Tri County came to both houses and said they need a soil evaluation before they can replace the drain fields. I used their contact for the evaluation. John was a nice guy, easy to deal with. His fee was $500. John said he would submit his evaluation to Tri County and they would contact me. I did not hear from Tri County so I called them three times. Left a voice message and spoke to office personnel. Tri County has never returned my calls. I paid John the $500 I owed him and contracted with another septic company to replace both drain fields. DO NOT USE TRI COUNTY SEPTIC!!

We've never owned a home with a septic system before so our knowledge was lacking. We spent 6K+ to have our system replaced, unbeknownst to us they used our existing 1987 fiberglass tank. We were never offered a replacement. The equipment was already at our home, our yard already dug up, we would've replaced it. One week after installation the pump alarm was sounding, we were told the motor was bad and we'd need to pay for a new one. Absolutely not! Five years later we start developing a large depression in our front yard, something isn't right. I place a call to this company and they aren't available for a week. I called Acme Septic out and they informed me that our fiberglass tank is absolutely crushed and needs replacing. I have no faith in these companies at this point so I talk to my neighbors and get two other companies to inspect. The verdict; the new system was installed with utilizing the old tank from 1987!!! The owner of Orlando Septic explained to me that he was trying to "save us money" by using the existing tank 5 years ago when replacing the system. He inspects the issue and sends us a quote for $8K+!!! Little did he know I already had 3 quotes from other companies my neighbors recommended. Their quotes were $3-4K less!! I caught the supervisor diverting the underground electric service to the wall out in front of my property and told him he couldn't "steal" electric from that permitted job as it cost me a small fortune. He said he was doing it anyway because he needed to finish his job that day, and that the contractor, Assist2Build would have to put in a new circuit. The circuit has never worked and is constantly tripping the breaker. The septic pump has an alarm that depends upon the electric circuit, and the pump has never worked anyway, which means my shower backs up after a short shower. How does this happen you wonder since the permitting process is so strict on a new septic system? THE COUNTY CHECKS THE WORK PRIOR TO THE DRAINFIELD BEING COVERED, BUT DO NOT CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE SYSTEM FUNCTIONS PROPERLY OR THAT THE PUMP WORKS. Alpha Septic does not stand behind their shoddy work and can't be trusted on your property (if they are going to divert electric service from another source). Also, they chopped down branches from a gorgeous arching oak and a worker had stolen the staghorn fern off the branch, but returned it when I began furiously digging in the pile of dirt under where the branch used to be. The arching oak tree wasn't in their work area and didn't need to be bothered at all. They could have put their temporary piles of dirt just about anywhere else, but they thought nothing of destroying my landscaping. Piles of gravel were left along the area in the grass that were dug up from the old system. The site was left lumpy and full of roots and litter. It took me several months to get it cleaned up. This was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. How could this possibly happen? It was the contractor paying the tab, and they knew it, because I would have withheld payment until the damage that could have been mitigated was ... but nothing will bring back my beautiful tree. Also, there was a huge, wide, and deep pit left right in front of my shed such that I can't get my lawnmower into the shed or use my shed since the pit is too difficult for this disabled senior to navigate. He had the…read morecorrect toilet for the installation after an a previous installation visit last week by another tech was not good as the other tech tried to convince us we needed a special order toilet to replace the 12 inch rough in that was currently in use. A call to Chuck the supervisor, who was very professional, indicated no special order was needed. He said that All Pro had the correct 12 inch toilet in stock and could schedule the installation at our convenience. We set up 12/31/25 for the change out and Jeremiah was excellent. He kept us informed with every step, explained what material he was using to seal the toilet to the floor, took the old toilet away and completely and thoroughly cleaned up the area after the installation was complete. He provided excellent service.
