We usually love Toot's but the past two times we have eaten there, we've been disappointed. I ordered (both times) the bacon cheese burger. The first time, the burger was so horrible, I actually asked to speak to a manager : the meat had the consistency of meatloaf and it tasted like breadcrumbs. The second time, the burger had NO taste. This is my favorite wing house in the world. I get to say that as I travel for a living. Best pickles ever! The wings are naked not breaded. Alright. I'm one of those people who only review places after an awful experience and I rarely even go that far. I'm a student at MTSU and toots is a Murfreesboro staple. We went out the Broadstreet location because a friend had a friend working the bar. To make a long story short, one of my friends and I visited on a Monday night and were immediately sick later that evening and well into the next day. We both had the "special" which was the chicken tenders and fries and a few beers. I called Toots the day after to inform the manager of our issue. We are the type to make sure something like this doesn't happen again, not looking for freebies. The manager straight up did not believe me claiming "more people would have called if there was an issue." I told him I was calling on behalf of myself and my friend who ate the same thing and also got sick, but he was still in disbelief. A few days after, I returned to school and discussed what had happened with some classmates only to learn that two of them were also at the Broadstreet Toots that same evening and also got sick. One of them had to go to the hospital because of dehydration due to her constant vomiting. She told me she also called them and the manager told her the exact same thing. The thing that bothers me so much is that the manager didn't ask what we ate or drank , who served us, what time we came in, etc and insisted that it wasn't food poisoning. He could be right. It could have been an employee who touched something and didn't wash their hands, or a contaminated surface the food came into contact with. Regardless, 4 people sick in the same night after visiting the same establishment is not a coincidence. A responsible manager could have at least lied about being concerned and a simple "I'm so sorry about that I will look into the matter immediately" would have sufficed. This guy was serious about defending the toots reputation and not at all concerned with customer safety which is what prompted this review. read more

Toot's has always been very consistent and great especially for the price. The atmosphere is good for family and I went all throughout college for good beer prices. It's not a 5 star restaurant but they do what they do well. Great place to have locally. read more

If you like southern fried food and ladies in short shorts then here you go. We ate here twice and I love their fried pickles. Their seating arrangements are a little tight as they have booths or high tops but nothing really for large groups. Their food was good, unhealthy but good. Our family loves Toot's for informal family gatherings or to meet friends for casual fare. Tonight we had the worst Toot's experience ever. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The appetizers took more than 20 minutes to arrive. My husband's burger came out without any of the toppings and with the wrong side. I asked for sour cream and was given tartar sauce. Our checks and carry out drinks were completely mixed up. We probably will avoid this location in the future. Some of us did not feel well after eating. read more

Went out to eat here tonight per request of my nephew. I'm not a fan of wings, but man their burgers are awesome. The Blue Hawaiian was great too. Not sure if that was what it was called, to be honest, but it was great. It is loud, but I mean, what do you expect from a place like this? It was Friday night, people were drinking, it was slammed, etc. It was a lot of fun though and the staff was super nice! The only thing that was weird to me was the hostess doesn't even escort you to your table. She pretty much was pointing to our table, which was at the VERY back of the restaurant. I'm glad we sat in the right place. Probably just did it because it was slammed, but leaving people to wander around aimlessly and find their own tables could prove to be problematic if they make it a regular practice. Haha! We used to eat here regularly, but no more!!! We placed the simplest to go order (25 mild traditional wings) on two separate occasions and both times the order was not entered until we arrived to pick it up. So instead of getting our order in 15-20 minutes they said on the phone, we had to wait over an hour for 25 wings!!! Then both times we were handed the wrong order. The food and drinks we got today were pretty good. But our server Haley was not so attentive or friendly honestly. When she finally greeted us it wasn't very inviting. I ordered the Patron berry drink, and when I ordered another one she brought a completely different drink but she never came around so I couldn't inform her. Hands down worst restaurant experience I've ever had tonight. I'm a regular and have been many times but I won't be back. In an effort to turn tables too quickly an employee, appeared to be a manager, cleared a table where my daughter and her friends were seated while they played arcade. We'd only been at the restaurant for about 10 minutes. In the process he threw my kid's retainer away. The most disappointing part was when I let a waitress know of his error, they made her go through the trash for it. Not one single member of management apologized or made any effort to help the situation. Our waitress was in tears with no management support whatsoever. It's bad to manage a restaurant poorly for the sake of the patrons, but I think it speaks volumes about this restaurant to put the employee in this situation who was doing a great job. This is a great place to bring family and friends. The servers were very friendly and the fried pickles were great! I think Toot's is quick & easy, especially on Tuesday's with their deals. However, we had it for dinner tonight (12/11/2018) and much like other times, I'm feeling extremely nauseous. My friends and I met there last night for some fun and drinks. We are a large loud group and they accommodated very well! They also let us move as we were stuck in a nook with a family and we didn't want to make their dining experience miserable.
