Had a layover in Baltimore (BWI) and Southwest departure out of A14. Tony + Benny's was just a short walk away. They had a lot of slices, Stromboli's, and various pastas ready. I grabbed a couple of slices of pepperoni, while my son ordered a Pepperoni Stromboli and a small baked Ziti. All of our food was delicious. The servers were friendly, but a bit apathetic. I'm sure I'd be the same working at an airport and at the end of the shift. They offered a few soft drinks and bottled drinks like Gatorade, but we grabbed water to refill our bottle from the fountain nearby and a beer near our gate for me. Tim liked the Stromboli best, and the slices were tasty. I asked for them to reheat the slices, but the server told me that the pizza just came out of the oven. The pizza was a solid choice, and the crispy crust didn't flop, which is a big plus for me. Even though it was pepperoni, the pizza wasn't too oily either. I'm a pizza snob from North Jersey. I saw the sign for Tony and Bennys, never heard of them but the pizza didn't look terrible so I had a slice. Not bad for a neighborhood pizza place, but great for an airport pizza place! Staff was friendly and I would go there again. read more

When I was at BWI for an early morning flight a week ago, it seemed like every business had such long lines. I just wanted a coffee and anything to eat, so I was looking around for any place that was open and had a shorter line than the businesses at the food court. I found Tony + Benny's across from my gate, and they have coffee and they have breakfast strombolis (one vegetarian with spinach and one with meat). The breakfast stromboli was so hot, I saved it to eat on the plane after boarding. It was fine - a huge portion and the bread a little doughy and thick. But fine for a quick breakfast on the go. If you need a really quick bite at the airport before your flight and Tony + Benny's is on your terminal, it's not a bad spot for a breakfast and coffee on the go. read more

Fast and fresh! Food is hot and pizza is made in house. Service was also good. Plenty of options for being an airport location. Portions were also good...again for being an airport location! I didn't have super high hopes for airport pizza, but this was a bit of a dissapointment. I was there right around lunch time and they only had two pizzas out, one looked like an overcooked cheese pizza and one was a buffalo chicken. I went with buffalo chicken, they tossed it in the oven, but took it out way too soon so it was still cold. I then went to grab a fountain drink and they were only had three options in stock, the majority were out of stock. Tony and Bennie's is everything you would expect and a little bit more from a pizza place in an airport. The food is hot, it's pretty good and better than you expect again at an airport. Service staff is young, well, trained, and attentive. They do what they're supposed to do. They get you in and out quickly. Great quick service and great food. The lady talking orders was loud and focused. She answered menu questions promptly and loudly so other customers in line could hear also. I stop by this place and grab a slice from time to time and it is OK, sometimes even good--but today was quite different. I fancied a slice of pie prior to my flight and walked up to the counter to discover the pizza piled together on a pan as if slated for disposal (see photo). It was 4pm so they certainly were not cleaning up at the end of the day. I was confused as to why such an unappealing heap of pizza was being proffered for purchase when the man working the counter asked me what I wanted. "I don't know," I said. " these slices look old, very small and not very appetizing." "Well that's the way it be," was his reply. Not the best, FAR from Brooklyn, but not half bad for airport food. They have a pretty good combo deal for a slice of pizza, a side (I chose a tossed salad) and a drink for under $10.00, which is almost unheard of in an airport. Their line seemed to move a lot quicker than some of the other "food court" options, which is also a bonus when you're hungry, but "just passing through," without too much time to spare. I just left an awesome week long conference in Connecticut and had a flight change here in Baltimore. This is my first time here. I was in a "feel good" mood and felt great about my week, until I made it to the cashier. Completely appalled at the EXTREME LACK of customer service and PEOPLE SKILLS. The GM, Andrea, as well as the cashier, Shanise, should not be serving the customers. I ordered an entree that came with a side and a drink. Apparently I was supposed to know the fountain machine was attempting to be repaired by Andrea. They handed me a water and I told them I wanted a Dr. Pepper. They looked at me and said "she's trying to fix the machine." They then charged me for a 20 ounce dr.pepper and told me I had to pay because I asked for it. I told them I didn't want to pay for a drink that came with my entree, so they rolled their eyes and gave me my $1 back. They then handed me my combo and there was a big piece of hair on it. Clearly it wasn't mine. I immediately forgave them for that in my mind, but again they weren't sorry. I received a clean piece of pizza and listened to Shanise and Andrea talk about me for the next 15 minutes. A passerby apologized on behalf of them and offered to buy me a Dr. Pepper. Andrea then brought me her name and email as if she was sticking up for herself because she heard me ask for her name. As I ate, I saw her eating and drinking near the food. Again, this isn't about the fountain machine being broken or the hair, I am reasonable and understand things happen. HOWEVER, as a leader and professional, I cannot believe they are "serving" the public. Welcome to Baltimore! P.S. there were 2 other women employees being very nice! read more
