Two of my daughters attended MTSU, so we had heard about Toot's for years. We stopped in on our way to Nashville. We got there around 11:30am on Thursday for lunch. No wait for seating at all. It's a pub food place with a good menu with plenty of selections. The fried pickles are about the best I've ever had. The pickles are sliced VERY thin and breaded with a light breading. Very tasty, crisp, and not as greasy as some fried pickles I've had elsewhere. I had the rib platter and the ribs were tender and tasty. It was a full slab, which is typically a little more than I want in quantity for lunch, but I'm glad I tried them. The chicken wings were great. We ordered them crispy and that's how they came out (I hate underdone wings). The wings were meatier than some I've had recently and were cooked perfectly. Good selection of sauces. The service was great and the prices were very competitive. They offered daily specials on food and drinks and a late happy hour menu. Check out the daily specials depending on which day you happen to be there. All in all, Toot's didn't disappoint. Will try and make it back when we visit Murfreesboro in the future. read more

The deep fried pickles were really good. My french dip,my husband nachos, the appetitizers and my children Mac and cheese were good. The curly fries were all cold and bland and a guy leaving toots hit my 5 year old daughter in the head and eye when she was going the right way and he came out the wrong door. Alex was our server and she was really good with the service and our orders It looks like a bar more than a restaurant not a place I would go back to with my children. Monday lunch special of chicken strips and fries for $4.99 is unbeatable. I like them tossed in medium buffalo sauce for a touch of heat. The appetizer of fried pickles with ranch sauce is so good. Yes, yes, I've experienced better. The fried pickles? Fried. Salty. Meh. Burger? A burger. Fish, salad, fries - everything our table tried was very edible, mostly not even close to terrible, but ... Meh. I've experienced better. Including the service - not real slow, but not fast. Our waitress went home before we were done, apparently, but no one covered for her. I don't believe I'll go back. The food is good. The burgers are excellent and according to my bestie: "the best fried pickles she's ever had". My husband said his burger was really good too. I had the philly cheese steak. I would have preferred the green peppers be a little more sautéed and less crunchy, but it was still awesome. The dining experience Saturday was, well a little less than friendly. It was really loud, wait time normal for Saturday, but no one showed us to the table, just pointed to the back and said "the high top under the burger". Never been here before. Atmosphere was friendly, server friendly, on the house fried pickles. Might want to offer a more palatable offering not all like fried pickles. "I do" girlfriend doesn't. Ordered catfish basket Fried avocado bites Fries and a beer. This is where I/ it gets weird. I hate,can't stand,dislike curly fries and when someone says french fries I surely don't want 2 see the bastard child of the potato on my plate, they replaced them with onion rings. I also don't eat hush puppies but expect them on most fish platters. Fish tasted like dust. Onion rings no flavor. Fried avocado bites no flavor. Fried pickles not even a hint of pickle. You could see it lightly coated just not sure of the issue. Best damn hush puppies I ever ate. I'm giving this place two stars just because the waitress I had was perfectly nice. I had nachos which had no chili or meat in it. I got 5 wings which Cajun rub which had no flavor chicken was dry and I wasn't happy at all. I then proceed to have a chili first bowl was in correct had no jalapeños or onions in it. They bought another bowl which did. Chili was no flavor in it. BBQ Ribs was kind of small. It was tendered and juicy so they ribs was only thing was good. pretty good! our servers were very sweet and kind. the place was clean, but also very packed because there was a ball tournament in town. our servers continued to check on us even though they were busy and made sure we never needed anything and kept our drinks full! i ordered the tricycle appetizer tray and everything on it was wonderful especially the cheese sticks and onion rings! ranch was yummy as i am a sauce person! i ordered the three cheeseburger sliders plain with fries and i have no complaints. everything was fresh, filling and very tasty! i got the brownie and ice cream for dessert and it was absolutely delicious!!!! read more

If you love bar foods and great atmosphere for your sports night watching, this is the place to be. The local crowd is already aware and that's why the place has 4 total locations 3 of which are in the Murfreesboro area. The food is always good and tastes fresh. The drinks are always good and the service is great. When we are craving bar foods and drinks this is the place we look to for the craving stoppers. They have done in and carry out options. They work with Delivery apps but we find the food doesn't hold up as well when being delivered to us and we aren't that far away. Best to just make the trip in to one of the locations, you won't regret it. read more

