Usually eat at their location on Forest Park, but was in the area and wanted to try them out. My friend and I ate here for a late lunch, and the food was as good as I expected from a Tommy's Hamburgers. Seems like the seating area was a little smaller than the other location, but we easily found a secluded table away from the other patrons. Service was prompt and professional. Will most definitely eat here again if ever in the area. The restaurant seemed clean and well-maintained.

My wife and I were out running around taking care of last minute errands in the cultural district and it was time for dinner. We decided we didn't want anything fancy saw Tommy's coming up on the right side of us and it fit the bill perfectly. We LOVE Tommy's and my wife especially loves their chicken salad sandwiches on wheat. After looking at their menu, my wife, of course opted for the chicken salad sandwich on wheat and I settled on their catfish dinner. Both of our entrees were accompanied with Tommy's house cut French fries. Both of our entrees were awesome along with the attentive service by our server. My wife LOVED her sandwich and I've never met a catfish I didn't like. To say the least, there was nothing left on either of our plates. We left Tommy's with VERY happy tummies. We will be back VERY soon to snag one of their incredible award winning burgers next time.

I discovered Tommy's about 10 years ago, but haven't gotten back in quite some time, but one visit reminded me why I've always considered this one of the best burgers in the Metroplex! Every great burger has to start with a great beef patty, and that's Tommy's strength! A thick, we'll grilled, well-seasoned 1/2 pound patty is what this burger is all about. On my recent visit, I went with the Jalapeno Cheddar Burger - hold the Tomato, and it was popping with flavor. That said, I think the best way to have this burger may be the traditional, old-school, mustard-onion-pickle and go no further. That way you can best appreciate the star of the show that's underneath it all. Still, there are plenty of good dressed-up burgers, if that's to your liking. My top recommendations along with the Jalapeno Cheddar are the Blue Angel (blue cheese and bacon) and the Green Chili Goat Cheese, and there's also Catfish and the Bunless Burger Salad for those that are vegetarian or gluten-free. The Fries are a good compliment, but not outdone by equally tasty Onion Rings. If you want to kick-it-up, go for the Frog Fries, which are Fries covered in Cheese and Grilled Onions and Jalapeno. They also offer Tater Tots, Fried Okra, Corn Nuggets, Fried Zucchini and Cheddar Poppers both as an appetizer, or side (some for an upcharge). Tommy's now has 3 locations in Fort Worth, but make your first visit to the original location on Camp Bowie which, although they have expanded, still has the homey, small burger joint vibe.

Cold Miller lite from the draft. Ordered burgers, chips, and onion rings. Service is spot on. No waiting on her to take our order. Burgers were thick and tasty. Chips and rings were also good. They do have a tv with baseball on. Old school ambience. Nothing dressy.

This is the front of Tommy's Hamburgers on Camp Bowie on the date of November 9th, 2023.

This is just a brief review. I just went there to use the restroom on my way to another place where I have a scheduled job interview. I had just gotten off the bus. It's raining, windy and overcast. And, so, I just definitely needed to use the restroom to freshen up. But, most importantly, to pee. When I walked in there, the lady working behind the counter looked at me without smiling. I smiled and asked if they had a restroom. She asked me if I was going to eat there. I said "no." She said I'd have to eat there if I am going to use the restroom. Then, before I could reply, she said they don't have a restroom open to the public, but that I can use it. And that it's up to me. She could have just said "no." I've worked at restaurants, so I understand. My feelings would have been hurt or something like that, but I understand restaurant restroom policies. But it's her saying that I could use it as well after at first saying "no." It's the inconsistency of the matter. Had she said "no," maybe I would have been back to eat (spending money) or not. But now I don't know if I will. The saying "yes" after saying "no" made it a situation where I don't know if I would want to spend money at that restaurant. And it's a restaurant---a business; It's for profit. That's not a way to sell a business to a new costumer. Just putting it out there. Let's say I am to be hired at the place where I am going to be interviewed. I love hamburgers. The place I am interviewing at doesn't serve hamburgers. If I were to start earning paychecks, I would have probably bought food at that restaurant fairly regularly. Now I don't know.

Came here about a week ago and finally are posting. I haven't been to this place in a long time. Couldnt remember if it was sit yourself, order at the counter, or wait to be seated. Its self seating. It would have been nice to see a sign saying that so I didn't stand there looking confused. Went and sat in a booth. The lady that was our server could have been a litter nicer. Would have given this 5 stars if she would have been a little nicer. Got there corn nuggets with ranch. They were really good. I highly recommend them. Also got there junkyard burger. Wish they had the description of what's it the burger o. The menu. It has a little bit of everything. Since I'm a picky person, I did get them without mushrooms, mustard, or onions. The burger turned out great. Big enough that I did have to take half the burger home. Was just as good when I reheated it later. My sister also got these mini burgers with fries. She got these because she eats small meals and could enjoy her burgers throughout the day. It's not a bad place to get a burger at.

Nonetheless, I truly do feel that Rodeo Goat does it differently. Came here after work with some friends. There's quite an assortment of creative options. I opted for the Hot Bastard. To make it even more interesting, I got it with the Impossible Patty (per recommendation). Now, upon first bite, there's not an immediate heat. However, it slowly creeps up. It creeps up to the point where you do find yourself looking for a glass of water or just anything to help settle the heat. That's what I loved the most about this burger. Maybe it was the fresno peppers. Maybe it was the habanero cheddar. Whatever it was, I loved it. Now, in terms of the patty, I thought it was great quality. I haven't tried their beef patties to use as a comparison but I still enjoyed the burger very much with the impossible patty. Only qualm about it was that the patty did give way about halfway through. Though, I find that's on par with a good messy burger. Overall, would come again, especially with the immense variety. The next time, I will definitely look to try the Radio Goat - every purchase supports KERA, the local NPR station!

It's a seat-yourself restaurant, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. There are lots of burger options to choose from, so there's something for just about everyone. One suggestion would be to add a dedicated toppings section to the menu. When building your own burger, it's difficult to know all of the available topping choices. The only downside to our visit was that there was a very large dog dining inside the restaurant. The staff allowed the dog's water bowl to be placed on the table, and while the dog remained on a leash, several employees stopped to pet it before returning to refill drinks, deliver food, or check on guests. That wasn't something I was comfortable with and took away from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Apparently they are a former food truck that now runs the kitchen inside of Crystal Springs Hideaway. I ended up sitting at the bar with the Lindas (there were three of them). It was early in the day so I did not join them for a drink, I was just getting out to try something new and support the North Texas Food Bank. The special for burger week was the Zaddy which came with pickled red onion, lettuce, goat cheese, fresh jalapenos and raspberry jam on a potato bun. Their burgers are 1/4 and unfortunately the meat got completely lost under so much going on. Goat cheese and raspberry are powerful flavors and the jalapeno slices were thicker than the patty. I didn't even taste the pickled red onions. The very last bite was more meat than topping and I could actually taste the beef. It is a shame because it was really good. The quality of the meat and the sear on the burger were well done. Their regular priced burgers range from $10.50 to $14, and sides are extra. It is pretty steep for a 1/4 lb burger, and I would suggest something with a bit less flair.
