Ordered toots from UberEats under the name Jayden, received a hamburger with curly fries and sliders with curly fries, we didn't notice it at first but my wife noticed halfway thru the meal that everything had a fishy/nutty taste to it, me and my son are both highly allergic to shellfish and any form of nuts. Well my son broke out and turned red all over and puffy on his face and got white lips so I knew right away after my wife said that she noticed that certain taste and smell that it was a reaction. There was also no way to specify if we were allergic to something but regardless a hamburger and fries for both meals SHOULD NOT HAVE NUTTY FISHY taste and smell to it. That can only mean it was cross contaminated, so thanks to the unprofessional disgusting non considerate cooks and staff at the Murfreesboro Toots location we had a scary allergic reaction happen to me and my son, I was breaking out but didn't care about me when my son was wheezing and could hardly breath so me and my wife focused on him first while I COULD HARDLY BREATH. We did not hate it (well Captain hated it) but agreed we will not be back. The boiled shrimp was disappointing (small, flavorless and overcooked). For $16 a pound (no way it was a pound), save your money and pick up some shrimp next door at the fresh seafood market. So... maybe we were being overtly critical since seafood is not Toot's specialty and what did we expect? BUT the Ribs apparently are. They tasted like they had been cooked in the oven with no rub or seasoning and then coated in a generic bbq sauce. Priced at $12.99; a deal from the menu price of $17.99, were not discounted enough. The side (4 onion rings) were more batter than onion. We jokingly stated the Texas Toast was the best thing on the plate! Toot's past accolades and commendations appear were awarded for being family friendly. Toot's Restaurant is like the family-friendly version of Hooters. They had a lively atmosphere on a Friday evening yet we were able to find a seat right away. They have menus at each table and as we were waiting to order we noticed that all the tables had a sign for a year and then the table was decorated with old local newspaper clippings from that year. Toot's definitely has fun decor. It took a few minutes for a server to come over and greet us but she was very sweet and attentive the rest of the time. They have a large menu and we sampled quite a bit of it! We got wings, fried shrimp, bacon cheese fries and fried pickles. The wing sauce we got was the hot garlic but it really wasn't too spicy. Although the food was okay nothing really stood out to me. I prefer wings at Buffalo Wild Wings or Wings Stop to be honest. The fries were a bit dry in spite of having the cheese and bacon on top. The fried shrimp neither of us really ate. The shrimp were really tiny even with the breading and they were very good. The best thing were the fried pickles. If we came back I'd likely get fried pickles and try something else like a burger. Overall, a fun place to come, the service is good but the food is nothing out of the ordinary. They are open late so it can be a good place to come for a bite after the normal dinner crowd has gone. read more

It's not far from my home to the restaurant only about 2 miles and in this heat should be no problem. Toot's does a lot of advertising. They are a self proclaimed institution of Murfreesboro. My colleague and I had to try it for lunch just to say we were there. It sure reminds me of the Anchor Bar in Buffalo. They specialize in seafood, wings and beer. Just my kind of place. I couldn't decide between the ribs or the wings for lunch so I had the ribs & wings lunch special. It was very good. Nice spice to the wings. They did mess up my order initially, but quickly recovered. They're very busy at all times. There's enough stuff around to keep you over stimulated. Pretty large menu of items. Wow. What can I say? Toots, you were promised to be great but what you delivered was absolutely spectacular. Above and beyond. My friend who talks about my sister's hoohahs started off with a water and I got a coke. Both were delivered in fun glasses. I decieded to go with the catfish platter and my friend, Jackson, ordered a 15 count wings to fit into his fat mouth of his that went around and told the entire high school about my sister's hoohahs back in 2019. I have very little to complain about Toot's. The service was fantastic, kind of like how my friend described my sister's hoohahs to half of our grade. The price was very fair, just like what he paid the sketch artist to draw my sister's hoohahs from his description. It was a nice charcoal piece on canvas. Oh where do I begin. I placed an order of the chicken wings. They came out, and they were super hot, saucy, and large wings. My dirtbag pal Patrick ordered a fish sandwich which they don't have on the menu, so that was quite a buzzkill. My food was great as the aforementioned description went into detail on. However, my good for nothing, crashes on my couch for weeks at a time, claims his Venmo is "broken", leach