Do Not Give These People Your Money... I spoke with the owner earlier this afternoon in regards to this employee Dee . My husband and I are and have been customers at your store for a long time. I entered your establishment on Tuesday, December 5th in the afternoon, I would say around 3:45-4:00. FIrst of all, I had to wait until Dee was finished taking out boxes before she came to the register. There was a gentleman sitting there, but he did not get up to ring me out. I had to wait. That was the first thing that was wrong. Dee came to the register, did not greet me. like always because she was on the phone and might I add the phone was on speaker. Every time I have come into this store she has been on the phone and with it on speaker. Her conversations are inappropriate, ghetto and very loud all of the time. I was making conversation with her about the price of the item I was purchasing. She then proceeded to tell me to take my a-- Pelham Road if it is that much cheaper. Her cohort on the phone proceeds to tell me to "take my a-- to another store", and Dee said the same thing. "Take your a to Pelham road, I tell all of my customers that." So then I said do you want customers or not, once again the lady that was on speaker phone, because Dee never hung the phone up, got smart as well. So I say, I am not talking to the person on the phone, I am speaking with you. Dee said, "not today, not today," in a threatening tone. SO I said, right not today. She proceeded to call me a bitch, while she was still on the phone. She NEVER hung the phone up and kept it on speaker so her friend could hear and respond nastily as well. She went outside, still cursing. She yelled "f---you" to me and stuck her middle finger up at me several times and then walked toward my car, still cursing. still on the phone and stuck her middle finger up with me. I've never heard "FU" and b---- so much in my life." so many times in my life by this woman. Is this the type of employees that you have working for you? This is not customer service at all. I have never been to a business where the employee stands and talks on the phone when a customer is present. As I have heard from an employee who works at your location in Greer, that no one wants to work with her because they are scared of her. I was also told that I was not the first person who has complained about her and yet she is still there. When I spoke to the gentleman that was there, all he said was "I just work here." and threw his hands in the air and just looked at me. Wow! NO ONE came to my aid. This lady walks around this store and does things like she owns it and no one says anything. And it's like that every time I come in there and she is there. When I told her not to speak to my husband the next time he comes in, she said I will talk to him however and whenever I want because he is my customer. I do not understand why. If these are the type of people that you employ I will not be back. She is totally a disgusting human being who should not be in customer service. I am so offended. Would you like to be treated like that? Are you scared of her also? I am confused. Something needs to be done. Dee Evans, is the worst person I have ever met in my life. If you are losing customers, DEE is why. And for that, I will never be back, because apparently, this is ok since everyone is intimidated by her. Do NOT give these people your money. I am from out of town and was calling around to local stores to see if anyone would/could deliver wine. The reason behind the call was to have wine delivered as a sympathy gift to a friend who's father passed away. I called the store and they said that they do deliver and when I started to ask what the best way to go about picking out the wine and having it delivered to their house was, the girl on the phone burst out laughing at me like I was an idiot and said they don't deliver to residences (in a VERY condescending tone) I thanked her and hung up. I was SO peeved by the incident that I called back and explained to the guy that answered the phone that I was the lady that just called and was laughed off the phone, he knew immediately who I was. I explained to him that the reason behind my call was to send a sympathy gift for someone who had a death in the family and that maybe next time they shouldn't be such assholes. The young man chuckled and sarcastically said sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrry. Maybe I shouldn't have called them assholes, but if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck. hey DA, you do know it is against the law for a retail outlet to deliver ANY type of alcohol don't you? you can however register with a winery as we did and have wine delivered to your address but I bet we couldn't have it sent to a different address. haven't asked but I bet they wouldn't. I work at a restaurant that delivers food but it is a no-no for us to deliver beer or wine .believe me, people ask us to do that all the time. read more
