The gentleman that finished my nails placed the smallest quickest amount of acrylic over my nails I'm sure they will be lifting in no time. I had to ask for several basic things once he told me his was done....like cleaning up the underneath of the nail and asking for a slight trim down in length (just the amount of growth) And I didn't want any nail polish I asked for the buffer to make them shine since I prefer them natural. I had no missing nails that needed to be replaced. The cost was $35 I think in total I was in the chair for 15 minutes And no one asked me what I wanted besides walking in and asking for a fill I'm here on vacation and I would never return or recommend this shop! read more

I just had the worst pedicure I've ever experienced, and I've had many, many over the years! As a first time customer to Wonder Nails I booked my first manicure since the pandemic started, so I was really looking forward to it. I added callous removal since my heels were rough. Anna, the manicurist I got was extremely rough and was scrubbing away on my foot so vigorously that it began to hurt! I asked her to stop and noticed she had pierced the skin and caused an abrasion on my big toe. She did apologize but my toe was already injured. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. There wasn't an owner or manager there unfortunately. Luckily for me the injury didn't get infected but it could have been an extremely dangerous situation in light of nail salon risk in general. Needless to say I will never go back there, and this should serve as a warning to you! read more

Yes, it's a wonder how they're still in business. Had a gel pedi and regular polish mani. done by two techs simultaneously. Tech for mani did an awful job. Cold water soak on fingertips, didn't even out the length on nails, missed a lot of cuticles which needed trimming, all within 15 minutes and with a bad attitude. Gel pedi was ok, except that she used an old, previously-used damp magazine for me to rest my feet on while she did the scrub. It's supposed to be a towel! Gross. Informed the check out person about my observations, but he knew and just said "sowy". The pedi guy didn't receive a tip from me. read more

I'm a French gel nail gal. Never changes. A young lady completed the task. Very, very basic. No hand massage. No cleaning under the nails. A soak, a base coat, a white swipe x2, a top coat and voila! It's over! I ask for an additional coat- and the young lady obliged. She was nice enough. It was not the manicure experience I'm accustomed to- even in the more "economical" shops. The price was $38.00. Shitty service and shitty quality. My mom and I went for gel manicures and my service was so rushed and crappy. She didn't even file/shape or cut my nails. They were also out of the color I picked, and instead of being honest and telling me to pick another, she just tried shoving a different one down my throat. It wasn't until the middle of the manicure that I realized the bottle I chose was empty. At the end of the manicure, she didn't even put cuticle oil or anything. My nails and fingers felt dry and crusty. My mom only got decent service because the lady working on her nails heard me complain about mine, but the girl working on mine was already with another client. Prior to this, my mom picked up a file and started filing her own nails because the lady was too busy gossiping with mine. This wouldn't be so bad if our manicures would have lasted, but one week later, the polish just peeled off the nails on both of us. Basically, this place sucks and we will never return or recommend this to anyone unless they deserve a shitty manicure. read more

This is probably the worst salon in Indio. All their nail polishes were old, including their gel. They added acetone to all the colors and they do not go on properly. When told that I wanted different polish. and showed them 3 different times how bad it was, they argued with me. The polish did not last, not on my hands with the gel and not on my feet with regular. The guy Tony is the biggest jerk in the whole world. I just had major surgery and had 12 inches of my colon removed and I was trying to explain to him that I wanted to have my nail polish removed at the same time as my pedicure. he refused to listen I'm allergic to toxic chemicals so I need the acetone immediately after the polish removal. I've never had anybody treat me so crappy in my life at ANY salon at 62 years of age.. Imagine that? Having someone tell you to GO and GET out after I had serious major surgery recently. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. The manicurist seemed like he was very friendly and embarrassed he'll go along way if he leaves this place! I headed over to A and J Nails in Indio and Kevin the receptionist hooked me up with a fabulous nail artist named Joy. This place is great they actually listen to you and they understand my medical needs and Joy did a fabulous job for even less money and kindness. read more

I guess you have more customers than you need. We got in quickly, and mine was started right away. My friend had to wait until someone was free, so I decided to get an extra ten minutes massage so she could catch up. I checked the clock and the 10 minutes was only 5! I had been going to Tony for awhile and spending lots of money on custom nail art, never really caring how much I spent. ($75-$100 each week) But during the summer months I dont work, and usually take my nails off or just get the minimum.. When I asked how much it was and said I didn't want to spend much, Tony got an attitude, and after that refused to do any nail art, saying "No I cant do that!" then had the nerve to do nail art he wanted (3 stupid like white lines on the edge of my nail, like thats nail art, hell I can do that myself!) and then "EXPECT" me to tip him. I came to wonder nails as it was recommended by my hairdresser. I have been seeking someone who speaks and at least understands English. Salon is spacious and clean so I was hopeful. The girl who did pedi was very unprofessional talking on phone with headset and giggling with coworkers the entire time. I had to stop her twice as she was hurting me with emery board. I enjoyed visiting with her and the pedicure was just perfect! And to address an older review, they DO use a base coat and a Top coat. I'll be visiting Teresa again before I leave town. For starters I've came to tony for years so for me to rate this place 1 stars says a lot. I asked for a full set and I already had picked out my NON gel colors. When Henry over heard me telling my cousin I wasn't doing gel due to me coming back within a week or sooner so I didn't want to spend to much. After he heard me say that he caught a damn attitude!! So the color I had was clearly dried out so he kept adding acid-tone to it, then he has audacity to say my nails where coming out crappy because I didn't chose gel LOL. So I mentioned it most likely had to do with the dry nail polish and he laughed. And I clearly over heard him mentioning I had michael kors on after he asked if I wanted a pedicure and I said no? Like what does that have to do with anything? NEVER AGAIN! 30 in a full set with a basic color and to have nail polish left on my skin and things hanging off the back of my nails. Realized I was charged $46 for a basic pedicure and "gel manicure" for no damn reason. I noticed the nail polish was cracking (even though their menu says it doesn't) well come to find out I was ripped off. I wondered why the nails cracked and why my nails were bending instead of hard and strong. The older man who did my nails didn't use gel polish on my nails he used regular nail polish! As you can see the chip and in person crack and peeling like regular nail polish. $47 down the drain for the worst experience I've had. Never again with this place! read more
