Here's a vegetarian doing review. I had the sesame tofu with brown rice. It was OK. Very fast service. The company was better, but they will not be accompanying you. I didn't have anything else, but the food was pretty good. I would definitely recommend trying it. Very modern ambience. read more

Mathis was delicious! I am a Thai food lover. I was with a party of 5 and with the menu there was something for everyone.. I went with the yellow curry chicken. Instead of driving to Addison, we went to their Dallas restaurant. We tried their Thai food for lunch. We ordered Shrimp Padthai and Crispy Beef. They're both delicious. Their shrimp Pad Thai is close, but not same as to the taste of Bangkok's Street Vendors Pad Thai. Our serving staff was friendly and helpful. Clean, well lighted/decorated and good place for intimate dining. There's a lot of parking, since it's inside a commercial strip mall. read more

Been going here for a while..moved to Austin but came back to dallas last weekend and drove by and thought MAN...I need this...took my step son too who is 10 and pretty picky...he loved the two apps we did, espeically the pork and shrimp dumpling. I love love the beef noodle soap...the broth is so flavorful and a good amount of beef. Hubby really enjoyed his crispy beef with fried rice....this place is back on my radar. read more

Great for dine in or takeout. I think they have the best salads here amongst other Thai restaurants in the area. The staff is very polite and attentive - I got tons of water refills because it was spicy! You order on a scale of 1-5- I enjoy 3 or 4 depending on the dish. i don't know how 'authentic' this place is - especially since they have dan dan noodles (chinese) and spring rolls (vietnamese) and lo mein (chinese) etc. but it's a decent spot that's convenient and good for a quick lunch close to work. I like the drunken noodles and basil fried rice. i wish the rice was more basil-y but that's just because i love thai basil. i was in the area and decided to stop in to place a to go order. they take to go orders at the bar and they have a pretty good lunch menu. i ordered a couple entrees and a tom yum soup to go. tom yum is not thick or rich like a lot of soups, but rather a tangy sour spicy soup that is really light. which is perfect for lunch because i don't want to feel weighed down. the spice scale here is 1-5, 5 being spiciest. i like things super spicy so i always order a 4 or 5. i would definitely recommend their beef over chicken. not that their chicken isn't good, but because the beef is just that much better. tender, juicy, flavorful. chicken can be boring after a while and dry sometimes. but the beef is consistently good. any entree option comes with your choice of meat. chicken, beef, tofu and veggie are usually 1 price with shirmp costing a little extra. i went to grab a quick coffee just a few doors down and by the time i got back my food was ready. will be back another day when i'm craving thai! #fattypatty approved read more

Very good pad see ew! I had the tofu and my boyfriend had the chicken. Something I really appreciated about the host was how she had us confirm our order before paying which I don't know how many times that's happened before, usually you're charged then given the receipt. They also had very good white rice and peanut sauce! read more

It's super exciting that they have vegan options ! Didn't try many of the imitation proteins when I ordered delivery but did do a lot of other samples ! Fresh Salad Roll w/ Tofu - I started here and wow!!! I was shocked by the amount of sauce. Tried to show that the peanut sauce was a little thinner than I'm used to for summer rolls but it is just as flavorful. The rolls, despite their halved presentation, are tightly packed and didn't fall apart and were tasty at that ! Spring rolls - again LOTS OF SAUCE, super crispy, somehow still light. I would've gotten a bunch of those if I knew!!! And they're larger than your typical spring roll, IMO. Lo Mein Noodle with shrimp - I think it could use a little more flavor but I was really pleased with the texture and the shrimp was cooked well ! I ordered spicy 3 so that I could share, maybe that was the mistake ... Crispy soft shell crab with Panang, spicy 5 - not extremely spicy but there was a good kick while reserving the taste of the dish, which I find is hard to do :-) if you're wondering what the crispy crab is like, it's kind of like a super tender chicken, lol. I really enjoyed the breading. Red curry veg, level 5 - again, not super spicy, but at least it didn't overwhelm the flavor ! The curry was very rich and I could actually discern between which was panang and not, lol, which is usually not the case. And the veggies were cooked so nicely ! Tom kha with tofu, level 5 - I really liked it - I personally enjoy a soup that can be both really creamy with coconut and spicy, which I find this was more brothy. How is this restaurant still in business? We have been to their Frankford location twice. While the place was dead the food was ok. Nothing special but not bad. We decided try them again with call for a pickup order. Started with with the BT Summerset $13.99 combo which is right there on the Frankford site menu. The lady told me they don't have it. Only the Addison store has it. So I check the Addison store site and it's nowhere to be found. The lady wouldn't budge so I told her I'd call her back once I waste another 10 minutes deciding what to order. I call back and order the Sesame Tofu $10.99 and the Pad Prik King $12.99. Lady gives me total of around $32. I tell her that can't be right, it's too high. She proceeds to tell me the Sesame Tofu is $12.99 and the Pad Prik King is $14.99. No it isn't I say, it's right there on the menu. She won't budge...again. I tell my wife I'm done. She takes the phone and asks to speak to the manager. The manger gets on and tells my wife she can't take the order over the phone and recommends online. Huh? Now I think I'm in some kind of alternate universe. My wife clicks on the online order and it takes her to the Addison location (see other reviews from frustrated customers over this.) Strike 3. How a business can operate this way is really mind boggling. How they are still in business is incomprehensible. Will never return....(see photos) read more

