Excellent food! I had some sort of beef sandwich (saj?) and my friend had a beef bowl. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The service was a bit weird, in that they had table service, but we had to pay in advance, which was frankly very awkward and a bit off putting. I would understand if this was counter service, but it's not. They also charged an extra 5% if you were paying by card, which I found excessive. The food was 5 stars, but I'm withholding a star due to the aforementioned ordering/paying/card fee stuff. The ambiance is very casual, definitely more of a daytime lunch place vibe. For context, we ordered the falafel sandwich, the beef Arabi shawarma, and for dessert we ordered knafeh. 10/10 would order again. Indoors is quite inviting; lots of natural light with pretty views of greenery. The kitchen has an open context so guests can see the cooking process. When I walked to my table it was dirty there wasn't a clean table I had to ask someone to clean the table and there was ants on the table and floor the service was horrible and the waitress was rude. It took 45 mins for someone to come and take our order. I went to the ladies room it smelled horrible like feet and I was afraid to sit on the toilet and there was sanitary dirty napkins over flowing the trash can. The cook looked like he hasn't showered in weeks and looked high. My food had human hair in it and the food tasted horrible I would not recommend eating here as it's nasty and dirty. read more

The crispiness of the chicken shawarma was not there considering it came off an upright rotisserie, I'm assuming. I would have like a little more freshness in the shawarma like lettuce, veg, to brighten up all of the rich sides, dips, and breads. Really like the laid back location and service was quick. I had couple of friends coming over and wanted to serve as appetizer. Of course didn't go as planned. Very inefficient and time consuming experience. I tried calling them after getting the parcel, they were closed. Disappointed. * Owner called and offered to drop off pita bread after I posted the review, we had already started eating so decided there was no point in making him drop off. Toot Beirut was an excellent place to try some familiar and new Mediterranean dishes. My table had small plates, like the falafel (very great texture), breads, and grape leaves. The grape leaves tasted sauteed and still had that tart but not right out of a can texture and taste. My Chicken Saj was a handheld, wrap-style dish with chicken and mixed pickles. It was like an elevated Mediterranean chicken salad with a yogurt dipper. My only suggestion is that the saj not come pre-cut into pieces, which made the filling apt to fall out when eating. I recommend this for some well-done familiar flavors and new dishes for a lunch or casual early dinner. read more

Especially being here in NWA, people need to know more about the menu items since they're not aware. The menu needs to sell the food & it leaves you with more questions & little clarity on what menu items include. Hummus was good & a work of art. Chicken saj was okay. I'll give them another try & try another item sometime but I won't be running back. Everything we tried was delicious! I can't speak on the service or ambiance as we ordered takeout - but the food was amazing! The flavors of each appetizer and entree were perfect. We ordered the appetizer sampler, chicken pita and beef bowl along with extra sides of pickles and garlic sauce. Our entrees came with smaller portions of the sides but we were glad to have the extras! The hummus was the smoothest, creamiest hummus I've ever had! We loved it! The chicken pita reminded me of a Mediterranean quesadilla and was very tasty. The beef bowl was equally delicious and was served on a rice base that was had a buttery flavor. Wow. So fresh. Everything was fresh and noticiable so. The pita was homemade, not the knock-off mass produced and tasteless variety so often served with shawarma. The grape leaves were fantastic.
