If I could give a 10 out of 5 I would. I am so thankful I met Kyra, I have struggled my whole life with my hair. I am blessed and have thick, coarse, long hair, and grows extremely fast. Although the stylist was sweet , the experience wasn't. In my past experiences I have never left a bad review to a stylist , they have always done a job good enough to keep me happy until the next visit. I went to Cat since I was recommended by the Owner . I initially found them as a Extension Promo deal on FB , but decided not to move forward with that since I like low maintenance on my hair. When I arrived at the salon I showed 2-3 pics of my Inspiration . I "didn't specifically ask" for a half or full application, I said this is the Picture and this is what I would love . I told her I like low maintenance on hair and she got to work . Please see pics attached of inspiration . And see for yourself. Although I loved my hair initially , because who doesn't love their hair in what they are able to view initially at the top , but going into week 2 green tones were coming out after my first wash , and less than 1 month into my hair being done , I had it cut at a friends salon "shown on pics " and I was informed by 2 other stylist there that "color correction is needed on my hair " I told them I had recently dye it and this is what it washed out too, they said the tones were so off right below my top layer as shown in picture . Upon reaching out to the Owner and Cat to see if it can get fixed their response was this " We provide what the client wants and pays for. You're more than welcome to come in with Cat and pay for the other half if you would like" . " Yesenia, These are the texts you send 5 days after your hair was done with Cat. "I love my hair" We provide what the clients asks and pays for. Again if you would like to do a full or the other half you're more than welcome to pay for the difference. It has been a month since you have been in with us. We pride ourselves on giving our clients exactly what they are wanting and from your messages to me I see Cat has done that." So I will let you be the judgement if this looks like the Inspiration picture I requested , and if is anything "that a client would ask for" as they state. And to make matters worse they are now claiming they did not do my hair . Wow do I need to post my Zelle to verify I was a client . This is what made me give a review they are treating me as if I don't know shit about my hair or what I'm asking for , as if I don't know what is a balanced good job, as if I didn't want to pay for a job we'll done. They are throwing this on me as if it's my mistake and even lying that this isn't their work . WTF So If you don't know what Half or Partial looks like , take a look at my hair . They did a partial and the bottom half looks like a horrible mess as if I did it in Supercuts or a cosmo school. Yes I was scheduled to return , but after being made aware of how bad my bottom half and back looked I immediately compliant and they DID NOT take any responsibility for my hair . So nope I don't recommend this salon since not only did they throw blame at me but didn't care to even fix it . Didn't care to take care of the client and provide a positive experience for a return client and more referrals . I don't care how successful you are , you treat every client as your first and you make sure you leave them a very positive experience. Pictures don't lie , and this is 3.5 weeks after , after 4 washes. Less than a month and my hair didn't last . My hair was done on 4/4 so you tell me if you would be one happy camper with how their answering your concerns and with these results .... so be careful when choosing them. They are sweet to get you in but won't take accountability to fix the job and they will deny you were even serviced there . read more
