As the only proper breakfast option at the resort, I had the opportunity to have both breakfast and lunch here on two different days. First was lunch. While the panini was delicious, the coleslaw was disappointing and the combo was not worth the price. At any other sandwich type place, the sandwich and salad combo would probably cost about four dollars less than what I paid, plus the cost of drinks. Where you might pay $1.50 for a bottle of water at a grocery store, don't count on that price here. Cold sandwiches also cost a dollar less than hot sandwiches, so I suppose I could have saved a dollar and ordered something that didn't interest me in the slightest to save a few pennies. The next day was for breakfast, which was a little more reasonable than lunch. The scrambled egg combo came with home fries and toast, which were adequate, even though the eggs tasted a little buttery. Add in the cost of a bottle of orange juice, and you've matched the cost of yesterday's sandwich. The home fries were good, but I've certainly had better. I added Tabasco to my breakfast, which turned out to be a somewhat bad idea. If nothing else, it confirmed to me that I will always prefer Frank's over Tabasco. The shop part of the cafe has all the items you would find in most hotel shops, but absolutely nothing has a price tag on it. I shudder to think of what I could have paid if I had an overwhelming need for maple syrup. It's convenient if you can't leave the hotel and want to get your souvenirs right away, but again, "meh, I've seen better" is the most accurate description ever. I should hope after a long day of skiing, you have food already in your room and you won't need to pick anything up here. Basically, if you can get offsite for lunch, skip the deli and save this for breakfast only. I just hope they don't run out of French toast again.

Also a quick stop along #100 to pick up essentials. Produce is hit or miss and can run a bit more $$ but you pay for convenience and some specialty items. Staff are generally friendly in this typical mountain market. I needed veggies for tonight and they were limited today. Grapes were tasty though!

New year, new review…read more Popped in after a morning of skiing New Year's Day and place was packed for lunch! I didn't mind as I was in no rush. As I waited in line I enjoyed conversations with both the people in front and behind me whom all have never been before. The joy and excitement on their faces as they made their way to order was priceless. As for myself, a small mac to help start the new year strong for total lbs sold (81k in 2024) and a small pulled pork. Wanted to order some other things but my refrigerator is full at home, so another time. If this will be your first time, just be aware of parking could be very busy as there's not much. Both ways before pull out of parking spaces as well. Main road can be a cluster at times. I also recommend getting lots of little things rather than a little of a lot. The food came out promptly, with generous portions of nicely prepared food. My omelet was good with the fresh spinach and tomatoes adding some nice contrast to the eggs. the potatoes were good and the raisin toast was excellent. Cup N Saucer is well worth a visit just to experience the old school feel with solid food. The service was good and the server seemed to know all of the other customers as friends and regulars.
