After being fishboned by a distracted Uber driver the hunt began to find a decent honest Autobody shop in my neighborhood. Researched and spoke with several highly rated and recommended places and after meeting with Sal I was convinced we were in the right hands. My repair although not huge was significant enough to have Geico declare my car a total loss. Sal of Tony's took on the job of fixing our rear quarter panel, replacing the rear number and painting the car. The guys at Tony's Autobody were very straightforward about what to expect and delivered on their promises to do an excellent job. The car look better than ever. I worked with Sal at Tony's after someone sideswiped my BMW. I'm a car guy, and my car is one of my favorite things in my life! The first body shop I visited made me extremely concerned that they wouldn't be able to fix the fender flair and bring it back to normal again. Sal was extremely confident in the job, and as a car guy himself, we were able to relate. I trusted in him, and in the other reviews I'd read online for the shop (which is also extremely nice, not like the typical NYC tire repair shed). Less than 2 weeks later, Sal called me to come pick up my car. It looks absolutely stunning and spot on. They matched the color perfectly, and I have no idea if they did any blending even, as it's so spot on. The fender flair looks just like it did before the damage. They did a great exterior/interior detail job as well, and got my insurance deductible reduced too. I wish I had more reasons to go back and work with Tony's again, but hopefully I won't be needing it. Great experience! First time ever I had to go to a body shop and I am actually back in the shop now for a minor ding my car took. It was one of those moments when your heart drops: we found vandalism on our brand new car. All over--every panel, every window, even the roof was covered, and nothing could remove it. That's where Tony (and Sal) come in to save the day. The crew disassembled the entire car, replaced the glass and sunroof, and stripped and repainted every panel to perfection. I was referred to Tony's by a guy at Salerno Service Station on Lorimer, which is normally my go-to auto shop, after finding out that they don't actually do body work. It was 8 in the morning on Monday and I was nervous about getting to work on time. I was in and out in about ten minutes, with a good idea of how long it would take and how much it would cost to repair the major dent by the right headlight of the Nissan Altima I was driving. I got a call early on Tuesday saying the car was ready to be picked up. I came by and was floored by what a great job they did blending the paint and smoothing out the metal. It was impossible to tell that there had been any damage in the first place. Plus, the total came to $100 less than I expected.
