One of my favorite places in Gettysburg! Great pizza, great wings, great subs and get this... The best beer selection in town! So many heady craft beers on tap and for carry out. Even growler fills. I wish they could get a new building to have a bigger resturant and have a bar it would be the best bar in town. Their subs are redo culturally good. When I was living in FL and visiting I literally bought a couple subs and took me home with me on the plane. I had a Tommy's menus framed hanging on my wall on FL. Their pizzas are amazing as well. Tommy's is a mom n' pop pizza location in downtown Gettysburg. The inside was clean and all the staff were friendly. The pizza was homemade, and it was awesome. In addition to pizza they also have fresh salads. We tried the Greek salad, tuna salad, and chef salad and they were all excellent. They also have a wide selection of subs. Prices, for a tourist town were very reasonable (i.e. 10" pizza for $7, each topping 99cents extra, salads between $6.50 and $8.00). We were very happy with our dinner and would definitely come here again if visiting Gettysburg. read more

I grew up in Gettysburg and Tommy's is always my first stop when I go to visit my parents. The pizza is thin crust and uniquely delicious in a way you have to try to understand. I love the cheeseburger subs and my husband always gets the stromboli. They also sell six packs of Yuengling and any other beer you could want. They have tons of cozy booths if you want to eat in or a drive through window for easy take out. Wonderful in every way! read more

Tommy's is a long time family tradition for us! We always get the sausage pizza! They also do *great* when you're ordering for large groups!! No big tables for large groups over 9 people. But we order the pizzas and take them to Devil's Den for a large group picnic. read more

My girlfriend and I ate here about a week ago and were not impressed. We ordered an extra cheese with light sauce, and this place did not know the meaning of light sauce. It looked sloppy, so I took it back to the counter and was met with an attitude from the girl working, when I asked if they could remake it. She rolled her eyes and took it back to the kitchen, and then the manager comes out saying that that is light sauce, and that's the best they could do without putting the sauce on the side. My hometown pizza place knows how to make a pizza with light sauce, but I guess if you've never had good pizza before then you'd think this place is something special. read more

It's an plain old pizza parlor with great pizza and very cheap prices compared to the rest of the city. The inside is nothing to talk about really, it looks old and a bit dirty, and the seats aren't very comfortable. If I can give them no stars I would. First time in the area, and was recommended by someone to try this place, and it was the worst. Asked for stuff to go with my food, and they couldn't even do that, and then ordered mild wings, and they were hot, but you know people there want to believe there own workers. I asked them nicely to replace them, or refund me for the wings they can't even do that, and kept arguing with us that there were mild. We know the difference. They need to learn how to make a customer happy if they ever want someone to come back, so don't even bother with them. read more

After being away from Gettysburg for 30 years, I've learned that it's not the same quality of pizza you used to get from Tommy's when it was at the college. The crust was greasy and the sauce was a little too thick and sweet for my taste. I thought the cheese tasted a little funny until I learned that they throw in white cheddar into the blend. We walked into the door and it was busy so we thought it should be good. You go to the counter and order plus pay then get a num and sit. On the slip they ask for tip when all they do is take a order. My husband and me both got subs on some very hard bread. My steak was a steak-um that was 7.00 and burnt. I love their turkey subs, however, the last time I ordered a sub, I got it home and realized it was not what I had ordered. I called back to Tommys, they made me a new sub, I picked it up (and opened it at the counter..) WRONG AGAIN. Went there last night for some pizza and beers. Got the pepperoni and jalapeño pizza, which was very tasty. Could have been a bit bigger, but for only $12 was still reasonably priced. I was most impressed by not only the awesome selection of craft beers on tap, but also how affordable they were. Where I'm from, craft beers upwards of 10% in alcohol content are usually at least $8, and the priciest beer at Tommy's was $5. Great potential. Unfortunately screwed up our order (after asking us to repeat 3 times). We ordered supreme, which is pretty heavy on meat. The pizza we received was tomato and spinach. Quite a variation, so I'm guessing some veggie lover also got an unpleasant surprise if switched with ours. Other pizza was right type but undercooked so crust still doughy.
