Zach made it to my house and explained to me that the water hammer resistors I had in place needed to be moved from the back of the washing machine to the water faucet instead and lo and behold, the thumping stopped! Wonderful advice. We then discussed the second issue I had with removing the broken disposal and once the price was provided, I approved the work and he quickly got to it. He was very professional, left the entire area tidy and also gave me great insight into how the repiping would be done, which is something I need to save up for to get done.
