Luis and Team are the Best! I am not a local and heard a worrisome noise in my 2007 Jetta. Called them without an appointment and was welcomed to bring it over to look at. They put the car on the lift, made sure what I heard was not something serious, did a test drive and told me the problem was some non critical plastic parts not reassembled properly by a prior mechanic. Not sure who is leaving bad reviews/saying these guys will rip you off, I can easily say that is not the case. They could have done that to me - saying they have to take the tire off/replace the brakes, etc. whatever. I went in because my car started making a loud screeching noise whenever I was accelerating. Sadly I didn't get his name, but the guy working came outside and took a listen and a quick test drive, did something and pulled a rock out that somehow stuck in the brake area. I was having an issue with my headlights that I wasn't able to figure out between, blown fuses, poor connection, burnt out light bulbs, or a faulty switch. Luckily I called these guys up and they took me in as a walk-in estimate/diagnosis. Free diagnostics scan. They went out of their way to diagnose my issue, which turned out to be a quick fix I was able to take car of once I made it home. Unlike other VW service stations in the area I sought for an estimate, these guys troubleshooted the problem without asking for labor fees from the beginning. Before reaching out to Too Quick's, one shop had me drive out for what I imagined was a free estimate/diagnosis, once I was there they told me at least $60 for labor. Then I called a local VW dealer/service station, right off the bat $140 for diagnostics. You can call me cheap, but at least I'm not a sucker. Luis is very knowledgeable and when I asked about the general reputation and information regarding to the drive train of my vehicle, he knew all the answers and gave great advise. I will definitely be seeking this shop for my future service needs. read more

My classic VW bus needed help smelled like gas all the time I was afraid it was going to catch on fire so I brought it in to too quick's. They inspected and found it was a torn boot and gave me a good quote. I said lets do it. They started and my bus was a nightmare. Rusty bolts everything stuck it took double the amount of time. I was getting nervous about price then I get my bill. They kept the quoted price they said that's was astonished and now any work I can't do they do for me. read more

I don't think anyone in the area knows more about Vanagons than they do. Also, they once spent an hour after closing diagnosing some idling problems and didn't charge me for it. I called this place about 10 a.m to possibly bring my car in I tell the guy who answers phone what's going on with my car and he tell me he'll call me back by 3 well 6:30 that evening he calls me back and still didn't answer my question he tells me how long it will take where to get parts etc but never gave me the quote I asked for them tells me he will call me back again will more details I still haven't heard back. I worked with these guys for years. The last time was for an A1, they did some work and claimed they put some sort of additive in the fuel system. Thing is my gas cap is locking and they didn't have the key. I was billed for the additive. I asked how they got passed my locking fuel cap, the own got red faced and then tock the $35 charge of my bill. read more

These guys are great. Upfront, to the point, and friendly. My car has been to these guys a couple times in the last month. As my VW gets older, the parts begin to fail. I originally went to Too Quick's for a coilover installation. They did an awesome job on the install and explaining to me on how to get the car lower safely and recommended some spacer sizes they felt would be good without too much additional work. Which, they were pretty bang on about. While they had installed the coils, the mechanic noticed a coolant leak I had and Robert got me setup for a day and time to get that issue fixed right away. The work was fast and professional. I can't express how much I appreciate all that they have done for me in such a short span of time. Again, thanks so much for everything you and your shop did. I brought my Audi Q7 into this shop in December 2017 for a rear brake job. Per the invoice they removed and replaced the rear brake disc and pad set, replaced rear brake rotors and pad set, replaced both pad wear sensors. 6 Months after the work was done my brake sensor light started coming on infrequently in my Audi. I took it back to them in November 2018 for them to diagnose the problem. At that time they inspected rear brakes and scanned for faults. No faults were stored at this time. The technician found a loose connection the rear pad sensor and resecured the connection. No warning light returned. Well now my sensor is coming on every day so today (2/28/19) I decided to take my Q7 into Larson Audi to diagnose exactly what is going on. I had to pay $195 to dianose the problem. Audi documented that their inspection "found connectors for rear brake pad wear sensors have been replaced with after market non sealed connectors. It also looks as if the pad wear sensors were REUSED!!!!! Pulled wiring diagram and found all 4 sensors are wired in series. Unable to determine exact location of open circuit to ground triggering light but suspect rears due to rear sensor wiring harness is cut, and butt connected to what is suspected to be the old sensors. Both sensors connector and body side wiring harness connectors are missing and wiring is butt connected together and not holding seal to hold water out of harness. Recommend replacing rear pad sensors and return wiring back to stock sealed connectors requires new sensors, new wiring harness connectors and sealing new connectors so water will not get in. Estimate from Audi is $575" I trusted Too Quicks to do a rear brake job on my Q7 and was told that they replaced the Rear Pad sensors. I was not told that they cut wires, butt connected them back together and reused my old sensors. This is not the way a reputable shop which specializes in working on German Autos should be doing work. I contacted Too Quicks and when I read the findings from Audi to them on the phone I was told to just bring my vehicle back into them so they could make it right. I did do that in November 2018 when my sensor light was on. During that visit they could've figured out how bad of a brake job they did by noticing the wires were butt connected together and the sensors were reused. I"m sorry but I do not trust anyone from that shop to ever touch my Q7 again so I will not be bringing it back to them ever again. I entrusted them with my vehicle to perform a correct brake job and paid them over $537 dollars for that rear brake job. Now not only am I out the $537 I am also going to be out the $575 plus the $195 to figure out what the real problem was. I would not trust any vehicle with this automotive shop and do not recommend bringing a vehicle to them for repair. read more

