of less than $50. I'm not about labels; whenever I see something I like and I feel comfy in it, I'm sold. So glad I stopped by. If I had more time, I probably would have ended up with more. I'll spare the readers the details, but suffice to say I could have swam in the caffeine that a certain guest basically emptied out on to me! And when I tell you it landed in a most unfortunate geographic location on my dear body, well, I'll leave it at that! So guess what? So I needed to buy a pair of shirt/shorts immediately! That brought me right here to JCPenney. And I didn't want to break the bank either! That's when Lupe came to the rescue. Not only did she go out of her way and walk me to the sales and clearance section, upon checkout she asked for my phone number and was able to find a hidden $10 reward which brought an already reasonable price down further! This JC Penny has an enormous section as it pertains to sales and clearances! Come on by, but be sure to ask for Lupe!

As I walked around and started to pick up gowns, Natalie offered me a dressing room! While I continue to select gowns, she was right there to help me right away and added them to my room! She was incredibly attentive & friendly the entire time! Note: I love shopping at Windsor, whether it's a casual flowing summer dress and/or a gown for an upcoming event, including being a guest at a wedding, I always find the perfect dress and/ or gown! However, I usually steer clear of the ones with glitter, because glitter gets everywhere! Overall: What a fun shopping experience at this location!
