A delicious and super popular spot for burgers & such! Food is giant portions for a great price, and it's super tasty. The halibut po'boy never disappoints and half always lasts for lunch the next day. If you're a meat eater and want an absolutely bonkers sandwich, the RLE burger is definitely worth a try. I'm not usually an onion rings person, fries all the way, but both are amazing here. They've also been GREAT about Covid procedures, so you can feel safe and healthy ordering from here. If it's a popular weekend evening, definitely call a ways in advance. It can take 30 minutes to an hour, but it's worth it. Try them out! read more

So I finally ate here! Three months in Alaska and I've finally tried the burger stop everyone is talking about. I wish I could give a better review! I really do. Here are my top pros and cons for this place. First, the area is super sketchy. I came here with my 6 year old son after the sun had gone down. (This is not the greatest idea ive ever had) it's in a parking lot that contains a liquor store, but opens to an alleyway on both sides with the street behind you. So have your head on a swivel. There is no shortage of creepiness or creepy people meandering about the lot. It's a small place, which wasn't a downside. It added to the ambiance of the place and really gives that small business feel everyone likes so much. Service is great. They cooked our food to order and it wasn't too expensive, but I didn't expect it to be $34 for three meals and a soda. The problem lies mostly in my food. When we got home we realized my burger was PINK and cold in the middle. (I'm pregnant so This isn't safe at all for me) Just mine. Which was actually one of an identical pair of children's burgers. I couldn't imagine how grossed out I'd be if I was a kid. In that one bite I got a huge amount of salt. My husband agreed to share his double burger stop cheeseburger with me. That was even saltier. All three of us had extremely bad headaches after finishing and really rotten guts in the middle of the night. I'm not sure yet if I'll go back, but if I do I'm aiming for the fries. They had barely any salt and were covered in cheese. Right up my alley. I'll also go while the sun is still shining. Maybe if it was earlier in the day it would taste different. At this point it's sad to say I do not currently suggest this place to anyone. read more

We came here on Friday during lunch and ordered two tommy burgers. The wait was around 50min total, we weren't sure why as it didn't seem overly busy. Juicy, buns are Devine; everything just complimented each other very well..making it a very delicious burger. The staff is very friendly and genuine. Gives the whole comfortable "home" feeling, which unfortunately is hard to come by these days. I should've placed the order ahead of time because there was a little bit of a wait. Though, completely worth it and very understandable. It gave me the opportunity to admire the interior throughout. Overall..I had a great experience here. Stella Bleu Burger is bangin. A must when I go there. Everyone there is super friendly and their pop culture decor style is pretty sweet.

This place was great. They have a unique little place that is so busy they have to have a board in the window to say whose food is ready so it doesn't get too crowded in the small dining room. The burgers are huge, super fresh and delicious. The milkshakes are traditional but oh, so good! The staff is friendly and efficient. I couldn't believe the volume they were doing with only three people. Whether you live in Anchorage or are only visiting Anchorage, it is worth the stop. read more

Five stars hands down. Absolutely some of the best burgers I've ever had, you walk into the establishment and are greeted with a friendly demeanor and smiles. They do take a little bit to get you your food (simply for the fact of the customer base they are serving all of the time). My employer bought us lunch from Tommy's, so bravo on the person working the grill that handled 12+ burgers to go during lunch, plus the normal lunch rush. This was my first time, and it honestly didn't disappoint. The bun was good, the burger was good, the toppings were good, and the fries were amazing. I would eat here again, in fact I will be bringing my kids into Anchorage so they can compare it to the burger joints in the valley. We are here with our four boys, ages 6 up to 13. It really was as god as everyone says. We ordered from our car and then sat on the patio to eat. Everyone loved their burgers - especially the Sweet Charlotte. We also got the shrimp po'boy which was excellent. We ordered the mini burgers for the boys and they were plenty big. Great burgers and outstanding service. I walked in and ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings. I didn't have cash on me and was having problems with my bankcard as there was recent fraudulent activity, so the transaction was declined. It was after banking hours so no resolution there. I told the cashier that I would go home and get some money. Apparently they were closing soon, so she asked me how far away I lived, and I said it would take probably 25 min or so. She told me I probably wouldn't make their closing time, so she offered to pay for it herself. It was something like $16. I was shocked that she would offer to cover it, and politely declined her offer as I had just remembered that I had some loose cash in the glove box. My friend got one of their specials - the Bob-B-Q and I got the Sweet Charlotte with jalapeños (since I always crave something spicy) with Red Light - a house sauce they have - on the side. And I have to say, the food is amazing. This has to be one of the best burger joints here in Anchorage! They have a creative selection on their menu, take time to craft your burgers, and have friendly, helpful employees.
