The Avenue Dental is not a place you want to select for your dental needs. I am left with a bill that I have never paid with my insurance for routine CLEANING. I want to leave my objective experience with Avenue Dental. I had sent the office all my images/X-rays including panoramic images that were taken prior to the visit. The visit was for cleaning. For some reason not known to me they took X-rays and I was told that the office does this and I will not be charged. They billed the insurance with my Gold Cigna Plan and received payment in full at 100% coverage. And then they sent me a bill of $94 for X-rays. So all in all they want to receive a huge payment for routine cleaning. Please find other dentists who are plentiful in and near Suwanee/Cumming/nearby areas and who care for patients: and most importantly where you do not have to pay a dime for routine cleaning with any dental insurance. I will say their estimates for costs have been more then a bit off both times in the beginning. We delayed both times due to what seemed to be way too high of a cost when quoted and asked if it was right . Both times they told us it was so we decided to wait and eventually we got a call or a requote that was much more reasonable. I'd like to think it was just a mistake and not an attempt to just charge more the first time. The care and visits have been good. My youngest boys teeth have already seen much improvement in just a short time!