This place has been my favorite weekend spot to eat at for some months now. The food has always been great and so has the customer service, that is until today. I went to pick up my order I placed over the phone. I walk to the bar (that's where they have you pick up the orders sometimes) and the guy at the register ( the receipt said his name was Save) he was very standoffish. Very short with me, okay I get it maybe he wasn't having a good day. Five minutes later an older white lady comes in, says she's picking up an order too. I'm sitting down by the bar listening to her, Save and the lady behind the bar interact. Both employees treat the older white lady differently than they did me. They even asked if she would like a glass of water while she waited. They were so attentive and nice to her, with me they seemed bothered and very unfriendly. I felt discriminated against. This actually made me feel more sad than angry because I love coming here. My experience today was awful, i honestly don't think I'll be back to eat here again. read more

This restaurant is tucked in a strip building next to Mi Cocina. The exterior looks pretty regular but the interior has some nice touches, Thai statues, paintings, and neat ornaments. I went on a Thursday evening and there was no wait time, which was great. The menu had a lot of great options and I was going to go with my usual, a green curry, but I decided to try something new. I ordered the seafood Phuket style and I must say, it did not disappoint. Seafood portions were generous and filling, and a side of white rice was given in addition. Seafood Phuket-style consisted of shrimp, squid, mussel, and fish, bell peppers and Thai basil, with a sauce that was packing with heat and flavor! My go to Thai takeout place since moving here in 2019. I never get photos of the food because I inhale it so fast- it's that good. My order is crab wontons, Tom Kha soup, and either red or green curry! The spice level is customizable and the dishes are so rich and comforting. A ton of tasty food and variety in the bento box! Loved the soup of the day, nice and coconutty. Adored their peanut dressing on the salad and . liked the spring roll and the dumplings! Both of our curries were on point with recommended level of spicy. 1 for me, 3 for him. He got big shrimp, I had chicken. All of this was like 22 bucks! UPDATE 5/19/20 I've been patient because of all the COVID-19 adjustments, but this is now the 3rd time in a row I which order not done correctly. I requested no bell peppers (I have acid reflux) and the order was loaded with them (see photo). This Is the 3rd time they've made this same mistake. Additionally, the clerk failed to follow proper protocol and was not wearing a mask. This all very disappointing because this is my favorite Thai restaurant. Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name...and your order. Regular staff great and food is some of the best Thai I've had. HOWEVER, new staff is slow and makes too many mistakes. Last two visits have been pitiful. Once order completely opposite of what we ordered. This time waiting over 20 minutes for to go order only to discover order not placed. Never had a problem with this place before, but today I was so disappointed. My Thai green curry was unpalatable. I ordered extra shrimp, and their response to that was to throw old tempura shrimp in (that were soggy and overcooked). Also, in a shrimp only curry, a clam made its way in. That's fine, but it stunk to high heaven. The vegetables were off-coloured, too. I didn't eat it. Two stars because everybody has an off day, but this was just bad. read more