of a friend ending up going with the catfish platter which was crispy and hot! After that, he did this weird thing with his mouth where he just kept talking about war and who really benefits from it. We split an appetizer of the fried pickles which is what they are known for and I can see why. My friend, (same guy) ordered and consumed 4 diet Pepsis and his tummy started hurting real bad. He later got sick, which I wouldn't blame on the food at all, but rather his weak, feeble, childlike stomach. The staff was very nice and friendly, I wish my previously mentioned pal exhibited some of those same qualities, but instead, he just wears the same shirt every time I see him that says "this guy has been to over half of the 50 United States" with two Mickey Mouse thumbs on the shirt affixed to the self pointed position of himself. There isn't much to say, they have great food on the menu but everything is usually deep fried..so my tummy was upset so I went with soup and salad and Tony went with Shrimp and Fries..he had a beer (budweiser) and I had tea with lemon/lime slices. Food is cold even after the driver pulled it out of a big insulated bag. 2. I paid over $45 dollars & when he gave me my stuff all but one lid was popped open & one had a broken lid. 3. I haven't eaten here in YEARS but while my wife and I have been self-quarantining we were craving wings. Let me tell you. These were the best wings we've had in a long time! I got the 10 piece wings fried crispy, tossed in mild and my wife got 5 tenders tossed in mild. They were so delicious that the next day we wanted more! Stopped in Thursday , 30 June about 1200... The place was jammed!!! We had to wait about 5mins for a table which isn't an issue at all. Our server was Labrisha , I believe is the correct spelling of her name ...she was immediately at the table, took our drink and food order right away... She was back wicked fast with our drinks.. If any of your drinks got half empty, she was on top of it and refilled it immediately, no asking no waiting... She was all over it... Labrisha checked on us often while we ate, but was never bothersome or in the way... This girl was on fire!!!!! We had a mushroom swiss burger, a buffalo chix sandwich, and wings... The food was almost as good as the service... Everything was cooked and presented exactly as we ordered, this was an outstanding experience... We have been here before and always had great food and service... But today's service was freaking ( man I wish I could swear here, because I need that type of emphasis on this service) , unbelievable!!!! Toot's Restaurant is One Fun, quirky place to eat. The big sign out front draws you in. And like most surprisingly new places you don't know what to expect. I so wish there was on here in Memphis. You walk up, bright colors and speakers are casting the Titans game. TV's with the latest sports casted. The hosts quickly seat ya... big spacious place. Holds lots of folk. Our server pretty cool. Explains the specials for the day...(Ribs for our meat eaters) and other options for non meat eaters. The menu is pretty extensive and prices are RIGHT. Toot's was giving out the fried pickle baskets samples for the day. (Not Bad) I'm most always doing chips/salsa, ribs for another and boneless wings for another. Kids always eat FREE, the hotdog basket with curly fries, beverage and ice cream. (A+) For me this is a budget friendly place to bring the whole family. read more

We were a tad reluctant at first, but let me tell you we quickly changed our minds after just the apps. We started w fried avocado bites and raw, cold oysters. My husband tossed them a HUGE compliment that the oysters give Florida a run for their money. That says A LOT to me and it should to you too! We cannot wait to have more here one day, especially since we all agreed that once we move down to the area, this will become our weekly dinner spot. Two of my daughters attended MTSU, so we had heard about Toot's for years. We stopped in on our way to Nashville. We got there around 11:30am on Thursday for lunch. No wait for seating at all. It's a pub food place with a good menu with plenty of selections. The fried pickles are about the best I've ever had. The pickles are sliced VERY thin and breaded with a light breading. Very tasty, crisp, and not as greasy as some fried pickles I've had elsewhere. I had the rib platter and the ribs were tender and tasty. It was a full slab, which is typically a little more than I want in quantity for lunch, but I'm glad I tried them. The chicken wings were great. We ordered them crispy and that's how they came out (I hate underdone wings). The wings were meatier than some I've had recently and were cooked perfectly. Good selection of sauces. The service was great and the prices were very competitive. They offered daily specials on food and drinks and a late happy hour menu. Check out the daily specials depending on which day you happen to be there. All in all, Toot's didn't disappoint. Will try and make it back when we visit Murfreesboro in the future. read more