I am not a review writing kind of gal. In fact I have never written a review on any place because I hate it as much as I hated writing essays in high school. But I am quick to verbally refer friends (and even strangers) to places where I have been given great service. Too Quicks will never be such a referral! I have a 2000 Audi A6 with a radio currently in Safe mode from recent service done on my car. Unfortunately, this car has had several owners and I do not possess the code to unlock my radio. So I called Too Quicks this morning to find out how much they charge to pull my radio and give me the serial number so Audi USA can give me the unlock code. I guess I got off on the wrong foot with whichever gentleman who answered today when I asked "Do you guys charge to pull a radio and give the serial number off the back?" Boy did I ask a stupid question. And this gentleman at Too Quicks made sure I was well aware of how stupid my question was as he promptly explained to me that they have rent to pay, uniforms to buy and many other things to pay for to run the shop so yes they do charge and what is more, I will find that most other shops charge for such service. Instead of simply saying "Yes we charge for that and it costs X amount of dollars" to my dumb question, our conversation quickly down spiraled from there. This lovely gentleman went on a further diatribe about how people incorrectly install after market radios which then mess up other electrical components and cause other dash lights to come on. (What in the world does that have to do with price of tea in China??) I reminded him I was simply needing help with my stock radio being in safe mode and then he dogmatically told me the original owner would have the code and if not then only Audi USA could help me. Thanks Sherlock!! You try finding the original owner of a 15 yr old car. And to add insult to injury he boasts that in his 17 years of experience not once had he ever had someone call asking for help with this. Wow! Really? Seems like a pretty common thread on Audi forums. I had no idea my problem was as rare as my 4.2L. Good griiiieeeefff. FINALLY I got it out of him that their minimum charge is $18.60 and that is what he would charge to do this. I told him that is very reasonable and I WOULD come to his shop but since our conversation was less than pleasant, I will look elsewhere in which he promptly hung up on me. Geez dude...it's not even lunch time and your day is going that crappy that you can't even fake good customer service to this gal asking dumb and rare questions?? Smh I then called Mouse Meat and spoke to a truly nice guy who answered my question: if my radio comes right out he won't charge! Otherwise if it is a 1/2 hr or more, I would be charged $45-90 for labor. Thank you, sir! That is all I needed to know. A part of me wants to still roll up to Too Quicks to get it done and smile in the guys face, make him a little nervous/embarrassed. Kill him with kindness. We all know it is easy to be rude on the phone but it is a different story face-to-face. read more

Chuck has been working on my MANY VW's for the past 25+ YEARS. He now has my new project, a 1974 Karmann Ghia Convertible for a complete new wiring harness, routing an external oil cooler, etc. basically getting the car to turn key. We are about 3/4 finished and have built this car to show quality with just about $50,000.00 invested so far and there is NO one I would trust more to do the mechanicals than Chuck/Too Quick German Auto. This shop has serviced my VW Tiguan twice. First to replace the water pump due to a coolant leak. They were straightforward and I felt they would do honest work. After 4 months the pump was leaking again. Though absolutely swamped, they squeezed me in and got the job done again quicker than promised. They guaranteed their work and got the parts supplier to replace the part at no cost with an OEM pump. Though it is not fun to have work done on a newer VW, if its got to be done, get these guys to do it. read more

