We came in on a weekday for lunch one day during our visit. Oh boy it was busy but luckily we didn't have to wait. Casual joint and friendly staffs. Too Thai is one of the most efficient and delicious Thai restaurants in Dallas! While parking can be a challenge in the evenings as all the restaurants around it are popular too, trust me when I say you want to give their food a try. I always get the pad kee mao with fried tofu, which comes out with every noodle adequately sauced and loaded with flavor less than ten minutes after I order it. My husband got the crying tiger beef this time, which actually is a smaller plate than a typical plate of noodles but still loaded with flavor. The staff is efficient, wait times are quicker than you'd anticipate, and everything we've tried has been good here. This was my first time ordering from this place and I would say it has potential but for the price and taste I have had better for less price. Too Thai, Too tasty. Back in town and knew I had to come back and realized I never wrote a review for this place. Quick update : it's still amazing! Got way too many dishes to memorize, but big standouts were the mama o ho and khao Ka moo. Crab fried rice was cooked with that high wok heat that you just can't get at home. So delicious. I'm giving this rating based on the quality of the food, fast service, and the vibe of being on the street in Thailand. It's a bustling place, noisy, and kinda fun. I had a green curry medium hot with chicken. Unlike every other Thai restaurant I've been to, they use dark meat not white. Not a problem for me as I prefer the more flavorful dark. In a complex full of restaurants to try, this one is a must visit. I came here with some friends and we ordered the Mama Ho hot pot, Pad See Ew, and the Khao Moo Kratiem. The hot pot was the first time I've tried a Thai hot pot and loved the presentation and the flavor of the dish. I enjoyed the other dishes as well but found the hot pot to be the best! I rarely get to eat Thai food when visiting my parents in Dallas, so I jumped at the chance to get takeout here when they had other plans for lunch. I'm a Pad Thai fiend, so I must always order this as my litmus test. I also ordered the Thai sausages and the Pad Woon Sen. The Pad Thai was absolutely delicious and passed my test, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how adequately spicy my spice level 5 turned out! I also appreciated the use of actual Thai peppers in the dish for spice, as opposed to just dumping a ton of dried Thai chili flakes at the end. Pad Woon Sen was also great, but the flavor was a bit more difficult to determine, most likely because I got it to go. The Thai sausages were a disappointment, as I usually love these at other establishment. They tasted too fatty and unbalanced, and did not have any of the herby fresh notes you typically taste. One of my favorite Thai spots in dfw. Usually when I frequent a restaurant I find myself ordering the same 1 or 2 meals. This is one of the few places where that does not good true. Everything on the menu not only looks enticing and delicious but also tastes absolutely amazing. I've eaten like 15 different meals here and never been disappointed. The inside of the restaurant is very fun and vibrant but beware it is often pretty packed with people. Even in the off hours at least half the tables are full. We've never had to wait very long to get a table but if you do have a wait they'll text you so you can walk around and enjoy the area. Service has always been pretty decent. Food comes out quickly and they check in on you pretty often. read more

A solid recommendation by a local coffee barista! I'm from the SF bay area and we typically don't see this type of authentic Thai food. They not only have the typical Pad Thai or Pad Kee Mow dishes, but they also have traditional rice plates and noodle soups. My favorite was the crying tiger with sticky rice! The dipping sauce that came with the steak really made the flavor pop. My table got 4 things and shared family style to try everything. Along with the crying tiger, we got the Khao Ka Moo, Boat Noodle, and Khao Moo Dang Moo Grob. The Khao Ka Moo was a favorite of the waitress who served us, so we knew we had to get it. They were all insanely delicious as we were getting tired of filling ourselves with the Texas BBQ. We were so close to coming back a second time on our trip, but wanted to try some other places. This is our favorite Thai restaurant. It is always busy. On this visit, we started with the Tum Thai or Green Papaya Salad. We got Thai level spice. Get some water if you are not ready for this spice level. It was good. We also got the Tom Yum soup. It was spicy and tangy. Finally, we got Glass Noodle, Green Curry, and Krapow Gai (Spicy Ground Chicken). It was all tasty. This place is always packed so you have to patient if you go on the weekends. So much flavor!! Came here with my partner and friends so I got to share many dishes. We had the Tom Kha Kai hot pot which had mushrooms and chicken in a coconut milk soup. It had a lot of depth, flavor and a nice kick to it. It made me feel warm and cozy. It was plenty for the 4 of us. We tried the chicken satay as an appetizer. They did not disappoint and tasted amazing with the peanut sauce. For entrees, we tried the pad se ew with tofu and another with beef. The one with tofu tasted amazing and was addicting to eat. We loved the texture of the tofu. The one with beef honestly tasted burnt to me and I could not eat after a bite. Lastly we had the pineapple fried rice with pork. The rice appears moist but it was packed with so much flavor that it didn't bother me. Service was exceptional and food arrived promptly here. Loved the Thai decor inside! A friend of mine frequently gets takeout here and she recommended I make a visit. So you can imagine how excited I was to finally get the chance to try their food out when I was in the area. We went on a Sunday night and it was quite busy - there was about a 15 minute wait. Even though it's really busy, there are plenty of stores you can check out in the are while you're waiting! The environment is very intimate and close. We ordered and the food came out very quickly! The flavors of everything were extremely on point. We order: crispy chicken skin, pork ribs, hot pot (I can't remember the name of which), side order of glass noodles, the papaya salad, and the khao moo dang moo grob (this dish was SOO good). Everything was so delicious! We got level 1 spicy for the papaya salad and it was still quite spicy, and we typically can handle spice so just be cautious of the level spice you choose!
