I love toffee! And when I say, love, I mean, LOVE!!! I discovered Tomo Toffee at a big Yelp event and the owners were handing out samples. Omg!! They were delicious!!! They're crispy, buttery and not too sweet. But what makes them stand out from other butter toffees is that the texture is light. I can't explain it but it's like they're fluffy. Not hard to bite into. I love the traditional milk chocolate but their season flavors are unique and very good. I've only had the pumpkin spice and the s'mores. I didn't think I would enjoy the s'mores one but, man!!! The marshmallows are perfection!!! They're baked like campfire style so they've got that crisp on the outside yet chewy on the inside. Drool!!! They don't have a store front, they sell online off their website. They do sell at select shops (for locations, check their website). I was excited to try Tomo Toffee after seeing the glowing reviews on yelp and also seeing it sold at Inklings. I ordered three 1/2 lb bags ($15 each) of toffee via email. I was impressed with how seamless it was to pay via Venmo and then get my toffee with free delivery the next day. So far I've tried the s'more toffee, which is not pictured because I ate it all. I loved the toffee paired with graham crackers, chocolate, and toasted marshmallows, and I am now a true believer in Tomo Toffee. My husband came home with a jar of toffee from an event he was at. I hadn't heard of Tomo Toffee but loved the packaging and love toffee, so I was happy. From the first bite I knew it was dangerous to have this jar within arms reach because it would be gone before the night was over. Tomo Toffee reminds me of a softer, fresher, more decadent Almond Roca. And I LOVE ALMOND ROCA. I got a 1/2 lb. bag to start out with and I plan on buying a lot more for people during the holidays. Even with nuts, it breaks easily when you bite and the chocolate melts in your fingers if you hold it too long. It is... so good. Just the perfect amount of sweetness. Literally the best toffee I've ever had (and I've had plenty in my life so far), with the perfect balance of toffee, nuts and chocolate. It's got the ideal toffee crunch--not soggy/sticky to cling to your teeth and not so hard that you worry you will lose a tooth. It's sooo good that I have to stop myself from buying it too frequently bc it's super addictive--can't stop eating it! They make fabulous gifts too--I sent my brother in law two bags, one for him and one for his dad (since I didn't think he liked to eat a lot of sweets), and apparently my bil ate it all within a few days, barely allowing his wife and kids to have any. Fortunately, he's not diabetic...yet.