I own a 2003 Jetta TDI, & was recomended to Too Quick's for a cheaper alternative than going to the VW Dealership for a timing belt, along with Auto Trans service. Comparing the 2 prices between Dealer & Too Quicks,Too Quicks was alot easier on the pocket book, boy was I wrong! Since spending about $1500.00 for services I have had to have it all done over by the dealership over the course of the last 9 months & my VW is back in the shop for replacement of timing belt pulleys (now sqeaking 16k miles later) Too Quicks was supposed to have installed VW parts (I assumed), Dealer mentioned they looked new, but were Not VW parts. The transmission pan was not sealed correctly, and lost almost all fluid, had to have it towed back to Too Quicks to replace the gasket again, and was a huge inconvienence with no offer of a loaner FYI I live nearly 50 miles away. At my next oil change at a vw dealer they said the trans pan gasket was leaking, that's 3 gaskets Too Quicks could not get to seal, I went back to get my money back for that service (Too Quicks, at that time offered to replace the trans gasket, who in their right mind would let them try again???, I guess that's how they get you to keep coming back) Also, apparently there's two different types of serpentine belts, the TDI belt has a different texture, Too Quicks installed the wrong belt, & caused the serpentine belt chirp, that I'm sure just about everyone has heard at one point in time, that was another $240 at a VW dealer, but at least the dealer knows what belt to use, and offer a Free loaner. The VW Dealer also said my "new" serpentine belt from Too Quicks was super shiny for only have 3k miles on it, which was suggested it was either from being old/high miles, or from heat (car has never overheated/ran hot) The only parts left on my vehicle from Too Quicks are the water pump ( no peace of mind seeing how the rest of their work turned out), and the timing belt, which surprisingly Too Quicks did use the correct belt. If you want to keep you VW and you happy.. it's worth it just to go to a VW Dealer, get all VW parts installed with Technicians that actually know VW's, has Loaner vehicles, and you get your car back washed and vaccumed, and have a peace of mind on your daily driver. I have now paid about three times for the work I was trying to save money on. Stay Away From Too Quicks!!! read more

I was quoted a good price for some recent service so I brought my Audi to Too Quicks since I figured they specialize in Audis instead of taking it to a random shop or the dealership. I was happy with their service for the work I asked them to do, but the reason I am giving a lower rating is because I feel like they were pressuring me to have more work done than was necessary. When I called to get the quote and told them I just bought my car and it has 85K miles, they kept telling me that a lot of times people get rid of cars at that mileage because that is when major service is needed. I had done my research before even buying the car to know when and what service needs to be done so I felt confident in telling them I didn't want to have any other service done. But when I picked up my car, they again proceeded to tell me that I need to have my timing belt replaced, which they estimated close to $1000 after tax. They said it should have been replaced at 75K miles and since I'm over that, it is something I should seriously consider doing. They go on to tell me that if the timing belt were to break, it would severely damage my engine and it would cost me thousands to repair and days of my cars being in the shop. But then afterwards said, "but this isn't a scare tactic and I'm not trying to scare you or anything". I'm not sure if they did this because I'm a woman and they think I don't know about cars, but like I said, I've done my research - the manual in my car, the official Audi website, and even the Audi dealership all concur that the timing belt should be replaced at 110K miles, so I am well under that and have probably another 2 years of driving before I even get to that mileage. http://www.audiusa.com/content/dam/audiusa/Documents/Audi-Maintenance-Schedule-Model-Year-2008.pdf This shop is great for VW enthusiasts, but I won't be coming back here. they get pretty busy here so if you have minor work or potential corner cutting work they won't put as much time into as if your spending big dollars or if your doing big jobs. I brought a Golf in for a buyers inspection. They had it for two hours. First we did a walk around and looked under the hood. He said it was so clean as if it had been pressure washed but it wasn't because he showed me hoses that would've been damaged but were not. He told me the transmission was painted silver but he didn't know why. It was then brought back to the service area to check underneath and then later it was taken on a drive with a computer. The result was they found NO LEAKS and everything checked out great minus the A/C needs a recharge, a new thermostat, and rear brakes in 6-12 months. They thought it was amazing that it had no leaks and said I was getting lucky that it was most likely one owner who took great care of it and had it serviced. I bought the car based on their thoughts of years with VW's and their buyers inspection report. A week later there was oil where we park the car. I took it to a local foreign auto shop and the guy lifted it and easily saw there was an oil leak and he also found and showed me that the transmission was new, with the stickers on it. When I called Too Quick's, Chuck was nice saying it shouldn't have left their shop without the oil leak being seen/found. He offered to refund the buyers inspection and free labor to fix the leak. I emailed him the invoice form my local shop. After work and not hearing back, I phoned again. This time I spoke with the guy who had done the walk around with me. He was condescending saying, "We looked under the hood and you saw there were no leaks." I said you don't see oil leaks form the top of the engine by looking under the hood. He said he would call me back in 10 minutes. 35 minutes later I called back. He said he was busy but that beyond refunding the buyers inspection, they had no responsibility and his mechanic missed nothing because he was sure the engine had been wiped clean by the dealer. When I said how could you tell me the transmission had been painted when it was brand new with stickers, how did the mechanic not see that? He had no response. He said he was going to refund my buyers inspection but that was it. That is incompetence for a VW repair shop to not know the difference between a new transmission with the stickers on it and to try and justify the oil leak by saying he had shown me under the hood and there was no leak on the top of the engine. I guess maybe since I am a female, I am presumed to be a total idiot? read more
