No idea why I've never tried this place before!!!! It is located in the mall, next to entrance. It looks like a small cheapy place, but wow is it great. Probably the best pizza I have ever had. My only complaints are the wait can be longer than it should be when dining in, and the staff can be unhelpful/unorganized(mostly the fat manager who bosses his employees around like he is some hot stuff). Tony's pizza is the worst pizza I've ever consumed. It's greasy , soggy, and just has a really bland flavor. The manager is very unprofessional, and doesn't know how to speak to costumers. The young man in the back , talks to people on the phone TERRIBLY!!! The only thing Tonys has going for them , is their subs and fried foods. Not sure what happened to Tony's, but my experience was awful and I will never return, especially after being talked to the way that I was. I ordered $50 worth of food through a delivery service (first time). After receiving my food, I noticed my 2 slices of pizza were not included. I called Tony's. It took forever for someone to answer. When they did answer, I received no hello, just background noise, then someone finally told me to hold. When he answered again, all he said was hello. I didn't even know if I called the correct number. I had to ask if it was Tony's. There was so much noise, I could barely hear. I finally tried to tell him what was going on. He continued to cut me off, telling me my pizza slices were sitting on top of the oven. I finally said they were not included in my drivers order. The guy rudely told me it was my drivers fault, because he didn't take them...how was he supposed to take them, if they're sitting on the oven? It should have been boxed up and given with my order. I asked if I could have a refund, but was told in a snotty, condescending tone...no, I could just go and call the delivery service, that it wasn't their fault. I said goodbye and hung up. The food was ok, but not good enough that I'll give my money to rude, disrespectful people again. There's better cheese and steak subs and pizza in town, where people treat you with respect and kindness. And almost $6 for a sliver of dry, box tasting Tiramisu is absurd. Never again. read more

Slices are big, but should be for $3. Cannoli wasn't very good, don't waste the space. It is a mall restaurant though, so I won't go too hard on that. The worst part was when I asked for a glass of water. After throwing down almost ten bucks for two pieces of pizza and a cannoli, they refused to give me one, saying the only option was bottled water for an outrageous price. When I asked why they couldn't give me water, I was told that it is because they "don't have any." As it turns out, they must have some because my wife's drink was entirely ice. I was so disappointed in Tony's pizza. We ordered a house salad which consisted of iceberg lettuce (very wet), diced tomatoes, onion slices and hot peppers. They forgot the cheese and olives. The foil packet of packaged dressing tasted fine. The pizza slices were huge. We bought slices of pepperoni. The crust was chewy and not hard. The pepperoni was okay. The sauce had zero flavor! Holy crap these are HUGE slices of pizza! Three times the size of a normal slice. Came to Tony's while on summer vacation with the family, it's a totally unassuming place, located inside the Jacksonville shopping mall. Not to be confused with "mall food"--delicious slices if New York style pizza so big they hang off the paper plates. I got basic pepperoni. These things are so big they have to be taken out of the oven on paddles twice the size of snow shovels (although they may not know what those are here). I have so much to say about this place......... It is busy, but it's in the mall, so what would you expect? Back on topic, the place serves the best pizza in Jacksonville! I order the large pepperoni pizza every time, and when i say the pizza is big, believe me, it is huge. The place could be due for a remodel, but the bathroom maintenance is fantastic. There are a few minor issues with the place, like the drink prices, i think they could lower them just a little bit. But don't let the sign fool you, THE REFILLS ARE FREE. Absolutely horrible customer service. I ordered a calzone and they told me it would be done in 15 minutes. Ended up waiting 35. It went up and asked if it was done. They said about 15 more minutes, and I explain to them that we've already waited 35 after they told us 15 . So then continued to wait another 25 minutes, for them to tell me they burn our calzones. Then the girl behind the counter started cussing me out right in front of her manager and the manager didn't do anything about it. They gave us our money back The total was $22 and they tried to rip us off and only give us $15 back. Im pretty big on customer service and this place def lacks. My husband and I wanted pizza for dinner but not pizza hut so we drove to the mall! It was pretty pricey for just a small pizza but it was alright. I asked the cashier for a small cup of water and she told me they didnt have tap water. How do you wash your dishes? lol They messed up our order on a 2 topping pizza. Most of the tables were really dirty and it wasnt even busy.
