    Wings

Toots will give you wings! And quite tasty ones as well. I'm not even a fan of wings, but these wings were SO good. What is so good about them is the crisp they manage to keep, while smothered in sauce of your choice (we chose the mild buffalo). While we were visiting Murfreesboro a few weeks back, we ordered these to-go. I am still thinking about them back at home. The onion rings were good as well, the fries not so much when ordered for take out. That will not change my mind about their wings though. If you are in the mood for some grubby appetizers, Toot's is just the place for that.

9:30 Saturday night. At least five servers. Three tables. Waited 10 minutes and NO ONE came to the table.

Service in this rather crowded restaurant was mixed. I'd like to say it was good - great, but several servers in our area stopped to chat with their friend in the adjacent booth, spending a lot of time doing that. Our server however, was indeed, cheerful and very polite. Overall ambience was of a popular, crowded, busy establishment with clientele who were comfortable and enjoying their experience here. Food is a little more "greasy spoon" than I had hoped. Fries were crispy. Wings were crispy, but sauces were just so-so. Cheeseburger was a decent size and charred nicely. In fact, all the portions were very nice size - that is to say BIG. The three steak style sliders I had were OK. But just that. They proved a little chewy-tough. They should've only been grilled lightly, but instead, were overdone. The biggest greasy drawback were the rings that looked amazing. They were crispy when you bid into them, but inside the grease literally poured outbid of a disappointment. Our server refilled our drinks repeatedly. Thank you!

Toot's is the taste of Murfreesboro. You must visit when in town. There are four locations, but this one feels the most authentic-- being this is the original restaurant. Open late until 11 or 12 (depending on the day), Toot's has the best bar food in Murfreesboro. They always have great daily specials, check the marquee outside for the updated deal and a funny pun, too! My absolute favorite thing to order is the fried chicken tender basket with curly fries. The chicken breading is great and the fries are always the perfect golden brown. The Toot's brownie blast is an absolute killer way to end a meal, too-- with a warm brownie, ice cream, caramel, fudge, and whipped cream (complete with a cherry on top). Personally I hate pickles, but everyone in the family loves the fried pickle baskets! They're a local staple, so I'd recommend those to anyone--unless you despise pickles like me. I have visited 3 of the 4 Toot's and always have good service, good food, and good fun. I also love to order Toot's to-go or on Uber Eats. The food is great and reliable whether I'm eating it at the iconic high tops in the window or in my living room in front of the tv!

Was in the area and wanted to try this place as I see signs for it quite often. It's a real cool joint. More like a rock sport bar. Cool stuff on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. I had the cheeseburger with curly fries and got to say that was a kickass burger . Our server was great and think there's free refills . Sports on the tv's and really good crowd. They got ribs, wings, burgers and oysters. Great experience and would come here again.

Great atmosphere, staff, and food! The chocolate brownie monster mash was to die for! The Philly Cheese Steak is served on a Hoagie Bun that is stuff with properly seasoned steak, topped with mushrooms, sliced onions, bell peppers topped with melted provolone cheese The Original versions of the reuben has the moist lean corned beef, topped with sauerkraut with Swiss cheese on a marble German rye bread covered in Thousand Island Dressing or it is also available served on the side. The other excellent option is the French Dip, served sirloin steak on a Hoagie roll, topped with a horseradish sauces, served with au jus, Swiss Cheese and a pickle provides a excellent lunch. We could choose just one so we had all three. They were amazing. You should also try the chicken wings here as well. We have to try them in the future. Several other dinners where commenting on how good the wings are. Defiantly will return to this place when we travel thru Murfreesboro, TN. First Rate with service and food.

First timer? Ask for the free sample of fried pickles! Daily specials and happy hour starts at 8pm... 2 4 1 drinks and appetizer special but everything is very salty just not what we are used too. Service was fantastic very attentive and on top of things. Ambiance was a neon bar sign lit place, loved itchy

The original location on Broad Street is most interesting but the food is ok. I prefer to eat elsewhere.

They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!

We ordered a bottle of wine (delicious), and noticed some guests bringing their own, though I'm not sure about corkage fees. We started with the smoked pork croquettes, which were outstanding and ended up being the highlight of the meal. For entrées, we tried the lamb, braised beef, halibut, duck tacos, and mushroom ravioli. Everything was served promptly, and overall the food was very good, though there's room for small improvements. The braised beef came highly recommended but didn't stand out in flavor or texture. The lamb, cooked medium rare, was excellent. The ravioli was rich and tasty, though the cream sauce slightly overpowered the dish. The halibut was well prepared, but the potato leek cream truly stole the show. As we were leaving, the staff surprised us with a serving of strawberry ice cream for the birthday guest; a sweet and memorable gesture that capped off the evening nicely. Overall, a great experience with attentive service and a few standout dishes.
