I've never had a bad burger here and always order the smash patties - I just enjoy them more. Two burgers and two beers were less than $50 with a tip - can't beat that in a tourist town. We'll be back soon!

We always are cheerfully greeted, and we are seated immediately because it was right after lunch and right before the dinner rush and we sat in the bar area on a high top and it worked out perfectly. Our server was outstanding. She came over got our drink order and if we wanted any appetizers which we did not get this time, but let me just say their appetizers are to kill for they are outstanding. As you can see in the photos, the burgers are done right they are nice and juicy and the toppings are just right in the buns are so fresh. It's crazy. So if you're in the Gettysburg Square area, we highly and I mean highly recommend stopping in here for either a burger or one of their other options which are all really good food well prepare prepared.

The initial service experience was satisfactory. **Issue Regarding Beverage** During the course of the meal, a mixed beverage was ordered for my wife. Upon service, the drink was found to be prepared in a manner that rendered it excessively sweet and not palatable. The issue was brought to the attention of the waitstaff, with a request that the item be removed from the final invoice due to the product not meeting reasonable standards for consumption. **Resolution and Conclusion** Management declined the request to remove the item from the bill, notwithstanding our objection regarding the quality of the preparation. Consequently, the full cost of the beverage remained on the final check. While the initial greeting and seating process were efficient, the refusal to address the concern regarding the beverage resulted in a disappointing conclusion to the visit. Though this establishment has other reviews also reflecting their policy not to remove such unsatisfactory items from the check, be aware of this lowered customer service standard before dining there. We will not be returning.

My wife and I both had the shrimp baskets and two soft drinks for lunch. The shrimp baskets were $17 each and the soft drinks $3 each. With tax and tips the total bill came to $50. The shrimp were obviously pre-battered and frozen but they were pretty tasty. The french fries had some kind of a nice crispy coating and were excellent. The coleslaw was pretty tired. The service was cordial and quick. The decor is as I remembered very nice. There is free parking behind this restaurant, but not many people know it is there. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I think that the cost of the luncheon was a little more than it should've been for what we received. Had the shrimp been coated with a batter and fried from scratch (instead of being taken out of a frozen bag) I might've been able to award five stars. But... All in all this restaurant continues to hold its "very good to excellent" reputation for food and service over many years. I would die there again and I would recommend it with no reservations.

We were there on a busy Saturday; they were clearly slammed and probably understaffed, and it took a bit over 20 minutes after ordering to get our food. Other than the wait for the kitchen, the service at the table was very good. It felt a bit pricey at about $62 for two with tip. Cheesesteaks were good but on the small side for $17 and $19 (the latter on a gluten‑free bun), and a little light on the Cheese Whiz. That, plus a cider and a Coke, left the overall experience somewhat underwhelming.

He said that "You are transported back in time the moment you step into the place." He was not wrong. Though it was late evening, there were still tons of people waiting to get in. We were starving but figured the wait must mean the food was worth it and...it was! We chose first available and were seated at the bar in the corner. It was nice because we didn't wait long to be served and we had I nice view of the entire restaurant. A very rustic place that looked as I would imagine it did in 1863. My friend ordered a Caesar salad, fillet, and a baked potato. The salad came with a freshly baked yeast dinner roll. Fillet was cooked to perfection. I ordered the King's Soup which was French onion soup except with large chunks of tender beef in it. My entree was the Spring House Salad which was mixed greens, apples, walnuts, chipped smoked turkey, with herb dressing and it was divine. The sleeper of the meal was the datenut bread with cream cheese that came with my salad. A dark brown molasses bread with dried fruit and nuts. It was so chocked full of nuts and fruit while the dough was the most moist bread I've ever had. I couldn't eat both pieces after the meal so took it in a to go container. I ate it on the drive home and it was still moist and delicious.

At least at ABC, we could wait in their outdoor beer garden area. While it started as a fall back plan, it turned out to be great! The menu is varied and has something for everyone. I got their hot honey calzone, which was delicious. My wife was very happy with her burger. And they had mac and cheese for my three year old Mac and cheese connoisseur. It was good Mac and cheese. I had a cider outside in the beer garden and a stout inside. Both were good. They had some more adventurous options, too, though those weren't what I ordered. We were having such a good time that my wife and I decided to share a root beer float made with their own craft root beer for dessert. Yum! The food, drinks, and service are all great. The vibe is lively but orderly and family friendly. A great experience.

The ground at the Farnsworth Inn where the restaurant is is covered in wood chips; meaning the feet do NOT lay level on the ground. That was bad; worse was the brain dead girl who saw my blood on my hand and knee ( my knee was bad) and instead of saying "let me tell me manager and are you OK?" She says DUMBLY, "Sorry". this did no good at all obviously. I would not eat there until they level the ground the chairs are on outside and hire intelligent helpful people. "Sorry" was NOT what I wanted to hear. Care for me and the future people who gently lean back in their chairs to relax and then crash into a bed of bricks and rocks is the correct approach. Really really bad place
