I have been going here since I started my company years ago. I have to go to the land fill allot so nails in tires is so common and eventually I just cant plug anymore. So instead of spending crazy money on tires that are just going to get trashed I go to Tommy's. Everytime I have went they have taken really great care of me. Always a great used tire and they get it done fast and throughly. Never trys to up sell me just gives it to me straight. Today I went in and had them do 4 tires I told him what I wanted told him how much cash I had and I just sat back for 38 minutes and let them do the work. I didnt even look at the tires he was putting on until after I paid. He even charged me less by a long shot I felt. I would have paid more and not had a problem just simply because it was honest and fast which is exactly what I wanted. Tires are perfect for construction remodeling hauling pallets of wood and tile and still will be great for snow or mud if needed. If I had 10 thumbs I would give them 10 thumbs up! I've worked at tire shops in the past and know what is right and what is wrong. I'd like to give the props where due and thats for getting the tires on without scratching the wheels, but once I got back to my house to fit the wheels I noticed that 3/4 tires were not completely seated to the face of the wheel. I decided instead of going somewhere to fill them with air until they popped up I'd take them back and hopefully they'd fix their mess up, but no I returned and asked to get them properly seated but was told I was seeing an "illusion" but it's pretty obvious to see that they were not fully all the way around. Paid 140 which seems steep from where I usually go so I expected a bit better customer service. read more

The owner is an ass. He talks down so bad to his staff in front of customers for simple mis-pricing, after one of his staff went out of his way to make sure I was helped. The taller, bald gentleman with tattoos that works there was great and handled the mistreatment with poise and class while being berated like toddler. Would not recommend to anybody My tire popped on the interstate in the middle of the night , I had it towed to Tommy's tires so they could fix my tire. I paid cash and was never provided a receipt. 6 days later the same wheel completely fell off of my car while I was doing 60+ on the interstate. I called Tommy's tires at 9 am the next day to ask if they would tow my car to their shop to fix it or explain what happened. They told me all day the owner Tom would call me, never received a call, my car sat on the side of the interstate while I was waiting for a phone call from Tom to rectify this situation. Some junkies ended up stealing my catalytic converter and in turn also cut my drive shaft. Totaled the car. I have a video of a technician from Tommy's tire driving my car on the bare rim because it was "too cold" to replace the tire where the tow truck parked it. Would not recommend this place to anybody. I am still yet to receive any contact from the owner and am pursuing legal actions at this point. This place is a joke of a business. DO NOT take your car here. they screwed me over big time, my tire popped and they repaired it, 6 days later my whole rim falls off and essentially totals my car. at dinner w some friends and bring tommys tires up and both of them had stories from their fathers of how Tommy is a cheap dirtbag and had screwed them over. one of the fathers was a pastor and was so frustrate/screwed over that he physically assaulted Tommy. very good man reduced to behavior like that from poor/criminal practices. I've been doing business with Tommy's for 21 years. At times they seemed kind of wishy washy, but good used - cheap tires nonetheless. So between late 2012 and late 2013, due to job loss and severe budget constraints, I had to replace all 4 tires on my SUV. Since they are performance tires wrapped around 20" rims, Tommy's was the only one in town who had used tires in that size, and in my budget. Well I went someplace to get an alignment recently, and they couldn't do it because unbeknownst to me, one of the four tires I was sold was a 745/40, instead of a 745/45. So I drove straight to Tommy's, pointed it out to them, and without arguing, or having to plead a case, THEY MADE IT RIGHT! Not only that, since they didn't currently have any used tires in that size in the yard, they gave me a brand new one! Didn't have to pay the difference or anything! Terrible. Room mate needed a battery. Called them and they didn't have one but to call back in a couple of hours. Called back and told him no not yet call back again. Finally drove over there and they sell him a dead battery. When he tried to return it, the guy was on the phone and not even paying attention. Tried to give him $15 when he paid $50. Best tire shop in town if you can get over the area of town and some of the weirdos you might run in to. Have been going for over 10 years and have never had a poor experience. Being a car guy, I've had a lot of vehicles with aftermarket rims and tires that are a little bit weirder than OEM equipment. They have taken extra special care every time to assure the rims don't get damaged or scratched. Was able to take a set of rims and tires there at close on a Friday in desperate need of immediate service, paid cash and had them mounted in less than 30 minutes. Sent an ex-gf there who got a nail in her tire and was rolling on a donut and they mounted a used tire for $25. Will continue going here as long as I drive. read more

I found myself in Omaha, this weekend and I had an issue that was very pressing as I am from Lincoln,Nebraska. I needed tire service very quickly...so I stopped in Tommy Tires, located at 60th Street and Ames in Omaha, I met with the general manager there his name is Troy, I just wanted to go on record and say that the service that I received in care of my ES 350 Lexus was Top Notch... he saw to my needs... he told me what the cost would be before any work was done... I was in there and out of there in under 35 /40 minutes tops everything is 100% to my liking, I couldn't let this go without saying how appreciative I am of Troy and his fine staff at Tommy Tires. It should be noted that multiple people came in after me, maybe a half a dozen or so and it was after 5 p.m. but he promised'um that if they got there by 5:30 he would see them and see to their needs... everyone was treated with kindness and dignity and respect...everyone was treated better than fair, some people just we're going to leave without any services so he worked with him "as best he could".... to get them on their way... leaving his establishment much safer than when they arrived. I have Jeep Rubicon and I couldn't decide on what tires/wheels I wanted. I stopped by on a Saturday and they spent about an hour with me going over tires/wheels and what would be the best fit. A few weeks later, I stopped in again because I was still undecided and Zach and Eric were a huge help in finalizing what I wanted to go with.
