I enjoy the selection but miss the big guy who worked behind the counter. He was always nice and cool to talk to.

I just moved to Fountain and everybody at Tom's is nice, and very helpful. I've never been so happy or drunk in my life.

I love this place! The other liquor store in Fountain is so dirty with a minimal selection. We always go to Tom's!

King's Liquor is a small, privately owned business, that just recently changed ownership a year…read moreago. However, its location has been around for well over 30 years. There were a total of three owners, all of whom were military retired. Each served in the Vietnam war and Desert Storm. When I first walked into the store in 2017, I thought I was in the Vietnam war. There were lights and seasonal decorations up above, a wall shaped in a 'U' form and no other direction to walk around or exit. The feeling was quite claustrophobic. You had to wait while others shop due to the lack of space. The new owner is Clifton King. He saw the potential of this store and purchased it with new eyes. Mr. King had remodeled the store back in July with proper shelving that he bought from Toys-R-Us. With this fresh new look, it allowed customers to walk around the store easier and find alcohol better. Also, new employees were hired to give better service. The store is due for more remodeling in 2019. This store can't compete with the larger stores, when it goes to many beers and alcohol choices, but it does have class. A lot of the customers enjoy the convince it provides. The store location is prime. It is near 3 different apartments and surrounded by old and new housing developments. Customers stop in from work before going home or walk just a few blocks away. Many of the other Liquor stores, customer need a vehicle to get to the because of their located on major highways or shopping complexes. I would recommend if your ever in the area, stop on into King's Liquor, say hello to the owner, and shake his hand. He's really a cool guy to meet.
