Even though I only came in for a haircut, she took the time to give me honest advice about my hair. She recommended that I should focus on treating and restoring my hair first, and then come back next time for coloring so the results would look better and healthier. What really impressed me was her thoughtfulness -- she noticed that my roots had grown out unevenly in color, so she went ahead and blended the color to match the rest of my hair. And she didn't charge me anything extra for it, only for the haircut. You can truly tell that she cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. It's naturally curly and light brown, which I haven't seen in 30 years. I bleached it out diet, baby pink, and get extension extensions put in this takes me four appointments. They are really really close to me and so I really really lucked out. Note to anyone who has never been there before, there is always parking right in front. It has a green painted curb though that says it's only 10 minutes, but it doesn't matter. It's fine. You can be there forever. It's fine I promise. Can I go to the nail shop next-door which doesn't really good job too. OK, back to Salon Domane things that I like about them is that I also go there every week with my mother like I said who just turned 80 and has Alzheimer's and jenn is so awesome that she's really booked so now I've seen two or three other stylist for her getting her hair washed and set or colored and they're all good with her. Everyone's really nice. And they have a good system that text messages me with confirmation confirmations and reminders, which is helpful because, well ADHD and stuff. Marissa is Jenny's assistant and she's really awesome too. They use really good products. It's a not a big place. Maybe like 12 stations. So it's not cheap, but it's totally not expensive either. I think it's appropriate. And for me who does extensions, she lets me get my own and bring them in and uses them which saves me money so I appreciate that but I recommend jenn for anything that is "different " as in hair color or styles. She hasn't had "natural" colored hair since I've met her and I haven't since I can remember either so I got lucky that she was the one available when I called to make an appointment with someone because I first found them through Instagram anyways. Lol this is long but that's me. Ashley is really nice, too. I really appreciate how patient they are with me and my mom. I've had to cancel last minute and even I have no showed before and I wasn't charged, which is very generous... Don't do it! Lol but yeah. Everyone's independent I think so. Just find who you like or just call and get the first person available cause I'm sure they'll be good. Sarah takes her time when it comes to the application of color and is super detailed and takes HER TIME. You do not feel rushed in the process and she makes you feel like you are really taken care of. This new location of hers is by far my favorite, it is right on PCH and is so nice to be at especially when I have plans right after, a quick stop at her salon and dinner by the beach is an amazing Saturday. 20/10 recommend coming to her for hair, color, cut, extensions you name it she can do it!

Update! Linh did it again!!!…read moreWith my first hair cut, I was conservative and did not cut off much of the length...but this time I said let's go short (which is truly my preferred length). I am always nervous about cutting my hair short because with my natural curls, the shape of my hair cut matters and I had a hard time finding someone who KNOWS how to cater to my preferred shape. Linh again took the time to listen to my wants, needs, and concerns and she DELIVERED ON THE CUT/SHAPE. My naturally curly hair is shaped perfectly with minimal styling effort. I am so happy!! Also ~ still the sweetest, still a great vibe, and the salon is still very relaxing!