Prices are decent, food is decent, but why settle for just decent when there are so many good options in town? If you decide to try it, I like the chili and salad with Cajun chicken tenders. Most people I go with like the burgers. I'm not going out of my way to eat at any of the toots locations however if you're in a hurry it's a fine place to go because service is usually pretty fast. I sort of recommend Toots let's still suggest you try other places in town first. read more

Being 35 years old Toots is a family friendly restaurant in Murfreesboro Tennessee. They have great food and drink options at a great price. Service is always done with a smile in a speedy fashion. I've only visited a few times and never had a bad experience even on a busy night. I am always happy to return to this restaurant where I know I'll be treated like family. read more

The manager, Nick, was INCREDIBLE. He interacted with our 1 year old and made the night super fun! I've never seen a manager run around working like Nick did tonight. He was just great. I was out running errands a few weeks ago when the hunger pains started. I stopped in Toots on Broad Street and got a seat at the bar. The bartender didn't seem to eager to have another customer, especially someone drinking sweet tea. I ordered the bologna sandwich and tater tots. Although I specially asked for no onions on the sandwich, the sandwich had onions. I took the onions off and placed them on a napkin where the bartender could see them. However, the bartender paid no attention to me or the onions, even when she laid my bill on the bar. Fortunately, the sandwich was very good and the tater tots were great. In addition, the sweet tea was excellent. Being a regular Toot's customer for many years. It is disappointing to see customer service falter at this location when the other locations take pride in their service. read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVED this place. I was just visiting and we decided to eat there because of their daily specials. Their wing sauce choices were amazing. They had so many to choose from and the flavor was also very good. Also if you say its your first time you get FREE fried pickles. Stopped in on the way home from vacation. So glad we did! They were pretty busy but we got seated almost immediately. The staff were all very kind and the restaurant was very clean, it was refreshing! I ordered the buffalo fingers (boneless wings) tossed in the Cajun Dry Rub and they were A+ AMAZING. Ate lunch today with associates. Monday is chicken wing special day. .40 wings. They are always great and the service is quick. I have learned to go mid afternoon so we can get seated quickly. To write a review of Toot's is to cast a judgement on the people of Murfreesboro. This is their restaurant. As someone who has only lived there for two years I don't believe that I have the authority to give my opinion on such a place as treasured as Toot's. It is a family bar to take little timmy to after losing the big game. It's where you go with your buddies to watch the game. It's where the family goes for dinner when mom's out of town and dad wants to steal his kid's love and let them complain about how mean she is about cleaning their room. It's the place the youth minister takes her broken hearted youth to cheer her up after some boy ran off with half the cheer squad. Toot's and Murfreesboro share a one-ness that only Adam, Eve, and Jesus have experienced with their maker and I will for one not cast judgement upon thee. But if I must... It's a decent place to grab some fried food and a beer. I always end up having a good time while i'm there. However, it's certainly not helping Tennesseans become any less diabetic and overweight. read more

This is place is exactly like hooters without the boobs. I love wings but I like them kind of tangy and I need to control my spice. Toot's offers me that and the price is right. I think the original store was in Murfreesboro and now there is one is Smyrna. They have a big ole' iguana at the hostess stand and otherwise it really is like hooters in decor and style. Mugs of beer, bar food, sports on TV, grease, testosterone, just no boobies... It's definitely fine to bring your kids and they offer a hot dog meal including ice cream and I think it's free. I always order the wings so I cant' speak for the rest of the menu but let me speak to what i know. You can order them in different amount starting around $5 and then they have 4 levels of hotness. The sauce has just the right amount of tangy mixed with the spice and they are generous with the ranch or blue cheese. The wings are only lightly breaded but pack plenty of crisp. I love good value and always feel like I get exactly what I am craving when I come and I always feel like I got my moneys worth. My motto is that if you are going to eat something that may kill you eventually, it better be to die for!! read more
