Autozone replaced the existing battery without testing it and charged us $280. We later called and asked to have them test the old battery. They said the battery was good as we also thought. We asked if they Would take the new battery back they refused saying it was not their policy. When we called Valvoline on West Genessee they admitted the diagnostic tool was not used correctly and apologized for the mistake, but would not offer any further assistance or credit. So buyer beware of these two businesses who aren't very customer centric.

I talked to Jeff True, Service Manager, who very courteously assured me that would not be a problem. When I arrived, Mr. True met me. He was as professional in person as on the phone. He was courteous and listened when I told him what services I had scheduled and would he mind explaining the functions. He explained in detail what would be done and about how long it would take. I was extremely impressed that Mr. True spent the time explaining the services in detail and answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. After my interaction with Mr. True in the future, I will schedule services but only if he is there. I think the online appointment system is not working properly. I've schedule another alignment for SUN 7/14/25 SUN at 12pm for another location. Let's see how it will go. A 2nd time will confirm my thoughts about the unprofessional approach to the appointments. Probably they short stuffed, but it's their problem to check and combine with the In progress and scheduled work!
