Bit dark. Kind of odd location, sketchy walk to the door. Not the friendliest bartender on my trip.

Since it was early most places were pretty dead until we got here. We had been across the street when my mom noticed this place and wanted to give it a try. It was the first fully crowded bar we had come upon. We shuffled our way through the crowd and decided on a table in the very back. As we were making our way toward the table, a bartender made eye contact with me and let me know she'd be right over to take our order. I thought that was pretty amazing since normally you have to try and order at an already overcrowded bar. A few moments later there she was to take orders. Two of us got wine and the other two got lemon drops which I know is out of place for an Irish pub but we ended up absolutely loving our choices. My mom also asked for a straw for our water and she returned and handed it to her in a napkin which gained major points because I cannot stand when I'm handed a straw with bare hands. They were also playing live music which really the crowd engaged. Definitely a fun spot! Things to note: there is a very small private parking lot.

And my review hidden in my drafts... Anyway: Quality/Quantity - Parley 6 IPA - Supporting local. Smithwick's Irish Red - When in an Irish pub... Nice whiskey selection, but I have a show to watch at GSR later today and did not want to fall asleep, lol. Atmosphere - Small local pub. Friendly and welcoming. Small stage with live bands, see picture or website. Small parking lot, don't even bother, plenty of street parking. Open 5 days a week from 4pm to close. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Service - 6 stars. They welcomed our team. Approved us bringing in food (from Pizza Plus) for our event. The waitress and the bar service were perfect. Came and got our drink orders often. Price - HH $5 beers. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2007. Our team has been regular customers since??? So I guess we will be coming here more often.

When did I get so many friends, lol. JK. Anyway, I wanted to show them a different area and atmosphere than Reno. We walked around town, visited Fourth Ward School Museum and ended our day here. This was the most happening place in town with a live band, people dressed up in Western gear, etc. Good local beer and free popcorn to make us drink more beer, lol. Ambiance - Decent size location, but it was crazy busy when we got here. First, we sat at the bar, then when a table became available, our guests wanted to move. Sat in the very back center which was perfect for me. Service - 5 stars, both the bartender and waitresses were friendly and welcoming. But the band was a hit!!! Not only were they good, but the lead singer was giving line dance lessons, lol. But they were welcoming. FROM the stage, they were able to ask if we had any requests. Thanked us again from the stage as we left, etc. The band was 6 stars! I'm pretty sure they thought we were NOT locals, lol. Price - $26 + generous tip. Tourist prices, but our guest is worth it! Generous tip to the band. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success.

I remember taking the mine tour and being amazed that it is a part of our local history. I met some friends on a chilly Friday evening for drinks and karaoke. There was quite the crowd already at 8pm and I could tell it was a popular local watering hole. All the patrons were singing along with each karaoke guest and having a great time. The bartender was a very nice guy that was doing a great job keeping up with everyone despite being the only one behind the bar that night. We made sure to tip him well. He was slinging fresh cocktails, fresh draft pours, and some ready to drink cocktails. A couple of us put our names and song choices in for karaoke, the DJ had pretty much everything available to him. The songs ranged from classic rock, classic country, modern rock, modern country, 80's chart toppers, and some obscure songs that a number of locals got pumped up to hear! I got up to belt out my raspy rendition of The Promise, it was fun to get to 'perform' in front of a crowd again. A couple others in my group sang their hearts out as well. We will be back soon!

A lot of people are still stuck on incidences in the past. However I gave it another chance... I would recommend this bar to anybody visiting or someone wanting a cool place to go that is 24 hours. I enjoy the people, the bartenders, the ambience, the music, the atmosphere, the enclosed patio, the Sunday dinners & I made lifelong friends... Enjoy going here very much ... I feel safe, I feel welcome, I feel appreciated... This is definitely one of my favorite bars in reno/sparks.

It's a true dive bar in the best possible way -- cheap drinks, free pool, good people, hot girls, hot guys, and absolutely zero pretentiousness. The fact that it's open 24/7 is a huge bonus, and being able to smoke inside just adds to that classic dive-bar atmosphere. You never really know what kind of night you're going to have here, but you know it's going to be entertaining. One of my favorite things is Family Day on Sundays. They provide FREE food for everyone, which is something you just don't see anymore. It really gives the place a sense of community that makes it stand out. If you're looking for a fancy cocktail lounge, this probably isn't your spot. But if you want a real bar with character, good vibes, pool, interesting people, and a place where you can walk in at literally any hour -- this is it. Been coming for years and I'll keep coming back.
